Just Mine

After the call ended, Dwayne thought to himself.... Anton, Anton....oh that's the guy he saw with his boss the other day...what does he want from him and why the 20th floor. His deal started yesterday and he hasn't heard anything from his boss. Maybe this was about the contract. He went into his apartment as he started parking...after a few hours of packing ....Dwayne decided he wouldn't need the moving company after all...he'll just have to move with his car ....3/4 rounds should do.

The next day

Sky sat at her dressing mirror as she combed her hair...it was the heat season and she was getting really hot lately...it was time she braided her hair and start wearing her wig. At the first trimester of her pregnancy, she lost weight ...but it seems she's adding around the hip area and bust. Getting dressed in a black pant and peach jacket, Sky picked up her bag as she strolled to her car. She decide to use her Honda Accord Crosstour today....as she got into the car and started the engine, the passenger door opened and Anton came in, she was surprised to see him .. .why are you looking so official and why are you in my car she asked, we have somethings to talk about and I have to prepare for my trip next week...Remember the project I told you about? I have to go to China to check things out and review the project, I'll be away for a few days. Oh that's true. .I'll miss you...the house is going to be boring. You can invite Jenna over or Zino...he said ..I rather stay in a city alone than to invite Jenna plus Zino is married, she can't leave her family. That reminds me, you can visit home if you want and extend your trip. Nah it's ok...the old man is doing fine plus he isn't in China.

Sky and Anton continued their discussion as she drove to work, Sky made a quick detour to a fast food joint to get breakfast as she couldn't eat what she made at home. When they got to Jaydite building, Sky took the private elevator as Anton went through the front entrance... telling her he had somethings to do and would meet her in the office. After getting to the office around 7:30 am...Sky got to work as she went through the files on her desk, they had a presentation coming soon, so she had alot of project to go through. After 30 minutes of working, Anton came into her office as he opened his laptop and started working. Can you come over boss he asked??

Sky left her desk as she went to sit with him. Remember the estates Mr J. left for his two daughters? your assumption was right...guess what??... What? she asked. They sold it. I knew it, wow and please Anton tell me you bought them back. Off course I did boss, I bought them back in your name, your real name. I doubt if Kayla's mom is aware about the sale but anyway that's that...I will keep an eye on them. Aren't you forgetting something he asked?? Shaking her head she said no...I think am good. Rolling his eyes Anton said....it's time for your antenatal, now get going. Woh I almost forgot...thanx, with that she stoop up and went to her personal room. Getting to the door she said oh and please Anton, I want to eat chicken fried rice please, can you get it for me? I thought you just ate Anton asked...nah that was an appetizer.


Anton stared at the door after his boss left, she really has changed...this was someone who could eat once a day and its ok but now she eats like a cow...picking up his phone. he placed an order for two and continued working. After two hours of working, Sky's office phone rang so he went to her desk to answer it... Ma'am, Mr Dwayne is here to see you .....let him in he said. He'd totally forgotten about Dwayne...packing up the file he scattered on his desk, he kept it inside a folder that has confidential written on it. Anton thought about his boss who was in the other room...she was supposed to be done by now, maybe she has fallen asleep...perfect timing he thought to himself. Dwayne took a deep breath as he knocked on the door, he went inside and found Anton working on his computer. He looked different in a suit and glass...he didn't look like the cheerful guy he met the other night. Good morning Mr Anton, he said. Oh you are here, welcome. Your baby mama had a sudden craving for Chicken and Chips from the Lebanese restaurant across town...do you think you can get it for her?
