After waiting for a few minutes.

 

The drinks we ordered were brought out first.

 

“Thank you for waiting. Here’s your Coke.”

 

With that, the waitress placed the glasses of Coke in front of us.

 

“Arigato.”

 

I picked up my glass.

 

“Well, cheers to that.”

 

“Cheers.”

 

We clinked our glasses.

 

“Hah~, it’s good.”

 

I drank about a third of the Coke.

 

“Yes, it is.”

 

While we were talking about this, the meat was brought out.

 

“Here are your kalbi, harami, and horumonyaki.”

 

Then a plate of meat was placed on the table between the two of us.

 

“Can I go ahead and grill them?”

 

“Yes! Please.”

 

I grabbed the meat with the tongs and placed them on the mesh grill.

 

“Sara, are you the one who prefers to cook meat on both sides?”

 

“Well, yes, if possible.”

 

“Roger!”

 

I cooked the meat well on both sides.

 

“Here, this one is done.”

 

I said, and placed it on Sara’s plate.

 

“Thank you very much!”

 

“Sure.”

 

I, too, placed a bit on my own plate and took a bite.

 

‘Yeah, it’s yummy.”

 

‘Yes, it’s delicious!!”

 

Sara poured on some sauce and chewed the meat with a delightful smile. 

 

How adorable.

 

The smile on her face was so beautiful that even if she was my sister, I couldn’t help admiring it.

 

“I’ll cook next~”

 

“I’m sorry I left it to you.”

 

“It’s okay. I don’t mind it.”

 

I cooked the ribs earlier, so now I cooked the harami.

 

When both sides were cooked thoroughly, I placed it on our plates.

 

I was starving, so I proceeded to eat.

 

In the blink of an eye, all the meat we had ordered was gone.

 

“Nii-San, can I order some more?”

 

”Sure!”

 

Sara operated the tablet again.

 

“Nii-San, would you like to order something?”

 

“Can you handle spicy food?

 

“Hai, it’s fine.”

 

“Well, I think I’ll have a chige nabe1 and another Coke.”

 

“Understood!”

 

Sara operated the tablet and placed the order.

“Thank you for waiting. Here are your chige nabe and gyutan2.”

 

The chige nabe that I ordered, and the gyutan that Sara ordered were brought out at the same time.

 

The chige nabe came with two plates.

 

“If it’s too spicy for you, I’ll eat it.”

 

 I divided it into two portions for us.

 

“Yes, thank you very much.”

 

Then I grilled the gyutan.

 

While I was doing this, the waitress came over.

 

“It’s time for the last order. If you have any additional orders, please let me know.”

 

“Oh, is it that time already? Is Sara good with this?”

 

“Yes.”

 

Sara nodded.

 

“We’re good.”

 

“All right.”

 

We finished the rest of the meat and chige nabe, then decided to pay the bill.

 

I took the bill and went to the cashier.

 

“Thank you very much. Your bill will be 6,340 yen.”

 

“Yes.”

 

I took out a 10,000 yen bill and 340 yen from my wallet.

 

“Your change will be 4,000 yen.”

 

“Yes, thank you.”

 

“If you don’t mind, please take some gum for your companion as well. Thank you very much.”

 

After receiving the change and gum from the cashier, I headed for Sara, who was waiting outside.
