The end of the school festival is indescribably sad.

The crowd is thinning out and I can see the students trying to sell their left overs or wandering around after their performances.

My job is to gradually lead the public to the exits after the announcement that the event is about to end, which is 30 minutes before the end.

Yui asked excitedly.

And since we’re here, I might as well drive off the remaining guests off the campus.

Yui was smiling while the girl working as the stall keeper had tears in her eyes.

「Crepes is not something you can eat as many as you want…..」

「Even with the help of the whole class, we can’t consume them all! Shiratori-senpai, we’ll give them to you for free! Can you promote us to others? Can you?」

The girl is moving her eyes around while putting a heap of toppings.

Behind her, there seem to be her classmates who are frantically eating crepes.

They must have quite a lot of left over…….

Yui and I bit into the crepes that will make anyone sick to your stomach just by looking at it.

Just seeing her smile was enough for me.

Yui said so with a slightly sad look on her face.

「Why?」

「I wanted to go around the school festival with you.」

「Ah…..understood. We’ll have to live through next year to do that.」

I wish I could have said something wittier but that was all I could think of.

「Everything will be fine with Kazu here, right?」

「Of course. That’s for sure.」

「I don’t intend to be beaten so easily either. I’m going to get stronger and stronger.」

「Oh? Are you telling me to train you harder?」

「I’m not!?」

How precious is the time we spend laughing together like this?

I know Yui knows this but I want our good relationship to last forever.
