A few days later.

Michael was packing some things on his luggage because today is the day that he and his class would be participating in their MT, a so called membership training which is basically a retreat to go away together for a day or more and carry out a variety of group bonding activities and training activities.

Which is basically a vacation.

And is of course a pain in the as* for Michael as he wasn't the least bit interested in it.

Well, maybe a little, as it's one of those things he had never experienced before.

Michael looked at the packed things inside his luggages and said while rubbing his chin, "Hmm…is this all the things I need?"

Then the sound of footsteps suddenly appeared from behind him, followed by a familiar face walking inside his room.

"Is that all of it? Did you pack everything you need babe?" Amanda said the moment she walked inside.

Michael turned towards her and said, "I think that's all of it"

Amanda raised an eyebrow, then looked at the luggages laid out on the bed and suddenly said, "You don't have any toiletries. Don't tell me you plan to borrow their toothbrushes when you're there?"

Snap!

"Ah, right! That's the reason why I had a nagging feeling earlier that I was missing something!" Michael said with a laugh at Amanda as he snapped his fingers.

Amanda just shook her head and said, "Geez, how can you even forget such important things?"

"Hey, we packed a lot of things babe. There's even a separate luggage for food like cup noodles and canned food. I just thank my lucky stars that I wasn't assigned with packing frozen goods such as meat and sausages" Michael answered while feeling pity at the person who was given that kind of assignment.

"Well, it makes me really wonder why your parents sent you to college when you're almost in your thirties" Amanda said in a wonder.

With Amanda leaning on the door watching him, Micheal replied from the bathroom while taking the toiletries he needs, "Well, I just finished high school, must be why they wanted me to attend college. In fact, I also talked about this with Dylan if he wanted to attend it with me, but that bastard turned his back on me the moment I brought it up, he's such a jerk sometimes. Sometimes, I really wonder what Allison sees in him"

Hearing him bringing up Dylan all of a sudden into the conversation, Amanda just snorted with a laugh and said, "Says the guy who sung praises of him whenever Allison would ask something about his friend"

Michael just smiled and replied, "What can I do? That bastard is like my brother already, we've been friends since high school, and it's been over a decade already since huh. Time sure flies fast"

"Yeah, there's probably a lot of people that are jealous of you two. It's rare to have such a long friendship" Amanda said with her arms crossed.

Finished taking all the things he needed, Michael left the bathroom as Amanda gave way to him, "Well, aren't you and Jenny also the same? Your friendship is even longer than ours as it started during your childhood"

Amanda was suddenly taken aback and said, "Wait, how come you knew we were friends since childhood?"

Immediately halting in his tracks, Michael was also taken aback, but then his brain started working in overdrive as he turned to face Amanda with a huge smile on his face and said, "Well, didn't you…mention it to me before? Don't…tell me you forgot about it already?"

"I did? I couldn't seem to remember it though" Amanda said with a confused and thoughtful look on her face as she tried to scour through her memories.

Michael just smiled calmly and quickly tried to divert the subject away, "Yeah, but anyway, I need to quickly finish packing up as I don't want to be late babe. Mind helping me take the other luggages into my car?"

Amanda glanced at him, then scanned him from head to toe, before making her way towards Michael's room while mumbling, "But I don't seem to remember telling you about it though"

Michael rolled his eyes and thought, 'Yes, you did. You forgetful woman, but did she~?"

He smiled and then looked at the back of Amanda in front of him and thought, 'Hmm, I did hear a little piece of interesting news a couple of days ago, and it seems those two father and son bastards had finally run out of patience. The scheme against her shop is just the beginning, but more would be coming soon, and I'll make sure to take down those bastards the moment they even make one simple mistake'

'Killing them is too merciful, I will make sure to make them feel the same despair and horror I felt back then!'

Oblivious to the guy radiating killing intent behind her, Amanda kept on talking on and on about things not related to anything to them, but just everyday rumors going around their community.

Finally done with packing up the luggages inside the back of his car, Amanda suddenly grabbed Michael's arm and pulled him inside the house.

"W-what's wrong?" Michael said in confusion as he got pulled inside his place.

While breathing heavily, Amanda looked at Michael with a flushed face and said, "I'm horny, I want you to rub this itch first before you go, okay~?"

Michael gulped, and with a difficulty he looked to the side and said, "B-but, I'm gonna be late"

Amanda grabbed his face and turned it towards her, then she pulled down her neckline, showing a breathtaking sight that became even more desirable because of the sweat dripping down on it.
