Description of House

As you enter from the front gate you could see a shoe rack at the side of the entrance

and a staircase at the left side attached to the wall.

On the right side, we had a door for combined dining and living room with an open well-furnished kitchen on the rear side.

We had a dining table near the kitchen and some space in between then sofas on the living side facing Television.

Living cum dining room was decorated with flower pots at the corners.

Behind staircase we had two rooms one in which I used to live at my school days, and one for my parents. Alongside room there was a toilet and a bathroom.

On the first floor we had two rooms, one rooms just above the living area and one room on the staircase side.

We didn't had any toilets or bathroom on the first floor so for accessing toilet one had to come to ground floor

The room that Ana got was pretty spacious, but she had to share her room with her little sis.

In her room, there was a double bed covered with a beautiful bed spread

Next to it was a small square table with a cup and a pitcher filed with water upto the brim.

Opposite to bed there was a window and near window there was a desk and chair for studying.

We also had a garden, where I along side with mom used to do gardening on weekends.

When Ana said all that I was stunned. I didn't know what to say at that time so I was quite.

She saw me quite and said " Sorry, looks like I bored you with my story.

I really am not good with words. "

I then suddenly replied " No! I was not bored at all. "

But then to encourage her I said " That was all past, and you still have a fresh life ahead of you,

Never let past takedown your future. "

After listening to that, she was all better.

"Thanks " she said that smiling cheerfully.

That smile, again that smile which made my heart skip a beat.

That smile was same as when we met for the first time. That cheerful smile always makes my heart race.

That day I felt like I could do anything to bring that smile on her face.

Now that smile was one of those little things in my life that became important for me.

Her sister then suddenly came and said

" Big brother was this your room?"

Her sister was 8 years and was in 3rd grade.

I bend towards her, kept my hands on her head and replied politely with a changed tone

" Oh yeah it was, but now it's all yours. You can play all your games that like."

" Really!" she replied enthusiastically.

I then asked, " what's your name, little princess." I asked that in a childish tone.

She replied " My name is Sally."

I then praised her by saying, " Sally that such a cute name,"

Ana was looking happy, it would have been tough to shift if a family member is a kid.

It could affect childhood seriously, and maybe she might do the same mistakes as Ana did by not making friends. Keeping that in mind I started to bond with Sally and I easily bonded with her.

" So will you come to play with us, with me and sis Ana " she said that with an innocent face. I could not just reject her so I said yes of course, but then I realized I'll be with Ana when we will be playing together and that made me wait for the opportunity to play together with them.

I then left the room by saying

" Ok take your time to arrange the room, I'll leave now."

At noon we all sat together to have our lunch.

Ana was sitting in front of me, I was trying to avoid looking at her because if I would have seen her then my face would have become red and my mom would have read the situation.

That was an awkward lunch, I asked Ana to pass spaghetti and other food items many times but I didn't looked at her ones.

Then to avoid more awkward situations I went straight to my room and started studying. Both our moms went to the office to continue there shift. Since today they went late, my mom said

"Will you cook your dinner today by yourself?

For the sake of change we both will have our dinner outside. "

Since, I and my mom stayed alone so there were many instances where I made my dinner on my own. From there on I started cooking, I loved to cook on weekends and was pretty skilled. My mom always said

' Do you want to become a chef, your cooking skills are pretty good and sometimes you cook better than me. '

Then I said " Don't worry mom, I'll cook my dinner. "

But then she replied," Ask Ana what she wants to eat, and go buy the groceries."

I then realized that I had to cook for Ana as well, she started living with us and then for no reason I was all nervous.

In my mind I had only one thought, I will be having my dinner alone with Ana.

Will that be called as a dinner date?

Just thinking about that made my heart throb but then I supressed my feelings and started thinking about what to make today.

I went upstairs and from outside asked Ana what will she like to eat,

She replied " Don't worry about me, I'll go buy a microwave meal from the shop."

" Don't talk rubbish, do you know how unhealthy microwave meals are.

It's necessary to have a well balanced meal for a young girl like you."

I said all that like I was some kind of nanny.

She went quiet, I don't know what she was thinking but then she suddenly said,

"Okay fine, do whatever you want. But don't overdo it. "

She said all that in a low but in a rebellious tone.

I then thought, I was just worried about her but she doesn't have to say like that.

Inside the room, Sally was sleeping and Ana was studying, then suddenly Ana could listen the sound of Kevin from the outside saying " I will make the dinner today, what do you want to eat ."

Listening to that Ana was first surprised, she thought

'Can Kevin really cook?

I can't imagine him cooking.

But I would like to taste his cooking'

then she realized already Mrs Eliza is doing a favor by letting them leave in there house and now Kevin is offering me dinner.

I don't want to be a burden on them. '

She then replied,

" Don't worry about me, I'll go buy a microwave meal from the shop."

Then Kevin replied, " Don't talk rubbish, do you know how unhealthy microwave meals are.

It's necessary to have a well balanced meal for a young girl like you."

After listening that Ana was embarrassed, he thought what is he, my nanny.

But then she realized that before this when her mom worked late at the office, there was no one who asked her to have dinner.

She always bought a microwave meals and ate with Sally. Even Sally stopped nagging about the meal after some time.

After listening to Kevin, she was emotionally happy.

She then replied,

"Okay fine, do whatever you want. But don't overdo it. "

She said that with a slight rebellious tone so that Kevin don't understand what she really felt inside her heart.

Inside she was really happy that Kevin was making dinner for her.
