'Energy source?' Alex questioned in his mind as he looked towards the crystal.

The room was silent when the crystal started to illuminate, everyone was watching it, waiting for something to happen. Sir Fire has a big smile on his face when he looked at the crystal. "It can contain energy! I can't stop thinking of ways we can utilize this for our own benefits… But that makes me worried as well. A small crystal that has the capacity to carry energy being used by the reapers, I wonder why they have such a thing." Sir Fire froze for a second and looked towards Buster, a worrisome expression on his face, "Buster!"

Buster looked towards Sir Fire with a similar worried expression. Midnight also froze when she realized why the two were worried, "The military!" The three said in unison.

"The military?" Alex said In a confused voice, he had no idea why the three seemed so worried. Sir Fire nodded, "Yes, This will be troublesome. From what buster told me, Mary took a larger and more powerful reaper with her. With that reaper was another crystal, something bigger than what we have here…"

Buster looked towards Alex, "Alex, You see we don't really like the military… Their main objective is to get more power, get more land, and get more fuel. Essentially, war is everything that they do… So their reputation hasn't been the best. Doesn't mean that every member of the military is bad, It's just that they go through extreme means to do something. And well, It's still a theory in our mind but something that can hold energy can also combust the energy that is it holding… With something like this, I can say for sure that this crystal can be used as energy sources for new high tech weapons or even be used as weapons themselves… We've been trying to prevent the military from having this but this time, We were careless and they have a crystal…"

Alex didn't really understand what the problem was, "Aren't the military always supposed to be like that? They have to protect the country so getting more powerful is the best option for them, right?"

Buster nodded, "That is correct. I apologize for not explaining it properly, I forgot for a second that you didn't know the dynamics of this place. Essentially, the leader of the military is someone that we don't really like. If he gets more power, it's a bad thing. The only thing in his mind is power. It's obvious what happens when a power hungry man is in charge… The thing is, the politics is all filled with fakes, They are people protecting him so he won't be taken away from that post. So we've been trying to take away these power sources and reaper material from the military. I don't know why but the two of us blanked out and let Mary take that reaper…"

Sir Fire shook his head, "Well, there is nothing that we can do. Even if you said no to Mary, her powers would have let her get away with the reaper…"

Buster nodded and looked towards the crystal and said, "For now, we must have a question in our mind, Why did the reapers have this crystal. Looking at the shine it gives, I don't think that they were charged when the reapers had them… Which brings me to question, Did they come here to charge the crystal so that it could carry energy from our world and take the energy to their own world?"

Midnight nodded, "That does make sense, I don't see anything else as a reason for them to carry an empty crystal… I would have said that they would use it when they needed more energy to cast a spell but that's not possible because it's not charged at all."

Sir Fire nodded when he heard Midnight and Buster, "That is a reasonable explanation but we are not sure of the true answer yet. We need to do more research and more samples are needed… thank you three for everything you've done till now. I will make sure that your lot will be handsomely rewarded for everything, especially Alex, who has been through so much in a span of 2 days. For now, You can rest up in the facility break rooms. It's upstairs, Buster will take you. I will call you once I'm finished here. Then we will have to head towards The headquarters once more. The meeting will be held today for the urgency of the situations as well as the fact that the military has its hands on the crystal as well."
