Hiroshi slumped onto the sofa, let out a long sigh of relief, and kicked his shoes aside. "Ah, finally I can rest for a while. This sun is too strong; I start sweating after just a few steps!"

Just then, Xiaoxin suddenly jumped up from the sofa, ran to Lin Yu's side, tugged at his clothes and shook him: "Yu! Where's the knife you used to chop the crocodile this morning? Can I and Zhuzhixin take a look?"

Zhu Zhixin followed along, his eyes full of anticipation. "I want to see too... This morning, with one swing of that knife, the crocodile was split in two. That's amazing!"

Seeing the two of them looking at him with bright eyes, Lin Yu couldn't bear to refuse, so he said, "It's fine for you to see it, but this knife is very sharp, so you have to promise not to get hurt."

"Okay!" the two children answered in unison, nodding their heads like rattles.

Lin Yu took the Nichirin Blade out of the system and showed it to Nohara Shinnosuke and Sukenosuke. Only after seeing that neither of them could pull the blade out of its sheath did Lin Yu feel relieved.

Hiroshi, who had been resting with his eyes closed on the sofa, sat up curiously upon hearing their conversation. After all, who could resist a weapon that looked both cool and incredibly powerful? "Lin Yu, can I take a look at this knife? It looks really cool."

Seeing the expectant look in Hiroshi's eyes, Lin Yu nodded and said, "It just so happens that neither of them can pull out this knife. See if you can."

Hiroshi Nohara picked up the Nichirin Blade from Shin-chan's hand, and as soon as he touched it, he couldn't help but exclaim "Wow!" as his hand sank slightly.

"So heavy?" he said in surprise. "Lin Yu, what kind of training do you usually do? How can you lift such a heavy knife so easily? My arm is a little sore."

As he spoke, he shook his arm, his face full of disbelief. The knife didn't look that big, but it was several times heavier than the kitchen knife at home. Lin Yu smiled and didn't say much. "It's probably from working out. With more practice, you'll be able to lift it."

Lin Yu's answer was undoubtedly quite emotionally intelligent, but Xiao Xin, who was listening nearby, immediately contradicted him, "What is this! It's obvious that Dad isn't as good as Yu, and he's making excuses! Last time Dad was carrying a bag of rice, he only carried half a bag before complaining of being tired!"

Hiroshi blushed and scratched his head awkwardly after Shin-chan's words. "You kid, why do you tell everyone everything!" he said, gripping the hilt of the sword with both hands and trying to draw it from its sheath.

The scabbard was indeed very tight; he used some force before he heard a soft "click" as the blade slowly emerged.

The blade was silvery-white, gleaming coldly under the lights of the wallpapered room, with faint water ripples on its surface, like waves on a river.

Hiroshi stared at the blade, his eyes wide. "This sword is so cool! It's much better than those samurai swords on TV!" he said, holding the sword up to the light. The light reflected from the blade fell on the wall, forming a thin, elongated spot of light.

Not only Hiroshi thought so, but Shin-chan's Shin-chan, who was watching from the side, also thought so. After Misae put the prepared lunch on the table, she couldn't help but exclaim when she saw the knife in Hiroshi's hand, "What a cool knife!"

After reading Hiroshi's work, he returned the Nichirin Blade to Lin Yu. Lin Yu then put the blade into his system and went to wash his hands before having dinner.

"Dinner's ready!" Misae said, handing out chopsticks to everyone. "Shin-chan, Suke-chan, come and eat, or the food will get cold!" Shin-chan and Suke-chan immediately ran over, sat down, and picked up their chopsticks. Shin-chan picked up a piece of cucumber, put it in his mouth, chewed it, and his face was full of satisfaction. "Delicious! Mom's cucumber is so delicious!" Suke-chan also picked up a rice ball and ate it in small bites.

Just as everyone was enjoying their meal, a girl's voice suddenly came from outside the door, sounding a little anxious: "Zhu Zhixin! Zhu Zhixin, where are you? Can you hear me?"

Upon hearing the sound, Zhu Zhixin dropped his chopsticks with a clatter. He jerked his head up, his eyes wide with surprise. "It's Lulu's voice!" he exclaimed, jumping up and running towards the door before anyone could react. "Lulu! I'm here!"

Lin Yu and Guangzhi exchanged a glance and stood up as well. They hadn't met the "Lulu" that Zhu Zhixin had mentioned yet, and they were both a little curious. Meiya picked up the chopsticks that had fallen on the ground, wiped them, put them on the table, and then went out.

Lulu, who was resting outside, immediately turned around when she heard someone call out. When she saw that it was Prince, whom she had been looking for for a long time, she almost ran over immediately. "Zhu Zhixin! You've finally been found!" Lulu hugged Zhu Zhixin tightly. "I've been looking for you for two days. I thought something had happened to you. I was so scared!"

Zhu Zhixin felt a little like crying while being hugged by her, but he still smiled and said, "I'm fine, Lulu!" Lulu let go of Zhu Zhixin, wiped away her tears, and then looked at Lin Yu, Guangzhi, and Meiya who were walking over. Her eyes instantly became wary.

She placed her hand on the hilt of her sword, leaning slightly forward like a small animal ready for battle. "Who are you? Why are you with Susumu Shin? Did you capture him?"

Just as Hiroshi was about to explain, he saw Shin-chan run out from behind Lin Yu and stand in front of Lulu, looking up at her with eyes full of curiosity. "Beautiful sister, you're so pretty! Are you Shin-chan's friend? My name is Nohara Shin-chan, you can call me Shin-chan!" Sure enough, Nohara Shin-chan couldn't resist a beautiful woman.

Lulu looked down at Shin-chan, then back at Susumu Shin, and suddenly froze. She pointed at Shin-chan, then at Susumu Shin, her mind suddenly blank. "Two...two Susumu Shins?"

She had only seen Susumu Shin and hadn't noticed Shin-chan, but now that she looked at the two children, they looked exactly alike, with the same appearance, the same short hair, and even their facial expressions were somewhat similar, as if they were carved from the same mold.

Seeing Lulu's confusion, Zhu Zhixin quickly explained, "Lulu, he's not me, he's Xiaoxin, a new friend I met. We just look alike. They didn't arrest me, don't misunderstand."

Lulu nodded, a slightly embarrassed expression on her face. "I'm sorry, I misunderstood you earlier. My name is Lulu, and I'm a member of the Royal Guard of the Kingdom of Bribri." As she spoke, she puffed out her chest, looking very proud. The Royal Guard was the most powerful force in the kingdom, and being able to join it was her greatest pride.

"Hello, my name is Lin Yu!"

[Ding! Get to know Lulu]

[Congratulations, host, you have obtained a white treasure chest]

[Ding Lulu's favorability increases, green treasure chest obtained]

......

After the two sides got to know each other, Misae looked at them and said with a smile, "Since you are Suke's new friends, come in and eat with us! We have plenty of rice balls and vegetables to eat."

Lulu glanced at Susumu and only agreed after he nodded, saying, "Thank you." The group returned to the wallpaper room, where Misae gave Lulu a pair of chopsticks and a rice ball. Lulu took the rice ball and ate it in small bites.

Her eyes, however, were secretly observing the room's furnishings. She had never seen such a magical house before; opening the door from the outside revealed a whole house inside, it was almost like magic.

Xiao Xin sat next to Lulu, chattering away about the crocodile they encountered that morning and the Nichirin Blade they saw. "Sister Lulu, have you ever seen such a cool sword? It can cut a crocodile in half with one swing, it's so powerful!" As he spoke, he imitated Lin Yu's sword-wielding movements, almost knocking over the cucumber plate next to them.

Hiroshi quickly steadied the plate and said helplessly, "Shin-chan, don't move around, be careful not to knock the plate over." Lulu listened to Shin-chan's words with curiosity in her eyes, "Is there really such a powerful knife?"

"Of course it's true!" Xiaoxin said. "Ayu even showed us the knife, but it was so heavy that neither Zhuzhixin nor I could pull it out. When Dad pulled it out, his eyes widened in amazement!"

Lulu nodded, feeling more trust in Lin Yu. She had been worried that Zhu Zhixin would encounter bad people, but now it seemed that Lin Yu and the others were good people, and with such a powerful knife, they could definitely protect Zhu Zhixin.

Lulu looked out the window; it was getting late. So she said to Prince Zhixin, "Prince, we should go back. The King and the others have been very worried about you these past few days."

The setting sun dyed the river a molten gold. As waterbirds skimmed across the surface, the light spots on their wingtips fell like shattered diamonds. Zhu Zhixin clutched Lin Yu's clothes, looked up at him with her little face full of anticipation, and said in a voice full of expectation, "Brother Lin Yu, I want to invite you to my castle! Dad will be so happy to see you. He always says that it's the kingdom's good fortune to have met people who truly help me!"

Upon hearing the word "castle," Shin-chan immediately jumped up, raising his hands above his head. "Castle! Is it like in the movies, with pointed roofs, fire-breathing dragons, and knights? I want to go! I want to go! I also want to dance the elephant dance in the castle for Grandpa King!"

Hiroshi scratched his head and looked at Misae with a hint of hesitation in his eyes. "Wouldn't going to the castle be too much of a disturbance? We're just an ordinary family. Would it be inappropriate for us to suddenly become guests of royalty?"

Upon hearing this, Lulu immediately said, "Don't worry, His Majesty the King is very kind! And the castle has the best chefs who can make the most famous honey-roasted venison and wild fruit pie in the Kingdom of Bribri, as well as plum wine made with spring water from the valley. I guarantee you'll love it!"

As she spoke, she swallowed hard. The last time she had honey-roasted venison was on the king's birthday, and she still remembered its sweet taste.

Upon hearing Suke's invitation, Lin Yu immediately said to Hiroshi and the others, "Since Suke has invited us, let's go. It'll be a good opportunity to see what the Kingdom of Bribri is like."

Of course I'll go! How else am I supposed to get the wishing vase?

When Zhu Zhixin saw that everyone had agreed, she was so happy that she spun around on the spot. Then Lulu took out a small silver whistle from her pocket and blew a whistle. The sound was sharp but not shrill, like the call of a titmouse.

Before long, the sound of horses' hooves could be heard from the distant mountain road, and two ornately decorated carriages slowly approached amidst billowing dust.

The carriage was dark brown with gold vine patterns carved on both sides, and the wheels were covered with thick velvet, making it seem like it wouldn't be bumpy when it moved.

Two guards in silver armor stood on the front carriage. The armor was marked with a blue shield emblem, in the center of which was a soaring eagle—the national emblem of the Kingdom of Bribri.

"It's the royal guard!" Suke's eyes lit up, and he pulled Shin-chan along as they ran over. "They're here to pick us up!"

Upon seeing Zhu Zhixin, the guard immediately jumped down from the carriage, knelt on one knee, and crossed his arms. "Your Highness, it's so good to see you safe and sound! His Majesty the King has been waiting for you for a long time."

Zhu Zhixin quickly helped the guard up. "Get up, I'm fine. Thanks to Brother Lin Yu and the others for their help. These are my friends, and I've invited them to the castle!"

"Yes, Your Highness!" The guard stood up and bowed respectfully to Lin Yu and his party. "Please get in the carriage, guests. Tea and snacks have been prepared inside so you can have something to eat on the way."

Looking at the magnificent carriage, Hiroshi rubbed his hands nervously. "This...this is too grand, isn't it?" Misae tugged at his arm and whispered, "Don't be nervous, just follow the children." Lin Yu, on the other hand, sat down in the carriage quite calmly.

Shin-chan couldn't wait to climb onto the carriage. He lifted the curtain and saw that the carriage was covered with a red velvet carpet, with soft cushions on both sides and delicate snacks on the small table.

There were cookies covered in icing, diced fruit, and a pot of steaming flower tea. "Wow! There's so much delicious food in there! Mom, come in quickly!"

Hearing Shin-chan's voice, Hiroshi and Misae boarded the carriage, and the guards drove it slowly into the depths of the valley.

The mountain road is lined with tall pine trees with thick trunks and lush foliage. Sunlight filters through the gaps in the leaves, creating beams of light. Occasionally, squirrels jump down from the branches, clutching pine cones, watching the carriage pass by with curiosity before quickly disappearing into the grass.

Inside the carriage, Shin-chan was feeding a cookie to Sukeno Shin. "Sukeno Shin, this cookie is so delicious! It's even better than the cookies my mom makes!"

Shin-chan smiled at Nohara Shinnosuke. "These are made by the pastry chef at the castle. He's the best at making these sugar cookies. When we get to the castle, I'll have him make you a big box, so you can enjoy them even when you go back."

Lulu sat to the side, holding a small book with a leather cover, and showed it to Misae. "This is a picture book of the Kingdom of Bribri. It shows pictures of castles, flowers in the valley, and our kingdom's traditional festivals!"

The paintings in the album are all hand-painted, with vibrant colors depicting castle spires glittering in the sunlight, valleys filled with colorful wildflowers, and people dancing around a campfire.

Misae was mesmerized. "It's so beautiful! The scenery in your kingdom is so lovely, and your traditional festivals are so lively!"

Lin Yu and Guangzhi sat on the other side. Looking at the scenery outside the window, Guangzhi couldn't help but exclaim, "I never imagined there were such beautiful places in the mountains. The air is so much better than in the city!"

Lin Yu nodded, his gaze falling on the distant mountain peaks as he pondered the matter of the treasure.

Chapter 257 The Crisis of the Kingdom of Bribri

The carriage traveled for about two hours, and as darkness fell, the stars began to twinkle in the sky. Just then, a cluster of lights appeared ahead, like pearls scattered in the night. Lulu excitedly exclaimed to everyone, "Look! That's the castle of the Kingdom of Bribri!"

Lin Yu looked in the direction she pointed and saw a huge castle standing in the distant mountain valley. The castle walls were gray, tall and sturdy, with a tower at intervals along the walls.

The tower is topped with a pointed black roof, from which blue lanterns hang. The light from the lanterns shines through the thin gauze onto the city walls, while in the very center of the castle stands an even taller tower, at the top of which a golden weathervane turns gently in the night breeze.

The carriage arrived at the castle gate, where the massive iron gate slowly opened. Two squads of guards stood behind the gate, dressed in the same silver armor as before and holding spears. Upon seeing Zhu Zhixin's carriage, they shouted in unison, "Welcome back, Your Highness!"

The carriage drove into the castle and through a spacious courtyard paved with bluestone slabs, lined with tall sycamore trees, under which stone benches were placed.

In the middle of the courtyard is a circular fountain, topped with a silver eagle sculpture. Water sprays from the eagle's beak and falls into the pool below, making a "tinkling" sound.

The carriage stopped at the entrance of the castle's main hall, where a man in a red robe was waiting.

He had a few wrinkles on his face but bright eyes; he must be the king of the Kingdom of Bribri.

Upon seeing Zhu Zhixin, the man immediately rushed over and embraced him tightly. "My good child, you're finally back! The Queen and I were so worried about you these past few days."

"Dad!" Zhu Zhixin hugged the man's neck, her voice tinged with grievance. "I was kidnapped by the White Snake Gang. Luckily, I met Brother Lin Yu, otherwise I might not have been able to come back!"

The man released Susumu and looked at Lin Yu with a gentle smile. "Thank you for saving my son and bringing him back. I am the King of the Kingdom of Bribri. You can call me King El. Please stay in the castle tonight. If you need anything, just let me know!"

Lin Yu stepped forward and bowed slightly. "Hello, my name is Lin Yu. You're too kind. I was just doing what I was supposed to do."

[Ding, you've met El]

[Congratulations, host, you have obtained a white treasure chest]

[Ding! El's favorability has increased. Green treasure chest obtained.]

[Ding! El's favorability has increased. You have obtained a blue treasure chest.]

Lin Yu was delighted to hear the system notification. Since King El's favor towards him had increased so quickly, the treasure matter would probably be resolved soon.

Then Shinnosuke pulled King El aside and began to introduce Shinnosuke Nohara and his family. When the king saw Shinnosuke, he was obviously stunned for a moment, but he quickly realized what was going on.
