Cyberpunk: I didn't cheat.

Author: Nicole of Brooklyn

Introduction:

He travels to Cyberpunk 2077, starting with maxed-out stats, but is a penniless, scantily clad "streaker".

Vito stared into the sewage at his perfectly sculpted, naked body, lost in thought.

"Johnny Silverhand, are you even in my head? Lend me some money to buy a pair of pants!"

Seeing this naked man spouting nonsense, the residents of Night City would pay to call the police to report that a cyber lunatic had appeared on the street.

"What cyber lunatic? I leveled a whole street and didn't see any?"

Chapter 1 Welcome to Night City

Vito transmigrated to Night City in Cyberpunk 2077. He fell like a rotten can of meat from a whole food factory into a sewer under an overpass, stained with foul water, and even drew real blood from his body.

"Damn it! I was playing a game, how did I end up in this godforsaken place? I just started a new game, I just finished setting up the data, how did I end up here?!"

It took Vito a long time to accept this fact, but what confused him was that he seemed to still be in the game. Just now, he had fallen from the sky and almost smashed all his bones into the raw material for Night City's signature grilled birds. Now, after a few breaths, he had actually recovered.

"Holy crap, is this the breathing and blood regeneration technique?"

Vito touched himself and found that he was indeed back to normal. He looked around again, trying to scan like in the game, but he couldn't scan even when he stared with his eyes wide open.

"Is it not activated? No way, do I have to activate it manually?"

Vito poked his right eye, and a sharp pain shot through him.

"Holy crap!!! This is the original!"

It took Vito a while to recover, and he wanted to find a place to look in the mirror to see if there was anything wrong with his eyes.

After searching around, he found a puddle of stagnant, yellow water, from which he could barely see some reflections by the light.

He saw something that looked like a brain-computer interface next to his right ear in the reflection, and he tried touching it.

drop!

The intrusion was successful.

ummm

Imagine a person falling from the sky, completely naked except for an inlet and a data cable, with their penis swinging around freely. Asking someone like that to find a prosthetic doctor in Night City to implant an artificial eye that costs an unknown amount of money is no less difficult than Wu Dalang taking on Taro.

The wind was blowing and it was cool. Vito's most pressing problem right now was to find some clothes to wear. He saw a factory not far from the sewers and thought he would go over to see if there were any rags that could help him get rid of his Terminator opening form.

As soon as he walked over, he heard a burst of gunfire. He saw a group of cyborgs with red compound eyes fighting another group of people. The cyborgs cosplaying as Master Yi from League of Legends were firing their guns and shouting.

"Go to hell, you idiot! Your gun is like a sissy's rotten water pipe, get shot!"

"I'm out of bullets! Cover me!"

"Go to hell, you idiot! Damn it, he shot me!"

Those compound-eyed men were members of the Whirlpool Gang. They were fighting a group of mercenaries, who were also third-rate. Seeing that the Whirlpool Gang's reinforcements had arrived, they immediately slipped away, got into their vehicles, and prepared to leave.

"Damn it, you little brat trying to run away!"

"Make way, make way, let them try this!"

A member of the Vortex Gang pushed out a small cart with a light machine gun turret mounted on it. After the cart came to a stop, the Vortex Gang member inhaled an unknown gas and then connected it to the turret. The light machine gun immediately pointed at the mercenary's off-road vehicle and began spitting fire.

A mercenary swiftly opened the door, rolled off the vehicle, and ran towards the sewers. He was hit twice by a light machine gun on the way, but he was lucky compared to his comrades. He survived the attack.

"Damn it! That dog's turned into barbecue! Doom Doom, you're really something else!"

After disabling the turret, the gang member named Doom Doom took a deep breath and then shouted.

"Holy crap! This 'Sparkling' stuff is too sharp! If I sucked it, I could blow through Night City!"

"NCPD!"

"Damn it! The cops are here! Brothers, back to the factory, let the cops clean up the mess!"

Doom Doom then pulled the cart back to the Vortex Gang's factory with the Vortex Gang members.

The NCPD arrived and stayed for only a few minutes before roaring away again, apparently because another gunfight had broken out elsewhere.

The lucky guy rolled down the fence and into the sewer. He was badly hurt and felt like his prosthetic body was about to fall apart, but he believed that he was bound to be blessed after surviving such a disaster, and that he would be able to replace this suit with the original one sooner or later.

Just as he shook his head, preparing to look for his gun, a naked man was fiddling with his pistol not far away.

The naked man also noticed the mercenary, and he blushed.

"Sorry, I thought you wouldn't be able to get up after falling from such a height."

The mercenary's heart tightened. He had just escaped the clutches of the Vortex Gang, and now he had encountered a naked cyber psychopath.

He didn't show it on his face, but looked around for his main weapon, the Shigure submachine gun. He saw the gun not far away, but the naked mentally ill man was closer to it.

What to do!

The mercenary can only turn the pain modifier to the maximum to suppress the pain in his body and slowly approach Shigure.

Vito fiddled with the pistol a few more times, then asked.

"Dude, where's the insurance on this gun?"

Upon hearing this, the mercenary was overjoyed and immediately switched targets to Vito. Although he was unsure whether Vito was bluffing him, he was willing to take the risk.

Vito was a little stunned when he saw the mercenary rushing towards him. He subconsciously took a step back to avoid the mercenary's attack, but the mercenary snatched the Unification from his hand.

Just when the mercenary thought he had the situation under control, a powerful punch landed on his face, and he immediately lost consciousness.

"Holy crap! Am I that strong?"

Looking at the mercenary whose face prosthetics had been hammered out, and then at his own fists, Vito felt that he must have cheated. He must have used the data he adjusted with Wemod to exert his full power. He now had at least a physical value of 20.

As Vito pondered, another gust of wind blew by. After hesitating for a while, Vito took off his mercenary clothes and put them on. The clothes seemed a bit ill-fitting, but it was still much better than going into battle naked.

Vito picked up the Uniform, rummaged through it a few more times until he found the insurance, and then shot the mercenary in the head, he said coldly.

"Sorry, I'm a police officer. You chose him, idol! Ah Wei is dead!"

Vito then turned around with a flourish, picked up the Shigure submachine gun that had fallen to the ground, and left, leaving behind only a lonely and desolate figure.

One minute later.

Vito, who had left, returned. He held the mercenary's head in his arms and examined it repeatedly, then looked up to the sky and shouted.

"Do not!!!"

Vito felt incredibly stupid! He only knew that everyone in Night City had implants, but he forgot that eye implants were among the most common types of implants.

His dashing shot struck the mercenary right in the eye socket, while his fist damaged the mercenary's left eye, costing him a pair of good beads for implantation.

After feeling unwell for a while, he went to the food factory to see if there were any intact prosthetic eyes from corpses that he could use.

He climbed onto the overpass and looked down at the food factory, only to see several cleaners loading the body into a car and leaving, leaving behind a burning car emitting the smell of roasted meat.

Vito had no choice but to leave with the two guns.

Chapter 2 Mud

Vito killed the mercenary, but he felt no discomfort. On the contrary, he felt a sense of absurdity looking at the shredded flesh mixed with a few pieces of iron on the mercenary's face. He felt as if he had been directly transported into the game.

But now, while eating fried noodles, he feels unwell.

Vito had originally hidden the gun under his clothes, but Shigure's gun barrel kept hitting him when he bent over, so he went to a gun shop to ask if they would take Shigure.

The gun shop owner declared righteously that he would not accept guns of dubious origin, while simultaneously making a five-point gesture on the table.

Vito thought about it and decided that five thousand wasn't bad. He would buy himself some nice clothes and then have a good meal; he was actually quite hungry.

Vito nodded in agreement, but he wanted cash. Seeing how readily he agreed, the gun shop owner immediately took out a stack of money and handed it to Vito.

Vito counted the money and then complained.

"How come you only have five hundred when we agreed on five thousand!"

This question left the shopkeeper completely bewildered. He wondered when he had mentioned five thousand. After a while, he realized that this guy, who looked like a top starlet from Genting Highlands, was actually a newbie on the streets. He explained.

“There’s plenty of Shiyu here now, and this isn’t anything special. Look at this gun body, it looks like it was hit by a .31 light machine gun. And look at these scratches, it looks like it was thrown into a stinky ditch. I’m just being kind-hearted. If I sold this in Dog Town, you might get blasted out!”

Vito was speechless. "The password? You've planted a surveillance device on me, haven't you?" he thought for a moment and said.

"Okay, five hundred it is. Also, give me three standard magazines and two boxes of pistol ammunition. You have to give me a discount on these!"

The shopkeeper smiled and took out the goods, then accepted the beautiful little euro. Seeing Vito's worried face, he comforted him.

"Don't be discouraged. Making a living on the streets might make you poorer, but it's better than getting stabbed in the butt, right? Where did you work before, Genting Highlands?"

Vito immediately got angry. "Damn it, even though my buddy's face looks like Jim Ross Stewart, it's a bit much for you to make such a wild guess that I work at Genting!"

Vito pulled out his uniform and pointed it at the boss, saying, "I'm not selling myself. If I'm selling, it's my labor. What the hell are you talking about!"

The boss, facing Vito's sudden outburst, spoke timidly.

"My fault, my fault, calm down, buddy. The NCPD patrols around here all the time. Don't do anything stupid. Consider these bullets a gift. Let's be friends. Put the gun down."

As he spoke, the boss handed Vito the money in his hand. Vito grabbed the bill, pointed at the boss, and backed away step by step before leaving the house.

As Vito walked away, the boss spat on the ground and cursed.

"Damn, this kid's pretty quick! These days, you can sell anything without feeling ashamed, what's gotten into this brat!"

Vito bought himself a well-fitting set of clothes after leaving the house, and then found a popular Chinese restaurant. On the owner's suggestion, he ordered fried noodles with a "money-back guarantee" policy.

He took a big bite of the fried noodles as soon as they arrived, and then suddenly vomited it all over the floor.

He coughed for a while before he calmed down. This fried noodle dish, well, apart from the name, had nothing to do with fried noodles at all. It was practically bombarding Vito's mouth.

Vito felt his breathing return activate, he took a breath and then cursed.

"Damn it! Boss, you poisoned me, didn't you?! I'm losing blood!"

When the boss saw Vito's excessive reaction, he thought he was being harassed, so he pointed at Vito with a spoon and cursed at him.

"What nonsense are you spouting, you little brat? I've been running this business on the street for ten years, and you think I'd poison you? Let me tell you, this is under the Tiger Claw gang's protection. Don't even think about messing with me!"

Vito felt another urge to draw his gun, but seeing the diners around him enjoying their food, he figured the people of Night City had probably gotten used to calling this chemically-stirred plastic a delicacy, so he walked away with a dark expression.

"You little brat, you haven't paid yet!"

Vito turned around and yelled, "Damn it! You have the nerve to charge me for this garbage that doesn't even taste good?"

The stall owner was about to retaliate, but seeing that Vito had only taken one bite and left, he decided not to argue further and instead poured the remaining fried noodles back onto the stall and gave them to the next person.

Vito's stomach was growling, but he felt he would really die if he ate any more of that stuff. Now, there was another urgent matter: saving up to buy a digestive prosthesis.

Hungry Vito walked to a vending machine and bought a protein bar. It didn't sound so scary; it should be a good temporary fix.

This time, Vito was smarter. He took a small bite of the protein bar, and it was still very unpleasant, but not to the point of causing him to bleed. So he bit the protein bar into small pieces and swallowed them whole to avoid the strange taste of the protein bar killing the sensory cells on his tongue.

As they were eating, a native of Night City came over and handed Vito a small can of Coca-Cola. He was a Latino man of medium build, and he looked at Vito and said...

"Are you starving? How about coming to my house for a couple of hot pizzas, baby?"

Vito's face darkened again, and he asked, barely suppressing his anger.

"Should I stab you or will you stab me?"

Seeing that there was a chance, the man immediately said.

"Sure! I have tons of stuff at home, you can play with whatever you want!"

Vito looked around, found a dark alley, and pointed it out to the man.

"I won't go home. You wait for me in that alley."
