Cyberpunk: I didn't cheat.

Then, a large, sloping rock appeared in front of the demon hound, which was like a natural flying platform that would allow Vito to fly!
"I rely on it!"
When Vito got onto the big rock, he knew he was doomed. There was nothing he could do but slam on the gas pedal to make the car as it sped off.
"Damn it! Watch out, Vito! I don't want to die from your brain!"
Clang!
The heavy body of the car crashed to the ground, swayed from side to side, and then continued driving forward. Vito completely lost track of Panan and could only try to call him via radio.
"Hey, Panan, can you hear me? Respond if you hear me, respond if you hear me!"
"Wei...I'm here...where are you...?"
The fact that they could still communicate meant they weren't far apart, but there was nothing they could do because the visibility was too low. Vito could only estimate his progress and keep driving forward, hoping he wouldn't get stuck in the sandstorm.
Boom!
The demon dog was bumped by something.
Vito looked back and saw a car following him. He thought it was Panan who had run behind him, so he quickly slowed down and let the car behind him go ahead and lead the way.
Then, Vito saw a demon hound armored vehicle drive past him, and his prosthetic eye caught the Serpent Clan emblem on the hound's body.
"Huh? What's going on?"
One vehicle, two vehicles, several vehicles.
Vito found himself surrounded by a pack of Serpent's Hounds.
Visibility was so low that Vito had blended in.
“Calling Parnam! I have Snakebang’s car here, you guys go first!”
There was no response to the communication.
Vito called Carmela, but there was no response. Vito estimated that he had already distanced himself from Panan's car.
"We've entered a snake pit. Hurry up and run behind. There are at least seven or eight of them. Don't lose your life here."
Vito ignored Johnny's advice and instead pressed on, keeping close to the Snakes' convoy. They were wanderers from the Badlands who knew where to escape the sandstorms.
The convoy moved forward through the sandstorm and drove into an abandoned town. One after another, the people on the demon hounds got off and rammed open the doors to hide inside. Vito did the same, randomly finding a room and opening the jammed broken door.
"Wait...wait a minute, together..."
Two men from the Snake Clan followed Vito into the house, carrying some food and drinks in their arms, before falling behind.
"Close the door! Let's all help!"
The three of them worked together to close the broken door, and the dilapidated house immediately became dark.
"Find the power box. Paul and the others came last time and reconnected the power to the town!"
In the darkness, two red lights flashed, the red lights scanned by the prosthetic eye resembling werewolves or vampires from horror movies.
"I found it! Bob, try turning it on!"
The snake-man named Bob found the switch and pressed it, and light immediately filled the dark room.
"Done! Come sit down and have a drink. This damn sandstorm and these damn quests were driving me crazy!"
Bob took off his bulletproof vest and threw it on the sofa, shook himself, and plopped down on the old sofa.
"Hey, come have a drink, Taylor and I... Holy crap, who the hell are you?"
Bob saw Vito shaking his clothes, seemingly trying to shake off all the sand. He hadn't noticed before, but now Bob realized that Vito was a stranger.
"Stop babbling, or I'll throw you all out."
As soon as Vito got out of the car, he was covered in sand, the strong wind carrying coarse sand grains that squeezed into every crevice he could get into.
Click!
Bob immediately drew his pistol and pointed it at Vito, while Taylor, who had rushed over upon hearing the commotion, also drew a dagger and stared warily at the stranger in front of him.
Boom!
Vito, shaking off the sand, moved with lightning speed, pulling out a euro and knocking the weapons from the two men's hands. After losing his weapon, Taylor rushed towards Vito, trying to control him and prevent him from firing.
Ta-da!
Euro's cold gun barrel was pressed against Taylor's forehead. "You're all trapped together, and you're still resorting to knives and guns?"
Then, Vito pulled out the punishment weapon hidden in his lower back and pointed it at Bob on the sofa.
"Don't even think about getting your piece of junk. I'm furious right now, don't mess with me!"
Taylor raised his hand with a smirk.
"Hey buddy, I was just trying to shake the sand off you, you're not getting angry, are you?"
Bob also kicked his pistol aside.
Bob knew Vito was a master from the first move; even if he and Taylor were tied together, they wouldn't be a match for Vito, not to mention Vito also had a gun.
"Relax, buddy, I was just scared. I thought the house was haunted! Put the gun away and let's sit down and have a drink."
Chapter 310 He's in the distance
Vito didn't want to make things difficult for Bob and Taylor; he still had questions for them.
"Throw your weapons under the sofa, separate the bullets from the guns, and throw the knife down too. You two sit on the sofa, and don't try anything funny!"
Bob and Taylor, following Vito's instructions, stuffed the gun and knife under the sofa cushions, and under Vito's threat, they even pushed them in a little deeper.
After they finished, the two raised their hands to indicate to Vito that they were out of weapons.
"I did everything you said, buddy. Put the gun away first. If I bend down to get the weapon, you can kill me. Let's not make a scene now."
Taylor slowly reached for the whiskey bottle. A thought flashed through his mind: to pick up the bottle and take a gamble. At that moment, two little figures appeared in Taylor's mind, one on the left and one on the right.
A little angel told Taylor not to act rashly, because Vito's bullets were faster than his bottles.
The devilish little man told Taylor: Quick, I want to see you bleed profusely! I want to see you torn apart by this mercenary!
Boo!
The cork was removed, and Taylor pushed the whiskey to the front of the table.
"Here's the best bottle for you, isn't that generous? Put the gun down and let's have a good drink."
Vito put the gun back in its holster, and Taylor and Bob both breathed a sigh of relief; their lives were temporarily saved.
"Don't even think about sending a message to your few brothers; even if you all put yourselves together, you might not be able to take me down."
Taylor opened a bottle of beer and handed it to Bob, then opened a bottle of vodka for himself.
"Hey! I've never seen anyone this arrogant in my life. Dude, what kind of gang are you from?"
Bob glared at Taylor, snatched the vodka from Taylor's hand, and took a big gulp. "I think you're pretty good, buddy. I trust you. Here, have a sip!"
Bob took another big gulp of wine and then told Taylor to take out the food so everyone could share.
"Hey buddy, what's your name? Why did you get out of our car?"
“Vito. I ran into you guys in the sandstorm. You're all demon hounds, I bet you didn't even realize it.”
Vito took out his cigarette and tossed it to Bob and Taylor.
"You have a demon hound? You bought it yourself?"
Taylor was surprised. The hounds they drove were all family-owned; he might never be able to afford one on his own, even if he lived to die.
"I bought it myself; the money came out of my account."
"Wow, that's awesome! Dude, what do you do for a living? Can I join you?"
Taylor picked up a cigarette and lit it. He noticed that it was a Golden Angel brand, the kind of expensive brand sold in Night City.
"If you leave the Serpent Kingdom, I'll immediately make you rich."
"Wow, that's impressive! How much can you earn in a day? Three thousand?"
Taylor didn't care about the Snake Clan or anything like that. His family had long since been unable to survive in the Badlands and belonged to the first families to join the Snake Clan. As for the sense of belonging, the old one had worn away, and the new one hadn't been established yet.
Bob nudged Taylor with his elbow, signaling him to shut up. Taylor, remembering the fate of those traitors recently, also shut his mouth.
"If you're capable of earning more than three thousand a day, then you two can leave today. If it's not a problem, I'll give you thirty thousand. How about it?"
Taylor's eyes widened as he listened, and he immediately started shouting.
"That's great! Go ask my God of Wealth!"
"Have you ever seen a guy named Jack, tall and muscular with a samurai-style haircut, or a guy named V, an ordinary-looking but handsome guy?"
Taylor racked his brains but couldn't find any such people. He really wanted to make the money, but he was afraid that Vito would find out he was lying, so he could only honestly say that he had never seen them.
Bob, who was standing next to him, shook his head, indicating that he didn't know the two people.
"Okay, second question, what are all these cars going there for?"
"Attack Joaquin!"
"Strike the traitor!"
The two spoke at the same time, and Vito asked them to explain in detail.
"Joaquin is a traitor to the Snake Clan. He has gathered a large group of people to rebel against the Snake Clan. Recently, he even had our supply depot attacked."
Taylor spoke first, and Bob couldn't beat him, so he could only add a few words.
"Joaquin has produced a capable man. I heard he found a madman who can't be penetrated by submachine guns. He's wielding two mantis knives and is about to smash through the camp!"
Mantis knife? Slaughtering through the camp?
This sounds like something Vincent would do.
Regarding the fact that I became a melee brute after upgrading my cybernetic body.
It looks exactly like something V would make.
"And then? Did you find it?"
“No.” Taylor shook his head, stubbed out his cigarette, and took a swig from the bottle. “Joaquin’s men ran away. We couldn’t even find their camp. Then we were ordered to come back for a new mission. But we were so unlucky that we ran into Ha Dabo.”
Vito guessed that these guys were back to fight Adcardo, and that they had plenty of firepower, so Adcardo was in trouble.
"One last question, who is leading your team?"
Taylor took another swig of wine, his voice tinged with resentment.
"A stupid idiot named Dega Jiao used to be considered a third or fourth-class citizen even in the marginalized families. I don't know what kind of shit he got into, but now he's ordering us around."
Bob seemed to be very dissatisfied with Dega as well, and he said dismissively.
“People like him should be driven away like a night ghost. We, the Snake Clan, are working hard for all the wanderers right now. This scoundrel beats and curses his clansmen at the drop of a hat, and he even says that he is the one Max really needs.”
Vito found it more and more interesting as he listened. As he spoke, an electric arc flashed across Bob's body, and he suddenly experienced an electromagnetic short circuit.
Taylor, who was standing next to him, was startled. He had never seen such a scene before and was in a panic.
"I'm a prosthetic doctor, let me take a look at him!"
Vito got up and stepped forward, skillfully connecting to the personal connection to upload.
"It's nothing, just an electromagnetic short circuit. It's probably because the prosthetic body was affected by the sandstorm."
As the electric arc dissipated, Bob, recovering from the shock, was panting heavily. Taylor quickly handed him a beer, hoping to help him catch his breath.
"A cybernetic doctor? I thought you were a mercenary. It's a waste of your skills to be a doctor."
"No waste. Once I take off my white coat, I'm a mercenary."
"Hey! That's interesting! I'd love to work with you, but too bad I can't do prosthetic medicine... Wow, 30,000! Dude, you're serious!"
"Thank you for the information. Here's a piece of advice: one of the most painful things in life is living without having spent any money."
After saying that, Vito retreated to a corner to drink whiskey. Taylor felt that Vito's words had a hidden meaning, but they were not bad. Money is the most important thing.
Outside, the wind and sand continued to blow, while the three people were trapped in the small house, drinking and chatting.
