It seems like a scenario I've heard in some story, but I never imagined that it would become a reality later on.

However, while it sounds simple, to understand more precisely how it's done...

Yu Le only thought about it briefly before giving up.

A 2k savage shouldn't try to understand these things.

What's more, he's a savage who can't even understand advanced mathematics.

The more I try to make it funny, the more I want to laugh. I never thought that one day advanced mathematics could be classified as 'easy'.

Yu Le knew that his brain was like trying to mine minerals with an antique radio in front of those things—it was simply absurd.

He simply leaned back in his chair, watching the sky outside the window as it began to stabilize.

The memories of folded space in my mind flowed away like water, leaving little trace.

But Pandora didn't stop.

It spoke to Yule with immense joy:

"And, sir, do you know why they've become like this? It's because we are indeed selectively giving them technology."

"And because they themselves are maintaining this state, hahahahahaha! They have the entire legacy of a great civilization for more than a thousand years, yet they are still in this pitiful state."

"They're worse than a bunch of monkeys!"

Pandora will never miss an opportunity to belittle the aliens.

Or rather, it seems that most AI systems equipped with strong artificial intelligence will not be spared.

The only exception that Yule has seen so far is the large library.

Then, the Great Library also became Pandora's box...

Ultimately, it was still me who came.

One moment an AI was full of intellect, restraint, and maternal instincts, and suddenly it started yelling about killing all the aliens.

Thinking about this makes Yu Le want to cover her face.

But Pandora didn't stop; through satire and humor, she revealed the realities of this civilization.

“The nobles control the maintenance and use of the divine machine, the church controls the distribution and command of the technology, and the lower-class folks can only wait for the charity of the two above them.”

"But in any case, what these three have in common is that their respective powers come from knowing how to use them, rather than knowing why they can be used."

"Any alien that tries to understand the principles of a magical machine will find itself facing three fatal problems!"

“First, the divine strategist will not provide the underlying information; second, the church will regard it as an attempt to usurp the power of the sacred objects; and third, the nobles around him will also see him as a threat to disrupt the existing power structure.”

"With these three factors combined, any exploration of the principles will be halted in its nascent stage."

"True knowledge was lost to time after that great era ended. The aliens of today are unworthy of the name of their successor; they are nothing but a bunch of greedy and foolish pigs!"

While the limitations of the divine machine and the overly advanced nature of this legacy certainly contributed to their predicament, the more fundamental issue was that the aliens themselves had fallen into the crab dilemma.

Anyone who tries to climb out of the pot will be pulled down by the other crabs.

It will always be rotten now.

Yu Le remained silent for a while.

He gazed at the slowly moving cloud formations outside the window, imagining how scholars in this world, eager to understand the principles of the leap engine, were only ever allowed to see what the operating manual looked like.

This is undeniably ironic and cruel for a civilization.

Then he asked:

"Isn't anyone trying to break the status quo? Or are they just secretly researching it?"

“Countless, sir.”

For the first time, Pandora's voice carried a hint of...respect?

This strange feeling even made Yu Le glance at Pandora.

It never gives the aliens a friendly look.

"Sir, although I loathe these insects, I cannot deny that there are indeed some pioneers among them."

“I see a trace of your civilization in them. The echoes of Newton, Galileo, Einstein, these great men did indeed appear briefly in them.”

That sliver of respect became increasingly evident; no matter how terrible the group, the pioneers who act for the group will never be belittled.

But finally, Pandora's voice took a turn, appearing in an even more sarcastic form:

"But that only makes them more ridiculous."

“There was once a technical priest who belonged to the Human Machine Cult. He was so outstanding that he was promoted in his first year of joining the cult and given his own independent technical workshop, which was a private room in the cult headquarters!”

“In the past, that was a privilege reserved for archbishops.”

"He is even considered to be the youngest casting genius in history."

"However, he made one mistake, which, while correct for the civilization, was far too wrong for him, for the nobility, and for the church."

"He dismantled an auxiliary medical device that had been marked as permanently decommissioned without authorization!"

"He spent about three years completing the reverse engineering and successfully replicated a replacement with about 12 percent of the performance of the original."

At this point, Pandora paused for a rare moment:

“You know, sir, this is actually permitted in the church, especially since he is one of our own. It’s just that he has ‘overstepped his bounds’ and is unwilling to share his achievements with others.”

"Then one morning in the fourth year, he was reported by his own assistant and executed for 'blasphemy against the holy relics'."

"His drawings were all burned, his assistant took over his position in the church, and the replacement was publicly destroyed as a 'heretical creation' after being taken back by the church."

"Hehehe, what a pity. Although he still didn't become the one who truly understood, he did put this civilization at the doorstep of getting rid of us, but they destroyed that opportunity themselves."

Throughout its long history, Pandora has been observing this alien civilization.

He knows them all too well.

However, the more he understood them, the more he loathed them.

Here, Pandora is referring to an example from the church.

He then shared another case from the aristocracy with Yule.

"Then another one was a military nobleman whose name has been erased so that I don't even know it anymore. They can be really ruthless to their own people."

"In short, this unfortunate fellow secretly set up a research lab on his own territory to study and disassemble the parts of those scrapped super machines, trying to find their common architecture."

"He spent about twenty years making some piecemeal progress, but before his achievements were noticed by the church, his neighbor, a hereditary nobleman with whom he had a territorial dispute, was involved."

"They proactively provided the intelligence to the church. The guy's family was wiped out by the church and the king's army the very next day."

"His research was characterized as 'heretical behavior that threatens the stability of monarchical and papal authority,' and his findings were transferred in batches to the church's highest archives for safekeeping, where they have not been declassified to this day."

The example of the aristocracy also failed, and it was a classic crab dilemma.

You've made progress, what am I supposed to do?

So you must die!

"Similar events have occurred repeatedly in subsequent history in different forms and on different scales. The total number cannot be accurately counted, but it is estimated to be between tens of thousands or even more. Forgive me, this is really impossible to estimate."

"There have always been people trying desperately to drag this civilization forward, but this parasite lying on the legacy of a great civilization has become too fat and bloated, and those people simply can't move it!"

Yu Le remained staring out the window, motionless. After a while, he asked a question he already knew the answer to:

"So, no one succeeded?"

"No, sir, at least not one of them, as far as I know."

The church, the nobility, and the divine planners are often in opposition to each other.

However, all three are highly aligned in preventing deep technologies from being understood.

Therefore, no one can succeed!

Even if one of the three wanted to break the deadlock, it wouldn't work.

"I'm not a researcher, nor do I have any scientific spirit, but at least I've been to school and know the meaning of progress, so... isn't this a bit too cruel for a civilization?"

“It’s not cruel, sir, it’s their own choice, it’s foolish! Otherwise, it’s just that we can’t stop them.”

Yu Le nodded in agreement. Yes, it was indeed too cruel to this civilization, but to them it was simply foolish or greedy.

But no matter what, it's his own fault.

After a moment, Yu Le, having composed herself, said to Pandora:

"But at least this way, it's actually a great thing for me."

"Yes, sir."

The traces of the migration have completely disappeared.

The distant sky and earth were clearly reflected in Yu Le's eyes.

The battlefields of the church, the royal army, and the rebels unfold like a canvas before Yu Le's eyes.

When this massive fleet suddenly appeared.

Everyone stopped.

Moments later, the rebels, mainly composed of church members, swarmed toward the pleasure house.

Looking down at the church army swarming towards him.

They possessed the most advanced weapons of their time:

The soldiers' Gauss rifles could easily penetrate any reinforced cover, and each squad was followed by a heavy tank equipped with a high-energy particle cannon from the Divine Machine, which could even threaten battleships from the ground.

Further away, several enormous machines were slowly advancing. These were ancient divine machines that the church had directly awakened from its sealed warehouse, fitted with new armor and weapons, and then pushed to the front lines.

Their shapes are so bizarre they're almost comical.

But they are the church's true trump card, and the most terrifying weapons on this battlefield besides the divine offspring.

The commander stood behind Yu Le and spoke to him in a low, quick voice:

"Your Highness, this will be a fierce battle. I have already contacted the commander in the capital, and they will cooperate with us. So, give the order, Your Highness!"

"Although it's difficult, we will absolutely not lose!"

Further away, within the already ruined walls of the capital, large numbers of scattered troops were being urgently reorganized.

They will be the reinforcements for Yule, and they will launch a strong flank attack to support the Royal Fleet.

In theory, this would be a truly epic battle.

Yu Le, however, looked at everything below and said:

"No need, then let me go down alone."

The commander did not carry out Yu Le's order for the first time:

"Your Highness, I...I don't quite understand?"

Yu Le turned to the commander, smiled meaningfully, and said:

"Now that I'm here, it's all over!"

The church possesses the most advanced technology of our time, and this technology comes only from divine intervention.

They have been trapped in a cycle of mechanical manipulation since ancient times, but now, the first person to try something new has arrived!
