Pokémon: Just won the championship, the newbie growth system is here!

Walking through the cave is safe, but the scenery along the cliff path with fallen leaves is beautiful.

What if it triggers an Easter egg?

Moreover, what does he have to fear now? He has a championship team with him, capable of handling any dangerous situation.

Now that you've become a champion, it's okay to be a little confident.

As for the broken bridge ahead, the waterfall cascades down the cliff, and the wooden bridge, destroyed by boulders, overlooks a lake, estimated to be a hundred meters high.

Falling from this height, the difference between the water surface and the land is not much. So how do you get to the other side? There are actually many ways to fall.

"Please, Gardevoir."

Gardevoir nodded, wearing an exquisite lace hat that made her look like she was on vacation, and smiled as she reached out to put her hand on Leaf's shoulder.

Gardevoir quietly closed its eyes and entered a meditative state, contemplating the location of its destination. When it opened its eyes, they glowed red.

[Instant teleportation, get into position.]

The surrounding scenery distorted, and the next second it transformed into a landscape of mountains, rocks, and forests.

Ye Luo saw that it was still the same broken bridge in front of him, but the position was reversed. He had already teleported to the other side.

From the perspective of the person involved, it's as if the surrounding scenery is moving, while they themselves remain stationary.

"Let's go, there's still a short distance to the top of the mountain."

Looking at the setting sun casting its glow on the horizon, Ye Luo estimated that he should be able to reach the mountaintop and set up camp before dark.

A flock of crows flew out of the forest, and in the distance, several trees had fallen, but the falling leaves did not seem to matter much.

There are too many unusual things in this world, and most of them are the work of the more powerful Pokémon in the forest.

Even though this is a travel route for novice trainers, Pokémon don't pick and choose; they'll settle down as long as it's a suitable place to live.

Deep in the forest, there are often more powerful Pokémon, such as Nidoking and Nidoqueen, which can easily overturn one or two large trees.

Even Incineroar or Arbok can topple large trees.

Pokémon's power is unmatched by ordinary animals, which is why we embark on adventures with Pokémon.

"How does Gardevoir feel?"

[It feels very refreshing.]

Gardevoir smiled and said that Ye Luo actually wanted to ask about things like danger perception.

Psychic-type Pokémon have an extremely keen sense of danger and can react faster than their trainers if they detect a problem.

Gardevoir, however, was immersed in joy, occasionally adjusting her hat with a silly grin on her face.

"Will this hat make Pokémon stupid?" Ye Luo thought, wondering if she should take it off.

[no.]

Upon hearing the trainer's thoughts, Gardevoir put on its usual indifferent expression and explained.

[This was a gift from my trainer, I'm very happy.]

"This is the first time I've seen Gardevoir giggle like that."

Ye Luo's comment was not an exaggeration.

Gardevoir actually has a rather irritable personality. Due to its past experiences, it doesn't like to interact with trainers or Pokémon.

It was once considered a powerful individual, and according to Team Rocket, it had the potential to become a "leader Pokémon".

Within a Pokémon group, there is a possibility of a leader Pokémon emerging, which is larger in size, has higher Individual Values (IVs), and is usually smarter than the average Pokémon.

Some leaders also possess special skills, but these are relatively rare.

Because of this unique nature, Gardevoir was captured by Team Rocket and trained as a combatant when Gardevoir was with Ralts.

As for the training method, it involves constantly engaging in Pokémon battles, improving abilities by fighting against Pokémon stronger than oneself.

Back then, Ralts could always go toe-to-toe with her opponents.

Because it has the "Shared Fate" move, as long as you time it right, you can use Shared Fate to take down an opponent who is far stronger than yourself.

After Team Rocket finished studying its intelligence, Ralts, having lost its research value, was used as Team Rocket's suicide grenade.

When encountering an enemy you can't defeat, send Ralts into battle and use Destiny Bond to deplete the opponent's stamina.

Because of this unpleasant experience, Gardevoir distrusted humans for a long time.

It is born with the potential to be a leader Pokémon. It is larger than a normal Ralts, and its unusual appearance makes it less likely for its own kind to get close to it.

That's what Gardevoir said, and Ye Luo doesn't know the specifics.

I've never seen him grinning like this before, he's usually so irritable.

[It's all because of traveling with Ye Luo.]

Gardevoir smiled, a stark contrast to the Gardevoir that used to readily use Shadow Balls to smash other Pokémon.

"I didn't do anything."

[Hmph, you'd better not have done anything.]

Gardevoir, mimicking human speech, spoke meaningfully through telepathy.

Ye Luo was somewhat puzzled.

Where did you learn these internet slang terms?

[On mobile phone.]

Ye Luo was also a little helpless. Although the thirst for knowledge was a good thing, he learned some strange words and sometimes he didn't know what to say.

Gardevoir is the only Pokémon in the team that can read, and it also knows arithmetic and addition and subtraction. Of course, it can also use a mobile phone to search.

This is nothing unusual. Psychic-type Pokémon are inherently intelligent. Indeedee can even take on all the housework to take care of its trainer. The trainer's gratitude becomes Indeedee's spiritual nourishment, literally.

Basic arithmetic and literacy skills aren't impossible for Pokémon to learn; it's just that most Psychic-type Pokémon are too lazy to learn them.

Numbers are of little use to them; they can understand a trainer's thoughts simply by using mental perception, and words are not very meaningful either.

If Pokémon were truly interested in learning, even Jigglypuff could become a great helper to Nurse.

Gardevoir, on the other hand, particularly enjoys learning about human society and often uses her phone to search for information.

[Ye Luo, how about I cook dinner tonight?]

"It's not impossible. What does Gardevoir plan to do?"

Gardevoir smiled and joked telepathically.

[Confidential.]

Just don't cook the Honey Orochi. Since it's a secret, Ye Luo won't ask.

Meloetta was a little curious after using telepathy to catch the trainers' conversation.

[Gardevoir, what's for dinner tonight?]

[It was agreed to be kept confidential.]

Tell me!

Meloetta floated beside Gardevoir, paying particular attention to food, trying to read Gardevoir's thoughts to predict the exam questions.

[I also have superpowers, don't even think about using mind reading on me.]

As a result, Gardevoir's eyes flashed red, blocking Meloetta's telepathic connection.

The essence of telepathy is that Pokémon use their spiritual power to perceive what the other person is thinking. In this world, there is already a scientific explanation for this: psycho-waves, also known as auras.

Psychic-type Pokémon all have their own unique psycho-waves. The psycho-waves of Gardevoir and Meloetta cancel each other out, making it impossible for them to guess each other's thoughts.

Like a signal blocker, Gardevoir closed off its inner self, so Meloetta couldn't hear it.

But Meloeta just wanted to know what to have for dinner.

Tell me!

[No, right now my heart is only open to trainers. I'll tell you if Ye Luo insists on asking.]

Watching the two Pokémon bicker as usual, Ye Luo shrugged and didn't want to get involved.
