Hogwarts: I am Voldemort

Chapter 44 The Marauder's Map

"Reparaturspruch~~"

Voldemort was speaking awkward German and using the repair spell, which didn't seem to work very well.

The yew wand just "popped" twice, and some yellow-purple light spots spurted out, but it did not form a complete spell.

"It's definitely a rhythm issue."

Professor Flitwick frowned and said, "You could try adding the accent to the front,"

Voldemort raised his wand again: "Re~paraturspruch~~"

"Puff~~"

The spellcasting was still fruitless, and the wand seemed to be mercilessly mocking the two professors.

The dining students watched from a distance and jeered, the oldest in Slytherin and the youngest in Ravenclaw - personally, Malfoy and the twins were equally outstanding.

"Don't do that, Senior Weasley." Hermione pouted and scolded, "That's our professor, we should respect him."

"Of course, Fred, would you laugh at a professor?" George asked his brother.

"Of course not. The powerful Professor Quirrell is working hard to learn the repair spell. He will definitely succeed... Hahaha..." Fred laughed heartily, and his brother catered to him.

Their words attracted Voldemort's attention. He glanced at the two of them, but didn't care - they had slapped him in the face in the book, and it really didn't matter if they laughed at them.

"The syllables are wrong."

Dumbledore came over and stopped in front of Voldemort's dining table. "The third node should be longer, and the ending should be smaller, like this: Repara~~turspruch~"

He said the curse and waved the Elder Wand gently, and the scraps of paper in front of Voldemort immediately turned into a piece of white paper.

"I didn't expect you to be proficient in German spells, Headmaster. If I had known I would have asked you for advice." Voldemort said, picking up the paper and tearing it open, ready to try it.

"I know a lot of German magic spells. If you need them, you can ask me."

Dumbledore said, staring at Voldemort's wand, waiting for him to cast a spell - it seemed that he wanted to give some advice to the professor he recruited.

"Repara~~turspruch~"

The spell blurted out, and the wand instantly shot out yellow-purple light. Voldemort succeeded.

"Excellent, your learning ability is very strong." Dumbledore praised, and at the same time glanced at the book in front of Voldemort - [The Troublesome Repair Spell].

"Are you studying this curse? Do you want to find that one?" He didn't say it clearly, but Voldemort understood what he meant.

"Yes, Headmaster, your guess is an inspiration to me." Voldemort put away his wand - he was always a little uncomfortable in front of Dumbledore.

"It's a good idea, but I didn't expect you to choose life magic."

After he finished speaking with a smile, he walked to his table and said, "Study carefully, I'm sure you will gain something."

"I will, Principal."

After Voldemort finished speaking, he sat down and began to eat.

During this period, Flitwick would discuss the repairing spell with him from time to time. It was obvious that he wanted to give his own understanding of the spell.

Voldemort listened carefully and got a lot of useful content from it.

"I really want to listen to your classes again, Dean, I think I graduated too quickly." Voldemort said half-complimentally, half-sincerely.

Flitwick just smiled at this and didn't say much.

After dinner, they went to class separately.

Voldemort's classes today are for third and fourth grade students, and this grade is the most difficult to teach.

The first and second grade students are still young and the teaching content is not complicated. The sixth and seventh grade students are mature and they know how to learn and grow.

Fifth grade students are special, and exam-oriented education is their specialty.

Only in the third and fourth grade, at a moderate age, both theoretical knowledge and practical abilities are in urgent need of improvement, and it is very troublesome to teach.

Fortunately, he had plenty of preparation time during the holidays, and Voldemort made detailed lesson plans, which allowed him to deal with everything easily.

But something happened in class today that once again earned him a nickname - the most vindictive professor.

The incident happened in the second class in the afternoon, which was a class for the third and fourth years of Gryffindor. Voldemort was teaching the fourth grade.

Opposite him was the third-year Gryffindor class, and the person explaining their lessons was his teaching assistant, Truman from Badger House.

The course went well. When Voldemort asked the fourth graders to practice spells, he called Truman over and asked him to help the fourth graders correct their mistakes, while he walked to the third graders.

"Let me see if Assistant Coach Truman has made it clear to you."

Voldemort said, and began to briefly talk about the knowledge points of this class. After about ten minutes, through interaction with the students, he determined that these people had learned the necessary knowledge.

"Very well, kids, start trying to get your classmate's wand. The Disarming Charm requires a lot of practice, otherwise it means nothing."

As he spoke, he walked toward the students and looked like he was about to remove desks and chairs—something he had done before in fourth grade.

But when he passed near the Weasley brothers, he suddenly stopped and picked up a piece of parchment on the two brothers' table.

"Oh, Professor, what are you doing?"

One of the two brothers stood up, but Voldemort couldn't tell who it was.

"I was in class over there, and I saw you guys studying this. Let me see what you did." Voldemort said, unfolding the parchment, but there was nothing on it.

The sitting Weasley was snickering. When Voldemort looked at him, he said seriously: "Professor, that's just a piece of paper. You don't think there's anything wrong with a piece of paper, do you?"

Voldemort's eyes lingered on the faces of the two brothers, as if he wanted to catch them, but he was somewhat helpless.

It was just a blank piece of paper, and it seemed like he really had no reason to punish the two of them.

"Then confiscate this paper, Brother Weasley, and don't stare at a piece of parchment in class next time."

Voldemort said angrily, which made him look angry.

"You can't, Professor, that's our homework sheet."

"Yes, Professor, you can have this if you want."

"Yes, that piece of paper has special meaning to us and we love it."

"We apologize and must pay attention next time..."

The two brothers seemed a little panicked, as if the piece of paper was very important, but Voldemort had quickly rolled up the piece of paper and put it in his arms.

"Special meaning? Is it a wordless love letter?" Voldemort sarcastically said, "That just allows me to practice the repair spell. You know it is very useless paper."

The two brothers became more anxious, but Voldemort didn't care at all. He just waved his wand to separate the tables and chairs, and then let the students practice fighting.

"He's taking revenge on you because of your ridicule this morning." Lee Jordan whispered to his two roommates - the Weasley brothers looked like they were mourning.

"It's too bad, that's important to us."

"Yes, we should find a way to get it back."

"Admit your mistake or apologize?"

"Yes, I'll try it right after class."

The two brothers came up with a solution and executed it immediately after class.

But Voldemort righteously refused, saying that this was a punishment for them not paying attention in class, but everyone could see that he was retaliating for the two of them laughing at him in the morning.

Because of this incident, Voldemort got another unpleasant nickname, but he didn't care at all.

Compared to the Marauder's Map, one nickname is nothing, he would change a hundred of them - this is something he urgently needs, and he is willing to pay more for it.
