At this stage, Chu Jung should be worried that the girl would wake up and withdraw his hand this minute. But strangely, his finger didn't budge from its place as if it had found its home.

Ashley's expression while 'eating' his thumb looks so cute. He knew Ashley was older than him, but she looked like a child in his orphanage munching on a lollipop right now.

But it seemed that the girl was not feeling stuffy, so Chu Jung did not lift his guardian beast's tail and just stared at the girl without boredom.

Somehow he felt he didn't need sleep to replenish his energy. Just looking at the girl's sleeping face alone, he found himself beginning to recover gradually.

Reflexively, Alpha's tail shifted closer to cover Ashley while Chu Jung instantly stood up and put on a fighting pose and a tense expression once he sensed someone's presence by controlling the wind around them.

It was only the yellow king.

"I saw it," stated Harmonie with a mischievous smile he had never seen before.

Chu Jung tilted his head entirely, not understanding why the yellow king asked him this.

"Never mind. I'll be a fool not to notice that you didn't realize it. Of course, what do you expect from a snotty teenager."

Chu Jung huffed in annoyance hearing this. "Aren't you just a kid yourself?"

"I might be one, but I have the memories of the previous yellow king. In this case, I am the most knowledgeable person here."

Chu Jung rolled his eyes lazily hearing that.

"Have you found the Vectis yet?" this time, it was Alpha who asked.

"Not yet. But I found interesting information. I want to discuss it with you. And you, the red king. Wake up, that beautiful sister. If she sleeps on hard ground like this a little bit longer, her back will hurt."

Without waiting for Chu Jung's answer, Harmonie walked casually into the cave where Max and Chleo were resting.

Harmonie explained what she obtained when she infiltrated the one-horned Vectis area.

None of Vectis could see her nor feel her presence thanks to Bai Yu's skill.

On the other hand, Bai Yu changed his form disguised as a typical animal pet of the place. Its shape was like a cat, but it had two small horns on its head, and its ears were quite pointy, and they were sticking out.

They entered into a tavern or what the human would call a minibar. They sat there for several hours while watching this realm's residence's activities.

That's when they saw their horns lit up, indicating they were communicating with each other through their horns. It was pretty systematic but troublesome for Harmonie.

At this rate, they couldn't get any information if those Vectis kept communicating with their horns.

The Gale Master glanced at Bai Yu, and without being explained further, Bai Yu channeled his energy's wave sneaking into the frequency of the flaring horn.

From there, they could gather the information they needed to know.

Well, they didn't find any meaningful information as none of Vectis here knew about Yuna's Vectis. 

In other words, their research quest was quite pointless.

Word spread quickly that a Vectis was locked up in an imana-retaining log in the northern mountainous area.

"Maybe he's the one we're looking for," added Harmonie

"Northern mountains? Isn't that the hottest place in this realm?" Max recalled the info about this realm from Fye before he breached the portal.

"Yes. Hence, I, the red king, and that big sister there will be going to save him. You and Chleo just wait here."

"Ashley? Is she coming with you too?" Chleo became worried that her friend had to come with them.

"What? Why should I come with you?"

"There are many things. First off, we don't know what Vectis face you're referring to. So if you come with us, it will help us identify the Vectis we're looking for. Then the second, if you are here with the blue king, Max will be unable to protect you both if something unexpected happens. You're much safer with us than here."

Chu Jung tilted his head then glanced at Max. He couldn't believe that Max would be unable to protect two humans at once.

Maximillian himself didn't understand why the young Gale Master uttered a sentence as if underestimating his strength. Moreover, he had lived in the human world for almost a century. He mastered the ability to analyze and strategize in combat.

There was no way Max would be overwhelmed by protecting two humans at once in case of a surprise attack from the Vectis.

After all, he has two triumph cards from his ability. The first, he could just freeze all Vectis into ice statues, then the second, he could take Chleo and Ashley away with his teleport.

A very trivial matter, actually, so Max didn't understand why the Gale Master would state it as if he couldn't protect two humans at all.
