- Karen's POV -

It had been a few days now since Austin had returned. Now known as Rose she was directly within my strike zone, although I'd have to admit I've never had any experience with snake women before to be honest. 

With this new physical attraction came feelings I'd largely ignored in my previous life because of my sexual orientation. Specifically I mean my emotional attachment to the formerly male Rose/Austin. In my life I'd only ever really loved one person, sure I'd dated countless women in the years since leaving high school but they'd all been looser affairs with no real attachments on either side. Well, on my side at least. I'd be lying if I said that all of the women I'd dated had been entirely happy with how friendly I'd continued being with my ex-boyfriend turned occasional sex toy. Some of them had been downright livid at the idea that they had to share me with someone they believed shouldn't have anything to do with my love life. Some of them had been even more turned off when they realized that I cared for said heterosexual male more than my so called girlfriends. Not sexually of course, I'd learned that years before afterall. But emotionally I was still completely infatuated with Rose/Austin. Hell I'd even had fantasies about him somehow becoming the girl of my dreams despite knowing how impossible such an event was. Of course I'd completely ignored the implications of what that meant for my feelings, largely believing it to just be some odd fetish of mine rather than my emotional mind trying to justify my non-existent attraction for someone I had such strong feelings for.

Which is why this current situation was perfect.

[Quiet... stay completely silent...] - Karen

Yes, perfect. It wasn't like I was sneaking my way from the bathroom I was currently staying in towards the lightly snoring pile of adorable snek that was the love of my life. No I'd never be caught dead being a sneaky snek like that. Which is why I couldn't get caught of course. Heh.

- Next Morning - Karen's POV -

[Does anyone know why my bed is wet?!? Did we spring a leak somewhere?] - Rose

[Mmhm...] - Malaise

[Hey I know you're not a morning person Mal but you could do better than that.] - Veronica

[...] - Shade

[Mah!] - Malaise

Smirking to the backdrop of my bickering friends and the sleepy eyed foxgirl I froze at the stare from the only one I felt nervous around, Shade. Feeling a non-existent cold sweat break out I avoided the piercing eyes of accusation coming from the Shapeshifter and only let out a breath when she gave me an almost imperceptible nod before turning back to her morning routine as I thanked every God in creation and swore to be more careful the next time I snuck into bed with Rose. Now to make sure no one ever suspected the horny lesbian slimegirl, aka Me.
