"Qi Shan, do you recall the appearance of the Immortal that imprisoned you in the past?" Jiang Ming stared at her and asked.

"Like do you remember his voice and what kind of techniques he used?"

Qi Shan shook her head in response. "If I had known what techniques he used, then I wouldn't have suffered a drastic defeat from his hand. Plus, he never even revealed himself in front of me."

And she continued, "All I recall was that I was heading toward our meeting area to begin our next exploration. However, a large hand that covered the entire sky started to grasp toward me. Of course, I have tried to resist with all my power, only to be futile."

"Did you not use your demonic bloodline to fight it?" Jiang Ming enquired.

Meanwhile, Qi Shan's expression darkened, almost like she didn't want to recall the traumatic experience. As a dignified princess of the demon king, she was imprisoned without being able to resist.

If such words were to get out, then she would really have no place to hide. She was known as the merciless and ruthless killer yet got her ass beaten to a pulp.

"Forget it, Jiang Ming. Let's not talk about that Immortal because I tried to ask my father about it when I finally came out thanks to your summoning." Qi Shan said melancholy.

Jiang Ming nodded his head. He already got a few clues about what had occurred, but there wasn't any evidence. Plus, he understood that no one would want to share their traumatic experience with anyone, including their close ones.

Sometime later, Jiang Ming grabbed her hand as they proceeded to leave the dimension. They had spent more than 20 minutes here already. Any longer and they might really be trapped in the dimension forever.

'Seems like that Shuang Shu woman had long left the dimension. Just how irresponsible could she be?' Jiang Ming thought.

Using the Gamer's Cube that was residing in his body, he manipulated the flow of energy in the dimension to travel out.
Meanwhile, Qi Shan embraced Jiang Ming from the back as she closed her eyes, trusting him completely. She could feel her body trembling slightly from the fluctuation, but she did not dare to open her eyes.

"Are we almost outside?" She asked timidly.

"Mhmm, we're about to be out," Jiang Ming whispered. With another increased movement, Jiang Ming had successfully left the dimension another few minutes later.

They reappeared at the same location where the testament of will was originally located at.

However, the testament of will had been shattered into numerous debris and there were zero people left on the scene.

Qi Shan finally opened her eyes and was dumbfounded.

"Where did your lover and the other people go?" She asked.

Jiang Ming remained silent for a few seconds as he activated his spiritual perception.

Within 100 kilometers from here, Jiang Ming spotted Yang Liqin and the other participants being surrounded by numerous magical beasts.

Though it doesn't seem like they were fighting since Yang Liqin was sitting leisurely on top of the Kractacle.

"Hmm, this is confusing." Jiang Ming muttered softly. He turned around and looked at Qi Shan, "You should leave the ancient ruin first and wait for me in the Moon Bazaar."

Qi Shan clicked her tongue in displeasure. "Am I that much of an eyesore that you want me to leave once you finish using me?"

Despite saying that, she unleashed her cultivation base and forcefully broke the structure of the ancient ruin to leave secretly.

With her cultivation base, an ancient ruin of this level was not enough to restrict someone of her caliber.

Just like how she could leave discreetly, she could also enter as she pleased. Hence, the other people did not know about her appearance since she doesn't need a quota to enter.


Once she left the ancient ruin, Jiang Ming showed a solemn expression.

'Qi Shan might not know this, but I feared that she might have been collateral damage from what was happening to me.' He thought, not wanting to drag her down further.

Shaking off his thought process, Jiang Ming hurriedly increased his pace to catch up to Yang Liqin.

When he arrived at the scene, Jiang Ming heard the participants talking among each other while deflecting the magical beasts.

'This doesn't look like a natural beast tide, but more of an artificial one.' He thought.

A natural beast tide was something that happened because of nature whereas an artificial one was something created on purpose by a person.

And to create an artificial beast tide, one would normally use the king of the beast to order the lowly magical beasts to go on a rampage.

'Aunt's Kractacle is clearly the boss of these lowly magical beasts, so this artificial beast tide was created by my aunt to extort these people's resources.' Jiang Ming concluded.

He couldn't help but feel proud to have such a meticulous aunt.

Without making any sounds, Jiang Ming casually appeared next to Yang Liqin.

"You are becoming more and more like me, aunt." He said cheekily, wrapping his arms around her waist.
