They quickly left the warehouse, heading towards the "Temple of Darkness" following the markings on the map. The night remained deep, the city streets deserted, save for a few dim streetlights flickering in the distance. Su Ting walked at the front, occasionally turning back to check on everyone's location.

“We need to be careful,” Su Ting said in a low voice. “There might be other patrols here.”

Kevin nodded and followed closely behind. Lena and Leah followed closely behind, while Aiden brought up the rear as a lookout.

They walked through a series of quiet alleyways and finally arrived at the location marked on the map. The building before them was an ancient temple, dilapidated but still exuding an eerie atmosphere. The door was covered in dust, clearly indicating that no one had been there for a long time.

"Is this the 'Dark Temple'?" Lena asked uncertainly.

“It should be,” Su Ting replied. “Let’s go in and take a look.”

Su Ting gently pushed open the door, and a musty smell wafted out. They entered the temple, where the light was extremely dim, barely enough to make out some blurry outlines. Su Ting took out a torch, lit it, and illuminated the path ahead.

“This place looks really old,” Leah said softly.

Chapter 921 The Mysterious Ritual

"We need to find what we need quickly," Su Ting urged.

They walked slowly along the temple's corridors, the walls covered with ancient murals depicting mysterious rituals. Kevin looked at the murals with great interest, pausing occasionally to study them.

“These paintings seem to tell an ancient story,” Kevin said.

“We don’t have time to study these things,” Su Ting said, frowning. “Let’s move on.”

They continued on their way and finally came to a huge stone gate. The gate was covered with strange runes, giving it a heavy and oppressive feel.

"How do I open this door?" Aiden asked.

"The map says we need a key." Su Ting took out the map and studied it carefully. "But where is the key?"

Just then, Lena suddenly noticed a small hole at the bottom of the stone door, shaped like a key.

“Look, could this be where the keys are kept?” Lena said.

Su Ting crouched down and took out a small bag from his pocket, which contained various tools. He picked out a thin metal rod and carefully inserted it into the small hole.

A soft clicking sound rang out, and the stone door began to slowly open.

"It's done!" Aiden exclaimed excitedly.

They pushed open the stone door and entered a spacious hall. In the center of the hall stood a huge altar, surrounded by ancient books and utensils. Rows of torches hung on the walls, casting a dim, yellowish light.

“These things all look very valuable,” Lena remarked.

"Don't move around, find what we need first," Su Ting reminded him.

They searched carefully around the altar and finally found a small box in a corner. Sutin opened the box, and inside was a sparkling crystal.

"Is this what we're looking for?" Leah asked.

“It should be,” Su Ting said. “The ‘Stone of Light’ mentioned on the map should be this one.”

"We did it!" Kevin exclaimed excitedly. "What's next?"

“Let’s take our things first, and then we’ll figure out how to get out of here,” Su Ting said. “There are still many dangers outside.”

They carefully put the crystal away and started walking back. Suddenly, they heard hurried footsteps outside, and they immediately became alert.

"Someone's coming!" Lena whispered.

"Quickly, hide!" Su Ting gave the order immediately.

They quickly slipped into a side chamber, closed the door, leaving only a small crack to observe the situation outside. A group of men in black entered the temple, carrying torches and appearing extremely vigilant.

“They’re searching this place,” Aiden said in a low voice.

“We need to find a way to get around it,” Su Ting said calmly, “otherwise we’ll be discovered.”

Just as they were about to take action, a voice came from outside the door: "What are you doing here?"

Su Ting and the others immediately tensed up. They didn't know who the other person was, or whether they were friend or foe. The gap in the doorway was too small to see the person clearly.

“We…we’re looking for something,” Su Ting answered tentatively.

"What are you looking for?" the man asked.

“We…we are looking for something called the ‘Stone of Light’,” Su Ting decided to be honest.

There was a moment of silence outside the door, then the person said, "You're here to find the 'Stone of Light'?"

“Yes, can you help us?” Su Ting asked.

Chapter 922 You Leave Here

“Okay, come with me,” the man said.

Su Ting and his companions exchanged glances and finally decided to trust this person. They opened the door and saw a person wearing a black cloak standing in the doorway, their face obscured.

“Come with me, I can take you away from here,” the man said.

Su Ting nodded and followed him out of the temple. The night outside was still deep, and the city lights were faintly visible. They followed the man through several alleys and finally arrived at a quiet square.

“It’s safe here.” The man removed his cloak, revealing a young and handsome face.

"Who are you?" Su Ting asked warily.

“I am Alexander, a member of the underground organization here,” the man said with a smile. “I know you are looking for the ‘Stone of Light,’ and we can help you.”

"An underground organization?" Su Ting asked in surprise.

“Yes, we have been fighting against the dark forces here,” Alexander explained. “Once you find the ‘Stone of Light,’ we can provide even more assistance.”

“That’s great.” Su Ting breathed a sigh of relief. “We need to leave this city as soon as possible.”

“No problem, I’ll arrange everything,” Alexander nodded. “But now, you need to rest. We’ll be ready before dawn.”

“Thank you, Alexander,” Sutin said.

They followed Alexander into a hidden basement where there was a simple bed. Su Ting and the others sat on the bed, trying to relax their tense nerves.

"What do we do next?" Lena asked.

“Let’s rest for a while and wait for Alexander’s instructions,” Su Ting said.

"I hope everything goes smoothly," Leah said softly.

“We definitely will,” Su Ting said firmly. “We have found the ‘Stone of Light,’ and now it’s time to leave this place.”

Everyone nodded, closed their eyes, and began a short rest. Su Ting leaned against the wall, gazing at the exit of the basement, his heart filled with anticipation. He knew that this adventure was not over yet; even greater challenges awaited them.

They waited quietly, a tense yet expectant atmosphere filling the basement. Everyone looked somewhat tired, but at such a moment, they could not let their guard down.

“The environment here is indeed quite nice, at least much safer than outside,” Kevin said softly, trying to make his tone sound as relaxed as possible.

“Yes, but we can’t let our guard down,” Su Ting cautioned. “We don’t fully understand Alexander and their organization yet.”

“However, he does seem to genuinely want to help us,” Lena added. “Perhaps this is our only way out.”

Leah nodded: "The most important thing now is to stay calm and trust that Alexander will help us."

Just then, a light footstep sound came from outside the door, followed by Alexander's voice: "Su Ting, can you come out for a moment? I have something to discuss with you."

Su Ting immediately stood up, walked quietly to the door, carefully opened it, and went out. Alexander stood in the corridor, holding a map in his hand.

“We’re about to get started,” Alexander said in a low voice. “I need to confirm the plan with you.”

“Okay, please tell me what we need to do,” Su Ting replied.

Chapter 923 Important Entrance and Exit

Alexander unfolded the map and pointed to the markings: "This city has several important entrances and exits, one of which is in the old town in the north. There is a hidden passage there that leads directly to the outside."

"Is that passage safe?" Su Ting asked.

“It’s relatively safe, but you still need to be careful,” Alexander explained. “We’ve already arranged for some people to assist you along the way.”

"Understood, then we'll start from that direction." Su Ting nodded in agreement.

At that moment, Aiden also came over and asked with concern, "Is everything arranged?"

“That’s about enough. Alexander will take us to a safe place, and then we can set off again.” Sutin turned to Alexander and said, “Can we begin?”

“No problem, come with me,” Alexander said.

The group followed Alexander through several narrow underground passages until they finally arrived at a hidden exit. This exit led to an abandoned warehouse, the surrounding environment appearing exceptionally dark and silent.

“This is the place. We’ll start from here,” Alexander said.

“Thank you, Alexander,” Sutin said again, expressing his gratitude.

“You’re welcome, it’s the right thing to do,” Alexander replied with a smile. “Remember to be careful on the road, and if you encounter any problems, contact us via this communicator.”

Su Ting took a small communicator and nodded: "We will."

"Good luck to you," Alexander said.

Su Ting led his companions out of the warehouse; it was still pitch black outside. The city lights flickered in the distance, as if telling untold stories. They moved swiftly through the darkness, gradually moving away from the dangerous city.

"Is everyone ready?" Su Ting asked.

"Ready!" everyone answered in unison.
