“How does your head hurt?” 

“It doesn’t hurt.” 

“I heard from your lady-in-waiting that you said that you feel tired and sluggish. How are you feeling? 

“I’m fine. Luna was just making a fuss.”

When asked by the priest, I answered firmly, like an iron wall. I answered without thinking too much this time so that the situation doesn’t escalate again. 

When I said firmly that I was not sick, the priest was silent for a moment. 

In addition, I was now standing up straight and looking as healthy as I could. I want them to see that I didn’t look tired or sluggish.

I was thinking to myself that I had won the rare silent attitude of the priest. He looked normal so  I thought there would be nothing left to say.

But the new priest, as usual, was a strong opponent that exceeded my expectations.

The priest’s serious voice made me stare at him blankly.

“You said you don’t feel any pain, but is that really true?”

The eyes of the new priest shook. Of course, my eyes were shaking alongside him. 

Something was going wrong.

“Yes, I see.” 

“Excuse me?”

I called him in a hurry, but the priest was already lost in his thoughts and was not listening to me.

“What do you mean?”

The lady-in-waiting who came in with the priest asked the priest with a serious face. 

It was natural that she, who has been intensively taking care of me with Luna at Lionel’s order, jumped to conclusions when she heard I had a problem. 

But the presence of another maid in the present situation made it even more hopeless.

Now if the priest were to talk nonsense, it would be delivered directly to Lionel through the lady-in-waiting. 

“Wrong.”

I cut off the conversation in a hurry, but no one was paying attention to me.

He monopolized everyone’s attention instead of me 

The priest answered with a serious look.

“I’ve seen these kinds of patients from time to time before. There were some cases in which those who are seriously ill could not feel the pain. You feel pain when a signal is sent to the brain. But because you can’t endure the terrible pain, you unconsciously block the signal transmission.” 

“Is that possible?”

The priest was already convinced.

“A twisted soul must be accompanied by terrible pain. I think you’ve come to that point because you’ve already been under a lot of curses. But you wouldn’t know that, so of course, you must’ve felt better than before.” 

“As such!” 

“That’s why you kept saying it was okay!”

The lady-in-waiting and Luna stumbled in shock. 

Despite such reactions from those around him, the priest maintained a very professional attitude and showed a serious expression.

No one seemed to believe that he was spouting utter nonsense. In my eyes, it was very detestable.
