"It's alright, but this prisoner did indeed arrest the wrong person."

Locke reminded him.

"We'll release them immediately."

"It was said by the tall, burly sheriff."

"Ah."

Locke drew the curtains, blocking the sheriff's view.

The carriage continued forward.

Frida glared angrily at Locke. "Why won't you let me punish him? How dare he look at me like that!"

"You are now a young lady of the Yumi family, not some princess, have you forgotten?"

Locke said calmly, "Since we're appearing in disguise, we shouldn't reveal our identities and cause unnecessary trouble. Do you want the entire street to kneel down and let us move forward?"

"What's wrong with that? They should kneel down when they see me."

Frida raised her haughty chin and put her hands on her hips.

"Yes, Her Majesty will be informed immediately that you have defied her wishes and gone to the West End."

Locke said.

"Fine, I won't stoop to the level of a lowly person."

Frida glanced at Natal, who nodded and whispered in her ear, "I've memorized what those two sheriffs look like. I'll go find their superior when we get back."

Frida nodded slightly, trusting Natal's memory completely.

As Locke listened to their whispers, he silently lit a candle in his heart for the two incompetent sheriffs.

“Locke, it seems you live in the West End and know this place better than we do.”

Sieg said with a smile.

"No, if we're talking about taverns and the Rose Theater, no one knows them better than you."

Angela said jokingly.

“I’m familiar with the Rose Theater, but no one knows the tavern better than Dimo.”

Sieg said.

Dimo touched his wine bottle, then innocently looked up. "Please don't mention me. Let me try to be invisible."

"A tavern? The Rose Theater?"

Frida's eyes lit up. "Locke, take me out to play."

"No, that kind of place is not suitable for a lady."

Locke refused outright.

Robson also became nervous. He had been dragged into this for no reason, escorting the princess on her hunt. If the princess went to places like taverns and the Rose Theatre along the way, his crime would be compounded.

Robson felt as if a thick, dark cloud was hanging over his head, and he didn't know when it would dissipate.

All we can do is pray that the mission ends soon and that Her Highness returns safely to the Queen's District.

"I said we're going to a pub, why are you trembling? Is a pub that scary?"

Frida looked at Robson, who was trembling slightly, seemingly lost in thought.

Robson shook his head. "Yes, I'm sorry, but if you were to go, it would be a terrible thing."

"coward."

Frida snorted and decided to go hunting at the manor today, and figure out a way to go to the tavern and the Rose Theater tomorrow. She was full of curiosity about new things.

The carriage left the Trey Bridge area and entered the bustling dock area, where the workers reeked of sweat, making Frida and Natal want to get away as quickly as possible.

Moreover, they enjoyed telling vulgar jokes and would whistle and flirt with Frida when they saw her in the carriage.

"Tsk, which young lady is it that she would appear here?"

"She's even more beautiful than Miss Jenny from the Rose Theater. I wish she were a member of the theater too, so I could save up enough money to go and spend it."

"In the Rose Theater on Shire Street, there was a down-on-her-luck noblewoman whose skin was as smooth and delicate as a freshly boiled egg, and her thighs..."

Natal immediately covered Frida's ears to stop the obscene words from reaching her.

"Driver, hurry up and get out of this stinky and filthy place."

Natal said.

The coachman quickened his pace.

Locke was still thinking about the dessert he hadn't finished making; it seemed his mission to increase Renis's favorability was going to fail again.

The carriage traveled for an hour, and Frida remained curious, gazing out the window at the world until it gradually changed from color to gray. Most people in the Kosorsk district wore gray because it was the cheapest fabric. The gray chimneys, gray buildings, and gray figures made the place seem lifeless and gloomy.

Frida asked, puzzled, "Aren't they cold dressed so lightly? The buildings here are so unremarkable; why don't they use green glazed tiles and stained glass?"

"Your Highness, this is the world of ordinary people."

Natal said.

"Help! Help! Save me!"

A woman was pulled into an alley by two burly men. Frida stood up excitedly, her head hitting the dome of the carriage.

She covered her head and sat down. "Locke, Sieg, you must go and save her! A lady is in trouble."

Just as Sieg was about to act, Locke stopped him.

"Ignore it. This is a scam that happens every day in Kosalk. If you fall for it, you'll be swindled out of a lot of money."

"Is that so? What a waste of my sympathy."

Sieg sat back down in his original seat.

Frida paused, then leaned her head forward again. "Is...is it a lie?"

"Yes."

Locke nodded.

“But the lady was screaming so hard, it doesn’t seem like a scam. Natal, let’s get out of the car and take a look.”

Frida lifted her long dress, intending to get off the carriage.

Natal blocked Frida's way. "Your Highness, even if it were true, it's not worth you getting out of the carriage. She's just a commoner."

Sieg glanced at Natal but said nothing.

Angela narrowed her eyes.

Dimo continued drinking.

Robson was still thinking about how the director would hold him accountable if he returned to the Bureau of Investigation.

Locke nodded slightly. "Yes, Princess Frida, your life is above all else."

Although that's not what he personally thinks.

“Lock, Natal, you are preventing a righteous princess from saving her innocent people.”

Frida still wanted to jump out of the car.

Locke reached out to stop her.

"You get out of the car now and walk into the alley. Two thugs will tell you that the lady's father owes them a large debt, and if he can't pay it back, the lady will have to repay it with her body. You will pay the thugs without hesitation. Seeing that you are so generous and beautiful, the thugs will take the risk of kidnapping you and extorting more money from your family. Do you believe it?"

“Impossible, Locke, you’re just exaggerating. I trust my own judgment. Natal, get out of the car with me.”

Frida said in an unquestionable tone, pushed Locke aside, and got out of the car.

Natal could only follow.

"Robson, keep up with them."

Locke said.

Robson nodded and followed.

Angela blinked. "I want to go see what's going on too."

So Frida, Natal, Angela, and Robson followed them into the alley.

Two thugs were groping the woman, who was crying as she spoke, her clothes disheveled from wearing a long linen dress.

"Save me, save me."

"stop!"

Frida was thrilled. This was the first time she had ever encountered something like this. For so many years, she had been seen as a spoiled and willful princess, but from today onwards, everyone's perception of her would be overturned.

They will see the champion of justice—Princess Frida!

Princess Frida stormed up to the thugs.

"Let go of this lady! Get your filthy hands off her."

Both the perpetrator and the woman who was "violated" were stunned.
