The two of us looked at the menu.

“Thank you for waiting. Here are your cold drinks and hand towels.”

Then the same maid as before placed the items in front of us.

“Have you decided on your order yet?”

She asked me with a smile.

“I’ll have a regular iced coffee.”

“I’ll have an iced tea.”

“Me neither.”

“Understood.”

The maid left after taking our order.

“So this is what a Maid cafe looks like.”

Sara looked around.

“I was like that when I first came here. It’s fun to come here once in a while.”

“I see.”

While we were talking about this, the drinks we had ordered were brought in.

“Thank you for waiting. Here are your iced coffee and iced tea.”

The drinks were placed in front of us.

“Here we go. Then I’ll do a spell to make it more delicious: Please make it tasty, Moe Moe Kyun1.”

“Be Delicious, Moe Moe Kyun.”

I wondered if I would ever get use to this.

I was still a little embarrassed.

We both sipped our drinks.

“It’s nice to meet you. My name is Ako.”

A cute maid with shoulder-length black hair spoke to me.

“Do you two come here often?”

“No, I only come here once in a while to hang out with my friends, but she is new here.”

Sara turned shy when I said that.

“A maid cafe with your girlfriend? That’s nice!”

“Oh, does it look like that?”

“Am I wrong?”

The maid tilted her head.

“We’re brother and sister.”

“We’re siblings.”

“Oh, you’re brother and sister? You guys are so close!”

“Well, yes, we are.”

An hour was about to pass as I was conversing with the maids, observed them, and had a drink.

“Hey guys, it’s almost time for an extension, what do you say?”

“Can we have the bill?”

I asked Sara.

“Hai!”

“Then, let’s checkout.”

“Very well. I’ll go get it now. May I have the two of you come with me, please?”

“No problem.”

The maid went to the cash register.

“Here you go.”

The paper with the price written on it was handed to me.

“Hai.”

“Okay, I’ll take care of it. Do you want a receipt?”

“I’ll take it.”

I took the receipt.

“Let’s go, then.”

“Hai!”

“See you later! Goshujinsama, ojōsama!”

The maids saw them off and we left the maid cafe.
