Come to think of it, when I went to the movie theater with Sara, it was a romantic movie. I didn’t mind romantic movies either. If anything, it might be one of my favorite genres.

“Well, let’s choose some romantic movies.”

I always rented a few movies because they were much cheaper than going to the theaters.

Sara picked up a DVD; it was a story about the vocalist of a popular band and a fan who fell in love.

“Oh, that sounds interesting. Shall we watch it?”

“Hai!”

In addition to the DVD that Sara chose, I also chose a science fiction movie.

“Then I’ll go rent it.”

I headed to the rental check-out with the DVD that Sara had chosen.

“Please.”

“Yes, do you have your membership card?

“Yes.”

I pulled out my membership card from my wallet.

“Thank you, sir. Your rental will be valid for one week.”

“I understand.” with that, I picked up the DVD I had rented.

“Thanks for waiting.”

I said to Sara, who was waiting for me outside.

“Now, shall we stop at a convenience store on the way home and buy some snacks?”

After all, when you watched a movie, you would want to pick up something to eat.

We walked into a convenience store on our way home and threw some drinks and snacks into the basket.

“Is this enough?”

“Yes, I think we bought a little too much.”

I went through the cash register with a basket full of snacks.
