I, Who Got Transported to Another World with the Strongest Cheat, Quit the Knight and Went on a Jour

Alaine kicked the ground and just with that kick alone, she was able to gouge the ground, creating another crater. 

“HA!!”

Alaine charged the dragon at such a terrific speed that it was difficult to follow her movement with my eyes. Then, she easily severed the ancient dragon’s leg. 

The greatsword Alaine used was pretty big however, the greatsword itself was not big enough to be able to sever an ancient dragon’s thick leg. But… She was able to sever it off. 

I don’t even understand how. She’s Alaine. That’s why it’s possible. As simple as that. 

“Groa?”

The ancient dragon failed to understand what had just happened. The ancient dragon fell just like that, still remaining oblivious. But, no matter how bad it was, this thing was still an ancient dragon. This dragon was not that weak to die helplessly just like that without showing any reaction. 

“GROARRRRRRRRRRRR!!!”

The ancient dragon opened its mouth wide and then, the dragon shot out its fire breath. The fire breath aimed at Alaine was hot enough to distort the space. The fire the dragon released kept on burning the entire cave. The fire bursted out from the cave toward the mountain, giving the representation of the flame’s hell itself. It was like a volcano eruption but well… There was no magma or smoke or any pumice. 

“Hm!”

But that fire breath was nothing for Alaine. Alaine looked very calm and composed in the middle of that fire. She then advanced forward and swung her sword once again. 

“GROAR!!!”

The ancient dragon was somehow able to withstand Alaine’s attack by using magic to raise its defense.

“Hm. It’s harder than I thought. I need to use a little bit more force in my next attack.”

“GROARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!”

Panicking, the ancient dragon shook its big body, trying to blow Alaine away, who was standing near it. 

“Hm.”

Alaine looked behind the dragon’s back for a bit. At that moment…

FLAP!

The ancient dragon flew. It was trying to run away. Higher and higher the dragon flew, trying to escape. 

“Gra.”

“Hm?”

I locked eyes with the ancient dragon that was still flying higher and higher. 

“Not me. Under you.”

Seeing that the ancient dragon was trying to attack me with its breath, I told the ancient dragon that while pointing down. Under the ancient dragon, Alaine was standing on her ground with her greatsword ready. She was channeling a huge amount of magic power  into her greatsword. 

“Here I go.”

The blade of the greatsword became greatly extended because of the magic power. The blade was also shining. Just like that holy sword, the Excalibur. 

“Heavenly Sword.”

Alaine swung her greatsword downward.

“GROARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!!”

Alaine’s attack easily cut the dragon into two. The dragon fell toward the ground. 

“Oops.”

Riding on top of the falling dragon, I descended down to where Alaine was. 

“Thank you for your hard work.”

“Hm. It’s been a while since I last used Heavenly Sword. I feel so refreshed.”
