Ice Prince: Rewrite The Star

Chapter 281 - Ch. 281 Asian Little Girls

At Seattle University, there was great joy as senior students were celebrating graduation with their friends and family.

It has been almost a year since Chleo's abduction to the Vectis realm. Today was the perfect day as Chleo has officially graduated from this campus and was back as a Chleora Regnz, the eldest daughter of a Vincentius Regnz.

As promised, Chleo let her father host a friendly banquet to introduce her to his business partners.

After having a party with Evie and her friends in Seattle, Chleo packed her clothes because she was returning to New York tomorrow.

Chleo didn't want to get on a plane because it was more practical to use Max's teleport ability, which could immediately move to New York with just a snap of a finger.

But Chleo didn't want to make her friends suspicious, so Chleo had no other choice but to board a plane as one of her friends tagged along to New York.

Besides, Max was accompanying her, so she wouldn't mind enjoying some time with her boyfriend.

However, she never expected her father to order her to get ready when she arrived at the New York airport. Her father did not want to wait any longer and was eager to announce to all his business partners about his daughter immediately.

Many were curious about Chleo. Moreover, some people desired to make The Regnz their in-laws, so they were all enthusiastic about meeting Chleo.

Chleo didn't like being the center of attention or standing in the spotlight. She prefers to hide her identity when outside.

Chleo didn't mind appearing in public, but she didn't want her picture to be spread all over the world. She would be uncomfortable, noticing many eyes staring at her anytime.

However, this stubborn father secretly put a spy on her campus and reported everything that happened to Chleo while studying there.

Vincent had said nothing because he had promised not to interfere in Chleo's personal affairs during her college years. But the older man had listed the names of those who had been kind to Chleo and who had taunted Chleo.

Ashley Gray was on the list of people who bullied Chleo, but at Chleo's request and Ashley's change in attitude, Vincent removed Ashley's name from the list he wanted to punish.

Because Vincent had kept his promise not to interfere too much in Chleo's life, like it or not, Chleo also had to keep her promise and attend this first-acquaintance party.

Chleo felt like she was attending a trial where she would be judged. If the result were satisfactory by being kind, many people would approach her to persuade her to become their daughter-in-law. But if she failed, not only would she become a laughing stock, she would sully her parents' names.

Well, Chleo didn't have to worry about someone making a move on her, considering Max would definitely stand by her side all the time.

However, this would be the first time she had attended a party attended by her father's colleagues. She was worried that she would act foolish and bring shame to her family.

The good news was that Stanley and his family would come to America per Cathy's invitation.

At least she would be able to meet Harmonie and the two twin boys.

Chleo was sitting pretty in front of the dressing table while a make-up artist was dolling her up.

Knock. Knock.

Chleo allowed anyone to enter because she knew that a family member was in front of her bedroom door.

"Chleo?"

"Hi, Kenken. Why are you pouting like that?" Chleo could see the pouting boy, well-dressed with a bow tie around his neck. His face was super duper gloomy which rarely appeared on Kendrich's bright face.

"Dad told me to be a babysitter."

"You're an older brother. Of course, you would have to take care of your sister. It's common knowledge."

"That's not what I mean. The girls from Hongkong."

"Hong Kong? I didn't know that my father also invited someone from Asia."

"Well, they are Uncle Darrel's acquaintance, and their parents left them at my house."

"I see."

"They are here right now."

Chleo chuckled as she saw the boy who had just turned thirteenth had despair on his face.

"They are now? Can I meet them?"

Kendrich's eyes lit up at Chleo's question, making Chleo almost burst out laughing.

Kendrich was indeed a cheerful child, but he didn't like playing with much smaller kids. He only wanted to play with his two younger sisters or play with his friends.

Due to this reasoning, Chleo immediately knew why Kendrich came to her room. That boy hoped that Chleo would replace him to accompany two girls so that he could play elsewhere.

"I will call them." Kendrich quickly dashed to the ground floor, where two girls were sitting sweetly waiting for him.

"Come, come with me. I want to introduce you to my favorite big sister!" Kendrich exclaimed cheerfully, making the two girls look at each other in confusion.

Then the older sister took her sister up the stairs to the second floor. They followed Kendrich obediently without making a sound.

As soon as the door opened, Chleo asked her make-up artist to take a break. Her body was starting to ache because she had to sit in the same position for almost two hours. She wanted to take a short break to greet these two cute Asian girls.

"Hi, my name is Chleora Regnz. What are yours?"

"Good evening, big sister Chleora, my name is Michelle Wong, and this is my sister, Qiao Anxia."

Michelle Wong and Qiao Anxia? Aren't they sisters? Why did they have different last names? Chleo couldn't help but wonder but kept it inside her heart.

Michelle Wong was a little girl aged around eleven to twelve. Her face was charming, her demeanor was very polite, and her voice was melodious.

"Xiao Xia, say hello, please." urged the older sister to her younger one.

"Good evening, big sister." stated the little one with a shy look and tried to hide behind her big sister's back.

Chleo smiled when she heard the greeting from this cute little girl.. Anxia was so adorable that Chleo wished to have a little sister like Anxia.
