From the Soul Engine to the Ji Mechanized Douluo

Hey, let me sigh first, I still remember that I opened this book on April 1, 2004. Why do I remember it so clearly? Because this book was a Douluo fanfiction that I opened when I began to doubt myself.

Well. The original purpose of opening this Douluo fanfiction was very simple, that is, the writing style was immature, the original novel flopped, and then I wanted to open a Douluo fanfiction to put on the shelves to earn the 1500 yuan minimum living allowance. Well, this start is actually exactly the same as the mentality of my first novel "Give Douluo a Little Technological Shock", which was also for the purpose of earning a minimum living allowance.

But no matter what, this book saved me when I was in a writing slump. It made me understand that I should not lose confidence in myself. Success is never accidental, and believing in yourself is a very rare and precious power.

The preparation time for this novel was very short. I just took a look at a Douluo fanfiction written by a friend of the author, and then saw the three words "Soul Motive". So I made this decision without hesitation, using Soul Motive as the entry point, picking up some soul guide concepts from "Technology Shock", and then forming this Douluo fanfiction. So in terms of content depth, this book is not as profound as "Technology Shock". Because the main technology in "Soul Motive" is just a side technology mentioned casually in "Technology Shock". I even told other author friends that if I could continue to use a technology design from "Technology Shock" and put it into Douluo Dalu, I could write another Douluo fan fiction. Even though I haven't read Douluo Dalu yet.

But after two years of accumulation and precipitation, I still want to write something that I want to write. Of course, I can't say for sure, what if I want to eat the minimum living allowance and then come back to write Dou San? It's so uncertain (funny).

So after thinking it over again and again, I might choose to open a fan fiction of Super Seminary or create an original work.

I know that the recent anime plot of Super Seminary is a bit inexplicable and not well received, but I really like the epic tragedy of Super Seminary, which is a mixture of blood and rust when the surface civilization faces the invasion of the cosmic god-level civilization. In that kind of environment and atmosphere, I may be able to write more about my own feelings and thoughts. Because the original novel I am going to write is actually the story of the surface civilization experiencing iron and blood, and then slowly connecting with the extraordinary civilization. In this regard, the worldview of Super Seminary is very consistent with many of my ideas.

Of course, it is possible that it will fail, but if I had given up just because I was worried about failure, I might not have started writing two years ago.
