I saw the moment my father agreed with me and felt myself relax a little.

"Boys." He suddenly announced. "We're going to the Palmer's residence. Prepare yourself."

I didn't need to be told twice, without another word I was already inside grabbing my bike's key off the key holder.

"Where's everyone going?" Violetta asked as she motioned to the rest of my brothers who were also grabbing their bike keys.

"We're going to snatch Dante's wife." Mateo answered her while my other brothers chuckled.

"What nonsense are you guys speaking off now." She said annoyed. "I could never ask a simple question and receive a proper reply from you fools."

"Then why do you even bother asking?" Fabio teased as she pelted a shoe his way.

"It's a good thing father never allowed her to hold a gun, she can't aim to save her life." He added, pointing at the shoe that Hugo had caught in his hands before it hit his face.

"Whatever, I'll just ask mother what on earth is going on around here, she's the only one that will actually tell me." She announced before storming off.

"You good?" Hugo asked, studying me closely while grabbing his leather jacket off the couch.

I nodded. "I just don't like the idea of knowing she's in so much trouble because of me, I didn't think things would go this bad or that it would happen right in front of me."

"You seem like you care about her already." He noted.

"Of course not." I disagreed. I didn't go weak for any woman, there was only one woman I cared about and she'd left a long time ago. "I just don't like the idea of an innocent girl getting hurt because of me, she doesn't deserve the treatment she's getting from her father... she's a good girl."

Hugo nodded in understanding. "I understand, hopefully all goes well when we get there. I can't guarantee it going well though, we already know how Dominic is and he hates our guts, it's going to be a long day."

He was right, I believe Dominic hated our family more than we hated his. He wasn't going to let this go easily, but our family wasn't one to back down from a fight.

I wanted Kyomi Palmer and I was going to get her, not even Dominic would be able to keep her from me.
