I Will Conquer The World!

"W- What?", the man stuttered due to the harsh and outright response of the king.

Harry said calmly, "No. If you try it again, your head will explode. Do you want that?"

The man's eyes became dull again as he uttered a soft 'oh'.

Harry said with a smile, "Your life is more important than the knowledge. At most, you can just slowly learn it from John. If you die, who will take care of your family?"

The man thought about it and felt that what the king said was true. If he lived, he could eventually gain the knowledge, though a bit slowly. He could also feed his family if he just followed what their leader said anyway as he had that amazing knowledge.

He was floating in his thoughts when he felt a sharp pain pierce his head. He kneeled on to the floor as he groaned, "AGH!"

Harry was slightly shocked, but he calmed down due to Rae's explanation.

"Don't worry. That's just a side effect. He will have those headaches for a few days as he failed the knowledge assimilation process.", she explained.

Harry repeated word to word of what Rae said to both John and Catherine.

Both of them calmed down too and helped him up.

But then, John asked a question that put Harry into deep thought.

"Your Majesty, will they believe us? After all, he did not gain the knowledge and is experiencing extreme headaches, and it's known that Catherine usually supports me even if there's a small sign of logicality in what I say."

"Which is extremely rare.", Catherine said due to which John's face became slightly flushed.

Harry slightly smiled due to their antics and was about to say something when Catherine interrupted him by saying.

"But I think they mostly will. After all, even though John's words may contain no logic most of the time, everyone knows that he tells them only for their good. And since we both are the most trusted in the association, they will most likely believe it if we both say about it together."

Harry said, "But I'll tag along anyway, observing from the sidelines. I'll help you out if anything goes wrong."

Rae screamed into his head, "That's the stupidest decision you can make! What if they get angry and try to kill you?!"

Harry laughed and said, "Two things, I only said I'd help if something goes wrong. And, kill me? That's drastic isn't it? I'm talking about just watching what would happen."
