~KYOMI~

I stared at my father in shock. This was the first time he'd ever laid a hand on me, there were times he'd gotten really upset but he's never once hit me before.

The crowd had gotten dead quiet as everyone looked on at the exchange happening between us.

"F-father—"

"What were you doing alone with a Clarke?" He demanded, looking at me as though I were a traitor.

What did I say?

If I spoke the truth that would be the end of everything, he would hate me for life.

"Dominic." My mother called, I looked behind my father to see her approaching us, I hadn't even noticed her there before this. "I think we should have this discussion at home, not here in front of everyone." She told him quietly.

He totally ignored her as he focused his cold gaze on me. "Tell me what you've been up to Kyomi, do not let me ask you again." He threatened.

I didn't know what to say, not when everyone was staring at me. How did I explain anything like this? Whatever I said from here onwards would only anger my father further for it all ended with me having a physical relationship with Dante. After I admitted to such a thing, my father would surely kill me.

So I chose to remain quiet.

"Hand me the tablet." He told my mother as she stared at him in shock.

What was going on here?

"Gabriella." He said my mother's name. "Hand me the device now."

I watched as my mother slowly took the tablet out her purse and gave it to my father.

What I saw next almost made me faint on the spot.

There were photos of Dante and I from earlier today at the beach. Photos of us kissing, photos of his hands all over my body.

Suddenly I couldn't breathe.

How could this have possibly happened? I didn't understand a thing, what was going on here? I felt like the entire universe was against me.

"What are these?" He asked me. "How could you embarrass your family like this?" He demanded roughly.

"I-I'm sorry." I cried. "I didn't mean for this to happen, it wasn't like that—"

I stopped mid sentence as my father raised his hand to hit me again. I stared at him completely terrified as his hands came down, I closed my eyes and waited for impact however none came.

When I opened my eyes, I was left more shocked than before.

Dante's hand was holding down my father's, preventing him from hitting me and my dad looked like he wanted to murder him for it while Dante looked extremely pissed, in fact this was the first time I've ever seen him look this angry.
