The doll then released the spider silk and slowly landed on the ground of a nearby alley, tidying up its messy hair.
As he walked out of the alley, he turned his head to look at his reflection in the glass of the children's clothing store. He looked exactly like a vibrant teenager.
"Should we burn some incense and pray that this dungeon won't fail? If the puppet dies even once, they'll immediately find out I'm lying to them."
Ke Mingye lay down on the bed, put his right arm behind his head, and stared at the mold on the ceiling, thinking to himself.
To be honest, it's very difficult to avoid failure in every dungeon run, but fortunately, the anti-dogs will only notify them after making the necessary preparations.
Although it was quite humorous, it actually gave Ke Mingye the courage to get away with it.
Soon, the doll approached the abandoned train station on Fourth Street in the old Jingmai neighborhood, where three figures dressed in full protective gear were waiting for it at the entrance.
At the same time, the instance's interface also appeared in its eyes.

Chapter 62 Dungeon Boss Battle (Part 1)
June 21, 6 PM, No. 4 Street, Old Jingmai District.
This is the most deserted street in old Beijing. Under the eaves at the entrance of the abandoned train station, three figures lean against the wall, waiting for someone to arrive.
Ke Mingye recognized the three of them at first glance through the perspective of the trick puppet.
The anti-dog was wearing a dark turtleneck jacket and a deer stag hat. He was looking down at his phone, his collar obscuring his profile.
Qingmeng was wearing an underwear with a band logo, topped with a jacket, and her light blue hair was still tied in a ponytail. She crossed her arms and listlessly looked around.
Orange Peel was dressed casually, but also wearing a baseball cap. He was reading a Cthulhu Mythos novel called "Tales of the Unreal World," and a slight smile played on his lips.
Ke Mingye slowly approached the three men and stood beside them, leaning against the wall. The three men silently glanced at him, two of them quickly looking away.
"You've arrived, Spider-Man," Orange Peel smiled at him.
“You’re always the last one to arrive, you’re really something,” Qingmeng said.
"Punk girl, what do you mean by always being the last one to arrive? It's only happened twice, okay?" Ke Mingye rolled his eyes at them. "Also, can't you just call me 'Failed Man'?"
The anti-dog said, "It's too long and convoluted. Spider-Man is fine."
Ke Mingye turned to look at him: "You cultured man, in this sweltering heat, don't you look suspicious dressed like that?"
"Can't I be sensitive to the cold? You're being nosy."
"Speaking of which, according to the rankings, you've killed four superhumans, yet the Superhero Association hasn't issued a warrant for your arrest?"
"No, they're not sure if it was the same person who killed me. I'm actually looking forward to seeing what nickname they'll give me later." Anti-Dog adjusted his glasses.
What if the crows come to catch you?
"Just die in front of him." Anti-Dog said expressionlessly. "Enough with the chit-chat, everyone's here, let's get into the dungeon. I told you I had something to do today, so let's finish this quickly."
As he spoke, he closed the black-covered book in his hand, stood up from the wall he was leaning against, and led the way toward the entrance of the train station.
Ke Mingye was taken aback: "Just like that, we're going into the dungeon? Aren't we going to discuss tactics or something first?"
"The specific tactics will be explained in the dungeon; it's not that complicated. This dungeon is different from the previous one; after entering, you have to walk a bit to get to the boss fight location."
The dog walked forward, explaining as it went.
Ke Mingye looked at Ju Zipi and Qingmeng, pointed at the back of the anti-dog, and with an expression that said "this guy is crazy," he silently asked through lip reading, "You guys have no objections?"
“He’s the strategist,” Orange Peel said.
"You cunning strategist," Qingmeng said.
The two walked past Ke Mingye as they talked. Although Ke Mingye was puzzled, he did not fall behind and took two steps at a time to walk forward and extended his hand.
As the team's four hands pressed against it, the panel gradually brightened as if it were filled with energy.
The next second, their figures had vanished from the spot.
[We have entered the "Crazy Train Station" instance. The boss battle area will be short ahead.]
Ke Mingye opened his eyes, and what came into view was a damp and cramped passage. On the wall was a sign with a blue background and black lettering that read, "Platform 7 is just ahead."
Turning their heads, they saw that their backs were blocked by layers of stacked rocks, which seemed to indicate that they had no way out.
At this moment, Qingmeng had already taken out two guns from her backpack. Unlike last time, this time she was using two Desert Eagles, their silver-white barrels standing out conspicuously in the darkness.
The four walked forward, and the anti-dog at the front said, "The place where the boss battle takes place is just outside this passage."
"The train platform?" Ke Mingye said.
"This time, the boss is a train conductor."
After finishing speaking, Anti-Dog began to describe what the boss of this dungeon looked like and what its specific mechanics were.
Ke Mingye and Ju Zipi listened attentively. Unlike Qingmeng and Fanquan, they hadn't been inside this instance before, so they didn't know what was going on.
"Strategist, why does my mission sound so daunting?" Ke Mingye couldn't help but ask after learning about his role from them.
"Just like last time, only you can do it this time," the anti-dog replied.
"This sounds like a pyramid scheme pitch. Is that a train station in Myanmar ahead?"
"Just tell the truth."
Soon, the four reached the end of the passage, where an upward staircase came into view; the elevator beside it had stopped working. Light streamed in from above the platform.
They followed the light source upwards, as if they were about to step into heaven, their eyes squinting slightly as they were not yet able to adjust to the sudden bright light.
Finally, we arrived at the battlefield for the boss battle.
Ke Mingye turned his head and looked around. It was a long-abandoned platform.
The signboard bearing the inscription "Platform 7" is covered in moss, the uneven ground is stained with water, and the pillars of the platform are covered with ancient cracks that look like ghosts stretching their arms in all directions.
The water from the eaves pooled in the cracks, forming a trickle before slowly cascading to the ground, tirelessly striking the old tracks with a ticking sound.
"Get ready, take a few more steps forward, the boss battle is about to begin."
"So exaggerated?"
Ke Mingye spoke in a low voice. The sound of footsteps and splashing water overlapped, making him shiver. The deep atmosphere in the air seemed to become even heavier.
The total number of players participating in this dungeon is 4.
[This raid has officially begun. Defeat the boss—the Mad Train Conductor—by any means necessary.]
As the four were walking, a warning panel popped up in front of them.
Immediately afterwards, the platform beneath my feet changed, as if the world had been suddenly compressed. The originally rectangular ground gradually condensed and soon became a square platform about ten meters wide.
As the sun sets, an old track unfolds around the eerie square platform, tightly encircling it. Then, at each of the four opposite corners of the platform, a bottomless tunnel appears, its destination unknown.
With the Boss's area set up, the main character of this place also makes his appearance.
The wheezing of the train whistle, accompanied by the rumbling of the engine, echoed above the platform, deafening and almost piercing Ke Mingye's eardrums. Then, a dark train rushed out of the tunnel on the northwest side of the platform.
The train seemed to stretch on forever, with a group of dark figures perched on the roof of the carriages, like a dark cloud hanging over the top.
They were armed with either muskets or machetes.
His face was contorted in a ferocious grimace, with a crimson glint in the corner of his eye, as if blood could be squeezed out of it.

[Dungeon Boss Introduction:]
The train conductor has gone mad.
A hundred years ago, he got lost on this Möbius strip-like track. No matter which direction he went or which tunnel he entered, he would inevitably return to this square platform.
Many times, he tried to escape from the train with the other passengers, hoping to get away from the platform. But everyone who got off the train died, turning into a cloud of blood and foam that exploded before his eyes.
Since then, the train conductor has been traveling on this circular track for many, many years.
He prayed every day, but at the same time, he slowly despaired, knowing in his heart that he would never reach the end and would never see his child again.
But for the sake of the passengers on the bus, for the sake of those lovely young men, he secretly made a decision in his heart.
He must shoulder the responsibility of a train conductor, forming a team with the unfortunate passengers who have arrived at this platform, and continue to travel on this track forever, until death.
But one day after that, when he woke up in the driver's seat, he found a strange figure reflected in the driver's side mirror.
The man was clutching his stomach and laughing wildly at him.
The train conductor rested his arm on the table, repeatedly bringing his face close to the mirror, staring blankly for a long time before realizing that the person laughing maniacally was actually...
—Himself.
