Chapter 777 The Informer

"So, what do you want from me?"

After a brief hesitation, Malfoy, who was always good at assessing the situation, quickly made the decision to follow his heart and trust Celen.

Of course, Malfoy knew very well that the so-called repayment was pure nonsense, and even someone as stupid as Crabbe and Goyle would not believe it.

But he had no choice but to believe it, or rather, he had to force himself to believe it. After all, strictly speaking, it was his only chance to survive.

As a true Death Eater, Malfoy had come to realize just how terrifying Voldemort was—a monster without any real feelings.

The Malfoy family is doomed now that they've lost the diary. Even if they killed Harry Potter, that achievement wouldn't be enough to make up for the mistakes they made.

Unless—before Voldemort completely drains them of their value, they are killed again, just as they were a decade or so ago.

The chances were slim, but Malfoy had no other choice.

"What do you want from me?" Draco Malfoy asked again when Sirens remained silent. "The Death Eaters' plans, or the location of Mystic—or do you want to use me to seek revenge on Crabbe and Goyle?"

"I've already said, Crabbe and Goyle are no problem. I can go find them anytime I want."

"So what do you want?" Draco looked at Celen. "Stop spouting nonsense about repaying Malfoy. I'm not Longbottom."

"Sometimes, Neville is much smarter than you," Siron shrugged.

Unexpectedly, despite his rare act of generosity, the other party was ungrateful.

"Alright, as you wish—tell me where Nagini is."

"Nagini?"

"You must have seen that giant snake that was with the mysterious man."

"I know, I'm just wondering why you'd ask that." Malfoy frowned. "It was just an ordinary snake, thicker and longer than anything else; it wasn't even a magical creature."

"Blood Curse Orcs—they're not exactly magical creatures, but they're even rarer than magical creatures," Siron said softly.

"Blood Cursed Orcs—" Malfoy paused, stunned. "What are those things?"

"One type of curse that turns a wizard into an animal forever, similar to an irreversible Animagus."

Malfoy, who had just stood up, subconsciously took two steps back. He never expected that the ordinary-looking python following the Dark Lord was actually a wizard.

Another thing that surprised him was something else entirely.

"Oh, by the way, that snake was also the mysterious man's last Horcrux."

With a thud, Malfoy's legs gave way and he collapsed to the ground again.

Xilun continued talking to himself as if he hadn't seen anything.

"Once the snake is killed, the mysterious man will lose all protection, and after being killed, he will disappear completely."

"This is also the result you wanted to see, right?"

Malfoy instinctively wanted to nod, but quickly realized what was happening and his head froze in place.

"I don't know where it is."

"Lying now is the most foolish thing to do, Malfoy," Celen said calmly. "You don't think you can regain their trust, do you?"

"I didn't, but I really don't know." Malfoy shook his head again. "That snake was always near the Dark Lord, in the main hall of my house. The Dark Lord usually executes people who oppose him there."

"But one day, the Dark Lord suddenly flew into a rage—I had never seen him so angry before. Several Death Eaters were executed by him simply because they were breathing a little too loudly."

As if he had just thought of something, Malfoy's face drained of color, his eyes twitched involuntarily, and his breathing became increasingly rapid.

It's clear that Malfoy vividly remembers the scene; he may have almost been killed as well.

After catching his breath for a while, Malfoy finally calmed down and said, "Anyway, Nagini disappeared after that incident."

"I also found it strange before, but if Nagini is also a Horcrux of the Dark Lord, then it makes a lot of sense—the Dark Lord hid it in a place that only he knows."

"Even the Death Eaters don't know?"

"Perhaps Barty Crouch Jr. knew that he was the Dark Lord's most trusted Death Eater," Malfoy said. "But my father and I certainly didn't know that the Dark Lord no longer trusted us and would never tell us such an important secret."

Xiren was a little disappointed, but the result was expected.

Voldemort was enraged, probably on the day he learned that all his Horcruxes had been destroyed. Nagini, being the only remaining one, naturally became the most important, and Voldemort would certainly place her in what he considered the safest place.

Siren had been speculating whether Voldemort would hide it or keep it close at hand—now it seems Voldemort has clearly chosen the former.

In that case, there's nothing Siren can do but wait and see if Harry and his friends can find it.

But it should be fine.

Harry is also a Horcrux, and there may be some unseen connection between him and Nagini, who is also a Horcrux.

It's not to say they'll definitely find her, but if anyone is to find Nagini, Harry is definitely the most likely candidate—maybe while he was talking to Malfoy, Harry and the others had already found a clue.

After giving up on finding Nagini, Cyren asked Malfoy a few more questions about Voldemort.

Malfoy was also very straightforward; he answered all questions about anything he knew.

"The Dark Lord is in my house, but I advise you not to go there to look for him. To be honest, even I don't know how much magic has been set up in the Malfoy mansion now."

"Moreover, the Dark Lord has recently been recruiting, using the Galon contributed by my father to expand his ranks by more than three hundred Death Eaters."

"Tsk, the Malfoys are really rich." Siren pursed his lips.

Three hundred Death Eaters is quite a number. During the First Wizarding War more than a decade ago, the peak number of Death Eaters was probably only this many.

Those who can join the Death Eaters are mostly dark wizards. To get these people to willingly serve Voldemort, strength alone is not enough; there must also be tangible benefits—for example, enough Galleons to make them lose their minds.

Malfoy's eyes flickered, but he remained silent.

But he knew very well that his father, Lucius Malfoy, had already contributed more than 200,000 Galleons.

That's two hundred thousand Galleons! If the Order of the Phoenix found out they'd contributed so many Galleons to the Dark Lord, Malfoy would be doomed.

Malfoy kept his mouth tightly shut and didn't say a word.

Fortunately, Xilun only mentioned it casually and didn't expect to actually get any results.

Just then, the bell rang, signaling the end of get out of class.

"I have to go. Alecto Caro is very suspicious." Malfoy walked toward the door.

"Wait," Sirens called after him. "Tell me the password to the Slytherin common room."

Malfoy's eyes widened slightly, but he still answered truthfully, "The password is Pureblood Supremacy!"
