Becoming a god by raising witches

Frida naturally received the most essential part.
Locke suddenly regretted not bringing Eileen along; he probably wouldn't have enough chances to feed her five times today.
If you pack it up and take it home, the pork will get cold and taste much worse than when it's freshly roasted.
Moreover, judging from Sieg and Dimo's appetites, there's a high probability they won't leave any food behind.
Frida put the pork into her mouth. The skin was crispy and the meat was tender. It was fatty but not greasy, fresh and tender, and had a wonderful aroma. It felt as if fairies were dancing on her tongue. She fell completely in love with wild boar meat.
“It’s absolutely delicious.”
The two cooks in the manor, Andrei and Marsh, came out after smelling the aroma. Because Locke was too proactive, they didn't have a chance to help with the cooking.
Locke generously shared the pork with them, letting them taste it.
The two men's eyes suddenly lit up, and they asked Locke what spices he had used to make the pork taste so good.
"This is not my achievement, but the merit of the ingredients. Wild boar meat is inherently better than regular pork, and it is in no way inferior to beef and mutton."
Locke said with a smile.
"Natal, I want to eat this delicious wild boar meat every day from now on."
Frida said.
Natal nodded. "Yes, Your Highness, I understand."
Locke was a little worried that Frida would send guards to drive away all the wild boars in the back mountain, so he said, "Wild boar meat is good, but it's not suitable to eat it every day. Eating it once in a while will feel novel and delicious, but eating it every day will lose its novelty and become greasy. Most importantly, it will cause internal heat."
"What do you mean?"
Frida asked.
"The specific manifestations of internal heat are pimples and acne on the face, and sores in the mouth and tongue, which is particularly unfriendly to women."
Locke smiled at Frida, who touched her fair skin and nervously dropped the plate.
"Then I won't eat."
"Eating it once in a while won't cause any problems. Just eat some fruit afterwards."
Locke suggested.
Frida swallowed hard. "I'll wait for the venison."
Venison has a richer aroma than roasted pork and a slightly gamey smell. This is due to the Maillard reaction that occurs when the protein and fat in venison are heated to high temperatures, producing an enticing aroma that makes venison a delicacy in the hearts of many gourmets.
The venison's fat, glistening with the flames, retains its original tenderness while also possessing a unique crispy texture.
Locke cut off a section of the roasted venison from the leg, sliced it, placed it on a plate, and handed it to Frida.
"Have a taste."
Frida nodded slightly, picked up her knife and fork, cut the venison into smaller pieces, and put them into her cherry-like mouth.
Roasted venison has a smooth and tender texture, delicate meat, and a rich wild flavor, which is different from pork.
Frida, still wanting more after finishing her meal, picked up a fine knife and wanted to cut a piece of meat from the deer herself, and Locke did not stop her.
Frida took a piece of meat and put it in her mouth, only to find that it was completely different from the meat Locke had given her; it was dry and tough.
She paused, then turned to ask Locke.
"Why is it different from the one you gave me? Is this the same deer?"
"I cut the best part for you. The reason why reindeer were not domesticated as our main food is because most of their meat is too lean and dry, and not as delicious as pork and beef."
Locke explained.
"Okay, then pick out a few more for me."
Frida said.
Locke helped her select another portion of meat, as the previous venison had been shared with the servants and guards in the manor.
What the princess found hard to swallow was a rare delicacy for the other servants.
In Kosork, the days are short and the nights are long in winter. While everyone is roasting and eating meat, the sun has already set and the stars have quietly climbed into the sky. Sitting around the campfire, even when it starts to snow heavily again, they don't feel cold at all.
Locke, who was admiring the beautiful scenery, suddenly realized that Dimo, Sieg and Natal were no longer in their original places.
"where are they?"
"Dimo and the butler went to visit the estate's wine cellar, and Sieg probably took some young lady out to have some fun."
Angela replied.
Robson glanced at the time and said nervously, "I still have a report to finish. Shouldn't we head back to the Bureau of Investigation?"
“If the director needs to speak with us, he will send a pigeon to deliver the message, so you don’t need to worry about it.”
As a veteran investigator, Angela is very familiar with the director's style of doing things.
"But I feel like today is a collective day of absenteeism."
Robson said guiltily.
"Robson."
Locke looked at him seriously. "You can't just say things like that. We're carrying out a glorious mission to protect Princess Frida's safety, and we're not slacking off at all."
"Forehead……"
Robson looked at Locke, his eyes filled with confusion.
"Locke, I had a great time today. Reindeer Farm is yours now, but I'll still come to visit you often in the future."
Princess Frida said with a smile.
For her, a manor was nothing, especially one in such a remote place as the West End.
"Okay, thank you. I will take good care of the manor."
Locke said.
"If you don't have the money to pay their salaries, you are welcome to work at my mansion. I am willing to hire you as a chef at a high salary."
Frida raised her proud little face and said.
"I will think about it."
Locke said politely.
"Oh, could you look after Suad II for me in the meantime? He seems to be a bit temperamental lately."
Frida said.
Locke nodded and decided to send poor Jerry back to Uncle Yuri.
Frida was about to leave when Natal appeared just in time. The group got back into the carriage and escorted them back to the East End.
It was already 8 p.m. when Frida was taken back.
Locke, Sieg, Angela, and Dimmel all chose to go home, while Robson decided to return to the Bureau of Investigation to work overtime.
Locke walked home and decided to share his acquisition of a manor with the women in his family.
"Locke, why are you back so late?"
Hannah opened the door and the first thing she said to Locke was a gentle rebuke.
"Excuse me, have you had dinner?"
Locke asked.
"Rebecca has already made dinner, and we've already eaten. Oh, Jerry, it's been so long."
Hannah crouched down and gently stroked the head of Jerry, the golden retriever.
Not bad, she even cooks for me when I'm not around. Looks like she's been trained.
Locke thought to himself as he entered the house and saw his elegant black cat, Eileen, lying on the sofa, leisurely reading the newspaper.
If Hannah hadn't gotten used to the cat's unusual behavior, she probably would have already insisted on going to a mental hospital for a checkup.
Jerry the golden retriever wagged its tail happily and followed Hannah into the house. The moment it saw Eileen, it started trembling again and wanted to find a place to hide.
"We saved some food for you."
Hannah said tenderly, and picked up the trembling Jerry.
"Is it too cold, poor little guy?"
"Actually, I'm already quite full. I even brought back some venison for you. Um, don't hug it, it just ate poop on the way."
Locke reminded Hannah, who immediately let go of Jerry, showing a disgusted expression.
Jerry whimpered twice, indicating that it hadn't eaten poop.
Unfortunately, Hannah couldn't understand the dog's language.
Eileen sniffed the scent, stood up from the sofa, and strolled over with leisurely cat-like steps.
Rebecca also slipped out of the kitchen.
She wouldn't have cooked if it weren't to please Eileen.
"This is rare white venison. It's a pity that the princess took the pelt with her. Otherwise, I could have brought it back and made you a winter coat."
