Episode 45 – Unbelievable ~Iori’s POV~

A refreshing morning turned into the worst morning ever with a single message.

[Iori, Look at the school SNS !]

The message was from my childhood friend, Koutaro. He’s  always looking out for me for some reason.

I did as he asked and opened the SNS.

“What is this !?”

I shouted unintentionally.

The posts on the school SNS were filled with pictures of Naru and Aika, as well as pictures of  Naru and Yui.

I picked up my phone and immediately tried to contact Naru, but I thought of not doing it.

I knew that if I didn’t meet him and talk to him in person, I would create a misunderstanding.

I got ready and headed to our usual meeting place.

“Naru, what do you mean by this?”

I was going to ask more softly, but when I saw Naru’s face, I got really angry.

“I’m sorry, Iori, but there is a reason for that……”

Reason? I was even more annoyed by Naru’s apologetic attitude.

“I told you that I don’t tolerate cheating, didn’t I?”

“Yes……”

“Then what is this? Not only with that girl, but with Yui as well…..what in the world have you been doing?”

Seriously, what is he doing? Even though Yui is the club member and my best friend.

“You have to explain it to me okay…….”

“Yes….”

I asked him about the situation with Aika. It was frustrating, but I thought it was inevitable.

“I see…. I got it. From now on, you have to tell me first”

“Yes.”

“So, what about Yui?”

In the pictures, both of them were in uniform. After parting with me, it means that the two of them secretly met.

“I’m sorry Iori, I can’t tell you, I think Yui san has something to say.”

He said he can’t tell me….my frustration has reached its peak.

“Huhhh? what do you mean by that.”

“I have nothing to hide, so please believe me.”

“So what does that mean !”

“I’m sorry, Iori, I promised to Yui san.”

“Pachin——n.”

He’s the worst.

That’s not the answer I want to hear.

I don’t want to doubt my best friend and my boyfriend. So I just want to know the truth as soon as possible…….

I want to hear it from Naru’s mouth, not from Yui.

Why can’t you understand my feelings?

What do you mean by “promise”?

How can I believe that you’re not guilty?

Why are you hiding things from me?

“Unbelievable, enough !”

I couldn’t stop being upset.

I didn’t want to see Naru’s face for a while.
