Chapter 106 - Real Martial Artists

As the doors to the hall opened, the group of men was met by a silence so eerie that their hairs stood on end, and a chill ran down their spines.

They were all on high alert, and their bodies could not help but tremble slightly.

They sent a batch of people into the hall, but the majority stayed outside, only twenty went in, and all of them were armed with heavy artillery, such as light machine guns.

The twenty who walked into the hall observed the many different corners of the hall, but there were no people waiting for them inside.

Looking around, they became very uncomfortable, but they observed everything around them seriously to ensure that no one was hiding and plotting an ambush.

If an ambush was waiting for them inside, then they were helpless, but it was also risky to enter since explosives could have been placed in the structure of the building, and it could collapse at any moment Mo Yunhuang wished.

And that was precisely what happened, as the twenty men had reached the innermost part of the hall a resounding boom sounded outwards, and the building came crumbling down like a tower made from cards.

Wen Sihan's expression turned ugly. Not only had he lost twenty of his best men, but he had also lost all the equipment on them.

Seeing them like this, Lu Nanfeng was rather surprised, but he was not a saint. He did not have time to pity anyone; he was not even sure if he would be able to get out of this alive.

They continued forward, and slowly their numbers were dwindling as more and more died, however, they also got rid of quite a few members from the Organization, and their losses were more or less even.

Whenever they killed someone from the Organization, they took their equipment, as they never knew if one more or one less bullet would prove the deciding factor of who won the battle.

Finally, they reached the stronghold of the Organization's current base. Their group had seven hundred and ninety-six members left, so many lives were lost on the way that Lu Nanfeng was also starting to get a strange carefreeness with life and death.

As they arrived at the stronghold, Wen Sihan raised a hand in the air and looked around as all of them stopped in their tracks.

With a wave of his hand, two missiles were fired at the stronghold, and while it did cause two explosions, the building was still standing, and a group of men walked out through the flames alongside Mo Yunhuang in the middle.

Lu Nanfeng's eyes narrowed as he saw the person who had caused He Lixue such complex emotions, and a small flame of jealousy ignited in his heart.

Mo Yunhuang, who was surrounded by all his men, also noticed Lu Nanfeng, and just as the former, he also felt jealousy raging inside of him. Everything was Lu Nanfeng's fault.

If Lu Nanfeng did not exist, He Lixue would have come back to his side obediently, but now she wanted freedom, now she wanted to betray him, now she wanted someone else.

Even if she was unwilling, she would have no one else to depend on, and no one else to rescue her.

Although he had not planned on fighting with Wen Sihan just yet, he was aware that some things did not always go according to plan.

And since it had already come to this, then what was wrong with ending it sooner? So far, Wen Sihan had the upper hand, because he had managed to get rid of many of his lairs back in his own country, but as long as Mo Yunhuang reigned victorious today, then nothing else mattered.

Today was the final showdown. Today was the end of their fight.

Wen Sihan and Mo Yunhuang looked at one another, but Mo Yunhuang did not actually care about Wen Sihan so much. What he truly wanted was to torture Lu Nanfeng.

Jiang Wu, who stood by the side of Mo Yunhuang, could feel his killing intent, making even the air temperature lower, and sent his blood boiling. Mo Yunhuang was furious as he looked at Lu Nanfeng, it was clear that he was not happy, and he was going to release all his hatred today.

Wen Sihan and Mo Yunhuang lifted their hands simultaneously, and the sound of weapons being raised sounded out. Before Mo Yunhuang had the time to order his men to shoot, Wen Sihan had already done just that, and the first salve of shots was fired straight at Mo Yunhuang and his men.

A group of bodyguards were swift and stood in front of him, blocking him from the bullets, some were killed, others were wounded, and some were just hit on their bulletproof vests, so they stayed immobile in front of him like a mountain.

The Organization's men did not hesitate either, and they returned the fire in the same way as Wen Sihan's men had, and soon the smell of gunpowder was thick in the surroundings, alongside anguished wails of pain, and the heavy scent of blood.

These were the experts who could avoid bullets and knew how to truly fight. If one of them died, it would be a severe loss, even losing ten thousand men would not hurt as much.
