Help! I don't want to NTR the protagonist!



Lucius heard this thundering voice, and he was left frozen stiff 

The presence and aura of an Ancient Dragon shook his soul to its very core 

"Bastard!  Since you destroyed everything I worked for, you will compensate me! Hand over your body!"

Lucius grit his teeth and tried to resist the overwhelming aura of the dragon, but he knew he couldn't do it alone.

Fortunately, things all went according to plan and the second the  Ancient Dragon made a move, a furious shout rang out!

"Worm! You dare covet my blood!"

The blood of the high king didn't contain anything as outrageous as the soul  of the High King or else, not only would the dragon's soul be easily dealt with, but even Lucius would be finished. 

He was a pesky human that had stolen the blood of the barbarian high king. He would be considered as just a much as a nuisance as the dragon soul it was going to fight!

What it did contain was the overpowering will of the High King that had kept its blood active for thousands of years.

It was this will that formed the giant phantom behind Lucius, and it was also this will that was trying to transform Lucius's body and it was also this will that was resisting the attack of the Ancient dragon.

Instantly the dragon was shaken, as the faint image of a giant dragon with both light brown and green coloured scales appeared behind Lucius as its soul was dragged out of Lucius's body 

Enraged, the dragon roared and lunged at the High King like a crazed beast.

But what was even more shocking was that compared to the dragon, the literal monster, the humanoid was the one that was more Vicious! 

A furious warcry sounded out as the High King smashed its fist towards the dragon with what could only be described as a battle frenzy.

Fist, nail and even teeth, this barbaric phantom started to tear the dragon apart.

The Ancient dragon wasn't vegetarian either. It tore back into the phantom of the High king like a man with nothing else to lose.

Seeing the ferocious battle Veronica was left stupefied, she stumbled backwards and fell on her ass as she watched a scene straight out of a dream.

Lucius may have also shown a similar reaction if he wasn't working extremely hard in just trying to maintain his sanity!

He wasn't even in the direction the conflict was aimed at. He was just a bystander in the middle and he was almost finished off 

The two phantoms fought crazily until all that was left was the strange image of a pool of blood as both phantoms were left completely annihilated

Just as Veronica thought the whole ordeal was over and was about to approach the injured Lucius, she quickly realised something was wrong

The pool of blood started to bubble, rising into the air and swirling wildly as it started to form the image of something sinister.

First, it was the countless scales that covered the huge monster, then it was the monster's huge limbs that were packed with overwhelming amounts of muscles that made it seem like it could crush mountains with ease as well as the dagger-like claws.

Eventually, the image solidified, and what was left behind was enough to scare any grown man.

Dragon!

What was formed was a giant, crimson, raging dragon!

But what was truly scary was the around behind this dragon 

The giant crimson eyes of the dragon scanned the area, seemingly lacking any sense of reason. All that remained was seemingly endless rage and desire for battle.

It was a dragon that seemed to be dominated by a strange aura of madness that wanted to destroy the world!

Fortunately, before such a horrifying thing could happen, the phantom of the giant dragon behind Lucius flickered and jumped straight into Lucius's body.

Instantly, Lucius's body started to twitch as his veins started to bulge and his body suddenly grew a few centimetres.

The combined amalgamation of blood formed from the mixing of the blood of the high king and the soul of the ancient dragon began to mutate and change Lucius's body in a strange direction as his  cells began another wave of transformation 

Suddenly, a familiar crimson lightning exploded all over Lucius's body, crackling all over his skin!

Rage state! 

This was the signature sign of a barbarian entering into its famous Rage state!

It was exactly the same as the sight Lucius had seen from Reina. 

No, on second thought, it was even more impressive!

What was shocking was that the lightning continued to pour out of Lucius's body to an even more ridiculous degree but instead of flowing wildly like crimson lightning before, this lightning started to group up and condense around his skin and slowly but surely these bolts of lightning condescend around Lucius body till they formed the solidified image of dragon scales. 

Yes! Right now, Lucius's body was covered in crimson dragon scales composed of pure lightning! 

  "Gulp!" 

Veronica looked at Lucius and was completely horrified! 

This Lucius looked more like a demon than any demon she had ever seen in her life!

Blackish red horns. Flickering lightning Scales that completely covered the body and clawed hands. But despite this fearsome appearance, what truly scared Veronica was not these ferocious looks. No, what scared her the most were those eyes. 

The two eyes that shone like torches in the night as they radiated an endless crimson light.

Amongst this eerie crimson light was a pair of barely visible pupils and as Veronica looked into the eyes, she did see a pair of sentient eyes, but that was it. 

The sentient eyes still seemingly lacked all sense of reason and were filled with utter madness and rage. 

  Lucius may have been able to notice Veronica's change in mental date if he wasn't so excited as he looked over his notifications! 

As this was happening, Lucius heard a new notification
