The Uchiha clan is known for its brutal enforcement of the law, often giving the villagers a sour look. Sometimes they even solve cases using genjutsu, which is absolutely forbidden in Konoha. Konoha ninjas are prohibited from using ninjutsu on villagers.

However, this ban was obviously of no use to the Uchiha. Any villager who complained was brought directly to the police headquarters for questioning.

The Uchiha clan never held an advantage on the power stage, never entered the core of power, and over time they even lost the hearts of the people at the very bottom.
