I walked calmly up to the stool and sat down with sorting hat on my head.

'You are the most peculiar case I have come across in more than 1000 years of sorting history, Mr. Canis. A world traveler, peculiar indeed. But you don't have to worry since I am not authorized to talk about a student with anyone unless the security of Hogwarts itself is in danger. Now where to sort you, you will do well in Slytherin, but since you don't want to be sorted there, then the obvious choice is "RAVENCLAW".

Happy with the tun of events, I skip over to Ravenclaw table and sat down with other younger students. I Ignore the rest of sorting since only students I need to pay any attention is Cedric Diggory who will go to Hufflepuff and Roger Davis, who will be in Ravenclaw with me.

Instead, I focus my attention on the staff table, I don't know what to think of Headmaster Dumbledore. While he came across a nice and grandfatherly old man in books, many fanfictions I have read make me wary of him. Whether good or bad, it still it does not change the fact that he is a powerful old wizard who likes to manipulate other for 'Greater Good' and keeps his cards close to his c.h.e.s.t until the right time. Like other matters, I will keep my attitude neutral towards him until I have more information to go on.

Other professors are the same as in books aside for DADA (whose name I won't bother to try to remember, he will be gone soon enough) and care of magical creatures.

After sorting was done Headmaster stood up and gave a speech. Afterward, the feast began and everyone started to eat. Food was a bit too heavy for my taste, but lately, after my magical core maturity, my appetite has grown, I am not complaining. After the feast was done, Headmaster gave a usual speech about banned materials, forbidden forest, and other rules.

We were guided by 5th-year prefects to Ravenclaw dormitory after the feast, where the head of house Filius Flitwick gave a welcoming speech. Everyone went to their own separate rooms afterward since it was already too late.

I found my room and went inside. My trunk was waiting on my bed. I unpacked my stuff and called it a night. I tried to sleep but I was too excited to do so.

So, I started about my goals for the next few years:

⦁ Abuse Room of Requirements to bring all the books on subjects not taught at Hogwarts i.e. Healing, Warding, Curse breaking, Alchemy, Ritual magic and Legilimancy and self learn them.

⦁ Use Room of Requirements to train for battles. Also for magical and physical exercises.

⦁ Be a top student with O+ every year.

⦁ Become Animagus.

⦁ Learn Apparition (Silent and instantaneous, ready to be used in battle) and to make portkeys.

⦁ Keep wandless magic and magical strength secret.

After listing all my current goals, soon enough sleep embraced me.
