The alarm rings for a while before he struggles to turn it off. He sleeps for a while longer until the sunlight escaping through the window falls on his face.

He grumbles as he gets out of bed. ( I think I've brought my lazy attitude with me to this world. But nevertheless, it was a hectic day, yesterday)

He takes his bathe and puts on a red T-shirt with a black Jean. Then he calls out the stat tables....

He grabs his phone and dials a number.

**RING**

"Hello, who's this?", came the voice from the other side.

" Huh, it's Barry speaking, sorry for disturbing you early in the morning Cisco", Barry scratching his forehead.

" Hey Barry, no offense taken. So why did you call me, huh? ", Cisco asked

" Can you build a treadmill? I don't mean a normal one here. I'm talking about one that can handle the type of speed I possess ", Barry asked.

" I guess so. Why do you need a treadmill?" Cisco asked.

" You know, I might come across some powerful meta-humans and I might not be able to keep up with them. Better to train adequately now don't you think? ", Barry said.

" Alright, I should be done in two days time", Cisco replied

" Thanks buddy" Barry said and disconnected the call. He checks the time on his phone, 7:20.

(Still plenty of time before work I guess. Lemme explore this power a bit. )

He gets outside his house and walks for a while until he finds an empty alley.

He enters the alley and confirms that nobody is watching him. He immediately sets off, running at insane speed around the city.

He seems to be enjoying himself, he runs for a few more seconds.

Then out of nowhere, a bus comes out of a street perpendicular to his direction.

( Although I heal fast, this is gonna hurt)

He tries to reduce his break but couldn't do that in time.

He closed his eyes expecting to collide with the bus. Then he felt cool all over.

( Did I just phase through the bus? )

He was still thinking about this when suddenly, his clothes caught on fire.

(Damn, I should have worn the suit. )

He immediately put off the clothes and ran back home.

He changes into a new cloth and decides to go to the police station.

As he was about to leave, he heard a *ding* in his head.

( A notification from the system, wonder what it is for)

( Quantum Tunnelling?. All this science language is killing me. That means I can phase through objects now. Cool!!! )

Time to go for a test drive. He moves back a few metres and then shoots out at superspeed moving straight towards the wall

He slams against the wall.

" Well nothing is achieved until you experience failure a few times ", he said

He prepares to have another go.

10 minutes later....

I've had enough of this. This is the last time I'll give it a go. If i didn't have rapid recuperation, I'll have been in the hospital by now.

He goes back, stretches a little.

Then he pushes his feet against the floor and accelerated at insane-like speed towards the wall. He begins to vibrate his body very fast.

As he was about to hit the wall. He closes his eyes.

When he opens it, he finds himself in the street. " It finally worked!! That's a relief "

He quickly looks sideways to make sure no one was watching. " Nobody in sight. I'll make sure to be careful next time. Wouldn't wanna complicate things..." he said.

He hailed a cab and entered.

"Central City Police", he said.
