Chapter 605: Do You Want To Snatch My Saber?
The soldiers obeyed his order and put down their weapons. Only Carl and Tuskegee stood on the prow, swords in hand, ready for a friendly sparring.
"Are you ready?" Tarski asked.
Carl nodded, holding the sword in his hands with both hands, and facing Tarski. The swords of the two interlaced, and there was a crisp metal impact sound.
Their swordsmanship is very superb, and every move and style is frightening to watch. The soldiers on the boat held their breath and watched their sparring intently
Carl and Tarski are equal in strength and inseparable. However, Carl soon discovered a problem. His opponent didn't seem to be really fighting with him, but trying to find his weakness.
"Are you trying to find my weakness?" Carl asked.
Tarski smiled slightly at Carl's words. "You're smart, Carl," he said, "yes, I'm trying to find your weakness. But I'm not trying to catch you, I'm trying to make a suggestion to you.
"Suggestion?" Carl frowned.
"That's right." Tarski nodded, "I know you are an excellent swordsman, but your saber is not good enough. If you can give me your saber, I can help you build one A better sword."
When Carl heard this, a trace of vigilance flashed in his eyes. "You want to rob me of my sword?" he asked.
"No, no, no." Tarski waved his hand, "I just want to help you build a better sword and make your sword skills even better."
Carl's brow furrowed deeply, and he stared at Tarski, trying to gauge his true intentions. "I don't believe you." He said indifferently, "You must have some conspiracy to take my sword away."
"Carl, you misunderstood." Tarski tried to explain, "I have no conspiracy, I just want to help you."
"Stop it." Carl interrupted him, "I know your true purpose. You want to take my sword, you want to defeat me, and prove to everyone that you are stronger than me.
"Carl, your thinking is wrong." Tarski was still persuading, "I'm not fighting against you, I just want to help you become stronger."
"Leave me alone!" Carl's tone became angry, "I don't need your help, and I won't give you my saber easily!"
Tarski saw Carl's displeasure, and he knew that his words were no longer convincing. "Well, since you don't want to, then I won't force you." His tone became a little disappointed, "But, Carl, you have to know that my intention is good, I just want to help you.
"Stop talking!" Cal543's voice became more fierce, "I warn you, if you have any other attempts, I will strike without hesitation."
Tarski looked at Carl, knowing he had lost Carl's trust. He leaves silently, leaving an angry Carl behind.
Carl stood where he was, his heart filled with anger. He knew that Tarski was lying, and he would not easily believe other people's words. He gazes at the sword in his hand, which has been his companion for many years
is the source of his life. He decided that no matter what happened, he would not hand it over easily.
Carl felt a little uneasy. He knew that he might have some bad consequences if he rejected Tarski's offer.
