Arknights' Lock of Heaven

Yes, she's really used to it. These two basically do this every few days. At first, she was a little anxious, but eventually she became numb to it.
As for Sherlock Holmes, the great detective knew everything from Mashu's reaction, so he calmly sat down and sipped his tea, watching the farce unfold with great interest.
As for Fujimaru Ritsuka... she was half-suspended from the luxurious chandelier in the reception room, glaring angrily at Xia Yu, whose face was full of embarrassment.
"Uh, Ritsuka, believe me, it really was a slip of the hand!" Xia Yu was trying to explain to her, "When I saw you rushing over, I had a brain fart, and when I came to my senses, this is what happened."
Fujimaru Ritsuka was still glaring at him angrily.
“Mr. Kingu,” Mashu kindly suggested, “why don’t we put the senior down first?”
"Oh, right, right, right," Xia Yu slapped her forehead upon hearing this, realizing she hadn't realized it before. Was their arrival too much of a shock?
He quickly put away the chains and gently lowered Fujimaru Ritsuka down.
"Um... Advisor, this is..." At this moment, Frostnova also realized that something was wrong.
"Well, you guys go out first. I'm catching up with some old friends," Xia Yu could only turn around and comfort them, "It's okay, true friends, let everyone go home."
"Oh," Frostnova said, still somewhat confused, but she obediently led everyone out.
"Oh, you're living a good life, aren't you?" Fujimaru Ritsuka said sarcastically upon seeing this, "You also have a doting bunny girl to keep you company."
Ugh! Damn it! Why am I not so lucky?! I want a bunny-eared girl who's completely obedient to me too!!!
But Xia Yu didn't answer her. Instead, she put her hand on the top of her head and gently pressed it.
Yes, it feels familiar.
"It really is you, Ritsuka..."
"Who else could it be?" Fujimaru Ritsuka remained defiant, but her red eyes betrayed her.
"Also, it's been a long time, Mashu," Xia Yu said, looking past her and towards Mashu behind her.
“Yes, it’s been a long time, Mr. Kingu,” Mashu replied very politely.
"And this one is..." Xia Yu blinked as she looked at Holmes and then asked.
"Yes, just call me Sherlock Holmes," Holmes replied with a smile.
Interesting, this reaction is like someone who clearly knows me but is deliberately asking a question they already know the answer to...
"Oh, so you're the great detective," Xia Yu nodded at him. "It's an honor to meet you."
Then, as if suddenly remembering something, he excitedly reached out and grabbed Fujimaru Ritsuka's shoulder, solemnly saying, "Ritsuka!"
Fujimaru Ritsuka was startled by his actions, her mind went blank, and she stammered, "W-what are you doing...?"
At the same time, Mashu, looking at this scene, thought of something that wasn't quite right.
Mr. Jingu was willing to stand in front of them and use his own life to hold off Tiamat for the sake of that brief period of friendship... wouldn't that be...?
Shouldn't it be...
Looking at this scene, Mashu understood.
Could he possibly have a crush on his senior?!
Is this...is he about to confess his feelings?!
But...senior...my...
Mashu looked at the two of them with teary eyes, biting her handkerchief.
“Now that you’ve come to Terra, I suppose Professor Da Vinci is here too,” Xia Yu stared into her eyes and said, “Professor! Help!!!”
Upon hearing this, Fujimaru Ritsuka's blank mind instantly returned to its senses, and she retorted angrily, "That's all you wanted to say?!"
"What else can I do?" Xia Yu sighed. "I really need an expert to save my life!"
"Heh, then go die!" Fujimaru Ritsuka expressionlessly shook off Xia Yu's hand that was gripping her shoulder, turned around and angrily threw herself into the arms of her little cotton-padded jacket, Mashu.
"Oh? What did I just hear? An expert is urgently needed?" Just then, a communication came in from Storm Borde, and a screen of light unfolded in front of them. "You have a good eye."
“Da Vinci teacher…” Looking at the small figure on the other side of the screen, proudly holding its head high, Xia Yu said softly, “You’ve become so small…”
“That’s not the point!” Da Vinci pursed his lips upon hearing this, then asked, “The point is that the experts you need are here.”
At this point, she pulled Sion in front of the screen, "And there's a lot more!"
"That would be even better," Xia Yu's eyes lit up when she saw this. With their help, at least she wouldn't have to suffer those terrible 'tortures' anymore.
It wasn't that he didn't know the benefits of learning, but those scientists were just too impatient; they wanted him to learn Terra's cutting-edge technology in a single day...
My brain can't take it!
"I say, you built that simulated Gaia, didn't you?" Sion looked at Xia Yu suspiciously and asked, "Who exactly are you? This is the technology of our Atlas Institute, but I don't seem to remember having anyone like you in the institute."
Upon hearing this, Fujimaru Ritsuka and Mashu immediately lowered their heads guiltily.
This was probably, perhaps, what they gave to Jingu.
"Huh? You didn't know?" Xia Yu spread her hands innocently upon hearing this. "I got this technology from Chaldea."
Upon hearing this, Sion immediately turned to look at Leonardo da Vinci.
“Back in the realm of the Sacred Round Table, didn’t we explore the ruins of an Atlas House?” Leonardo da Vinci said without changing his expression. “That’s where we first met Sherlock Holmes. I saw that there was a lot of technology left behind, so I thought of preserving it to contribute to saving the world.”
"The results were also gratifying," she said confidently. "With these techniques, we finally won over this student, who helped us through a great crisis in Babylon."
Yes, it's all about saving the world!
“Forget it, I didn’t really want to pursue this,” Sion shrugged indifferently after hearing what Da Vinci said, then looked at Xia Yu. “What I really want to ask is, since you built the simulated Gaia, you must have a way to provide the magic power it needs to operate, right?”
Upon hearing this, Fujimaru Ritsuka and Mashu understood her intention.
With magic, Storm Borde can take off!
"Hmm? Didn't you guys notice?" Xia Yu asked in surprise, "Isn't Originium the most stable source of energy? As long as you slightly modify the technique of using Originium from the Age of Gods magic, you can convert its energy into magic power. Of course, the efficiency is definitely not high. I can only convert a large amount of magic power by relying on the Holy Grail."
"As you all know, the Holy Grail of Uruk is with me."
"What?" Upon hearing this, Sion and Leonardo da Vinci exchanged a glance. "We can't do that."
"After we crashed into this world, we discovered these ubiquitous particles and considered using them as an energy source, but we couldn't convert them into magic at all."
Da Vinci frowned and said, "It's as if something is preventing us from doing this."
Hearing this, the two stared at each other, not knowing what was going on.
“Forget it, there’s no need to think about it so much now,” Sion interjected, “Mr. Jingu, you can convert magic power in large quantities, right?”
"Yes, you can just call me Xia Yu here, that's my real name," Xia Yu nodded gently. "Yes, I can convert magic power in large quantities. From what you've said, you crashed here. Do you need any help?"
“Well, we need enough magic to power something,” Leonardo da Vinci said somewhat vaguely, “but before that, could you share with us what this world is all about?”
“What exactly is going on in this world… I’m completely clueless myself,” Xia Yu said with a wry smile. “Let’s start from the first time I opened my eyes.”
"..."
They talked for hours, from Fujimaru Ritsuka and Mashu in front of them, to Sherlock Holmes, to Sion and Leonardo da Vinci in Storm Bordeaux, and the new director and many staff members off-screen...
Everyone was listening attentively.
“…Warspace, the void,” Leonardo da Vinci said with a subtle expression, “and…demons…collapsed entities…”
“Pre-civilization…and the sea creatures they left behind…evolution…survival…” Sion’s eyes were filled with a hint of fanaticism.
“A colossal beast, an undead… and a star pod six thousand meters above the ground…” Fujimaru Ritsuka murmured to herself, “Originium… outer space…”
"This world is so dangerous!"
"On this continent, there are at least three visible apocalyptic crises..." Leonardo da Vinci said with a subtle expression, "and various unknown threats, such as the annihilation of pre-civilizations capable of interstellar expansion..."
"Although it seems that having two top-tier Heroic Spirits makes you invincible, there are still hidden crises that could turn an interstellar civilization into ruins... It doesn't seem much better than Earth under the threat of alien gods."
The difference is that one crisis has already erupted, and Chaldea is doing its best to resolve it, while the other crisis, although not yet erupted, is already brewing.
Having experienced the threat of alien gods, they were used to thinking about things on a larger scale, but the destruction of a previous civilization was simply beyond imagination.
"There's one more question!" Just then, the new director suddenly appeared on the screen, "How did we come to this world? Can we go back?"
To be fair, while the alien gods are indeed difficult to deal with, they've already overcome countless trials and tribulations and are about to face their final battle (or so they think). Then suddenly they're thrown here and told that the world is about to be destroyed. The danger level here is probably no less than that of the alien gods, since an entire interstellar civilization has been wiped out.
He has a hard time keeping his composure!
"Yes, how did you get here?" Xia Yu asked with a subtle expression.
“I don’t know,” Leonardo da Vinci shrugged and said with a smile, “Just like you, I opened my eyes and found myself here.”
“In short, now that we know about the existence of the demons, Storm Borde is no longer safe,” she asked solemnly. “Jingu, no, Xia Yu, would you be willing to lend us a hand?”
“Of course,” Xia Yu nodded upon hearing this, “it is my duty, teacher.”
493 I won't let you die
Above the snowfield, Fujimaru Ritsuka lay on Xia Yu's back as the two flew rapidly northward.
After learning of the existence of demons, both Leonardo da Vinci and Sion were restless, not to mention that Xia Yu had also subtly hinted that the previous civilization was probably destroyed by demons.
How could a monster capable of destroying interstellar civilizations be easy to deal with? I used to think it was great that Storm Borde crashed here, since it was deserted and I didn't have to worry about being discovered by anyone.
The main problem was that once the magic supply was cut off, the entire ship was rendered powerless to resist.
Only now did they realize that such a huge mine was buried in this desolate snowfield. After hearing that Xia Yu planned to use the simulated Gaia to build a Great Wall in the snowfield to fight against the influence of the evil, Da Vinci decisively asked Xia Yu to help them leave this damned place first.
