Kyomi's POV:

I slowly looked up , unable to bring myself to believe that it was indeed Dante that was speaking to me .

A small gasp escaped from my mouth at his close proximity , I'd never been this close to him before , in fact I'd never been this close to any man before . His earthy green eyes promised danger and pŀėȧsurė all at once while still looking unbelievably gorgeous . His eyes were digging deep into my own , openly staring while his lips twitched to give a smile that resembled that of a smirk . It was the most beautiful sight ever .

God , what was wrong with me ? When did I ever let any guy manipulate my thoughts like this ? In fact , why was I still glued to my spot . I shouldn't even be anywhere near Dante Clarke . My father would have my head if he only knew !

I cleared my head , trying my best to ignore his eyes on me or his manly scent that had somehow managed to already engrave itself into my memory .

Totally ignoring his earlier words , I quickly side stepped him and moved away . If the driver arrived and saw me standing talking to Dante he would surely announce it to my family , for my father had already told the driver to report everything he saw to him .

Without any warning whatsoever Dante reached out and gripped my shoulder with his hand . I gasped , his hand burning into my skin and causing goosebumps all over my body . My breath was coming faster and faster and I couldn't explain what on earth was happening to my body .

I was disappointed in myself . By just one touch , really ?

I pulled away from his touch and spun around with narrowed eyes . "What is wrong with you ?" I demanded angrily .

I was more angry at myself than at him but he didn't need to know that .

He quirked a brow at me , seeming the least bit bothered with my outburst . "What is wrong with me ? I came to have a normal conversation with you and you were nothing but rude , walking off without even saying hi . "

I narrowed my eyes even further . "I'm a Palmer , you're a Clarke . We don't say hi to each other . EVER."I snapped . "And you're not new in this town , you know how my father is , you know what he does to me and the man that tries to talk to me . Then why would you even try to talk to me ? Why would you do that after knowing everything ? Why would you even do that knowing that our families hate each other ? " I asked . " You haven't once tried to talk to me before , so then why now ? WHY?" I demanded .

He took a step closer to me , until his face was inches away from mine . Totally surprising me he leaned down further until his lips were directly above my ear , his cool breath making my body shiver . "Because , Kyomi Palmer , I've suddenly decided that .... I .WANT .YOU."
