Hogwarts: The Witch Education Handbook
Chapter 20 Delicious Food You Absolutely Must Not Miss
The food falling from the sky gave Sean an urge to thank nature for its bounty.
In fact, this is a food magic left behind by Helga Hufflepuff, the founder of Hufflepuff School. It doesn't conjure food out of thin air, but rather precisely delivers it from the kitchen to the table.
Sean has always believed in one particular viewpoint.
Delicious food is made with heart, and no matter how delicious food is, it can never compare to human cooking using the same process, even if it is mass-produced using magic.
Because the latter is imbued with love—don't underestimate the bond between chefs and food!
The above is a summary by Sean after watching movies and TV series such as "Food Wars! Shokugeki no Soma", "MasterChef", "Cooking Master Boy", and "MasterChef Xiaofugui".
As long as Sean doesn't have to cook for himself, he'll eat whatever he wants, but that doesn't affect his pursuit and love of food at all.
Looking at the various delicacies on the table, Sean went into "tornado mode".
If we're talking about the best food, then of course it's the British specialty, fish and chips.
Because of the limited variety of British cuisine, the British have created countless variations of these two ingredients.
Sean reached out without hesitation and took a bite of the fried fish. The skin was crispy and the inside was tender. The flavor of the fish and the crispy batter combined perfectly, making him smack his lips in satisfaction.
Then, he picked up a French fry, dipped the hot fry in ketchup, and took a bite, his mouth filled with the taste of happiness.
Besides fish and chips, the long table also featured a variety of delicious pasta dishes, delicate French foie gras, and even refreshing Japanese sushi...
Sean tasted each dish, as if he were in an ocean of world cuisine, fully enjoying the unique flavor of each ingredient.
One word: awesome.
After tasting it, Sean leaned back in his chair with satisfaction.
Seriously, he hadn't eaten this much in a long time.
Not long after the main course, dessert was served.
Puddings and ice cream in all flavors are available, along with apple pie, syrup fruit tarts, chocolate muffins, fried fruit jam donuts, liqueur-soaked fruit jam pudding, strawberry, jelly, rice pudding...
After an unknown amount of time, as the banquet was about to end, Dumbledore stood up again, and the Great Hall returned to silence.
"Oh, now that everyone has eaten and drunk their fill, I'd like to say a few more words."
Sean pulled out his notebook again, ready to take notes on his old leader's speech.
"At the beginning of the semester, I would like to point out a few things to everyone."
"Attention first-year students: No students are allowed to enter the wooded area on the school grounds. Some of our homeroom teachers should also remember this."
"Furthermore, Mr. Filch, the administrator, also asked me to remind everyone not to cast spells in the hallways during breaks."
"The selection process for Quidditch players will take place in the second week of this semester. Students interested in joining the college team should contact Ms. Hodge."
"There's one more important announcement to make," Dumbledore paused for a moment, seemingly leaving ample room for the students' imaginations, "that this school year, we will be welcoming two new teachers: Professor Quirrell and Professor Sean!"
Quirrell and Sean, who were sitting at opposite ends of the faculty section, stood up almost at the same time and greeted the students below.
A thunderous applause erupted in the hall, even overshadowing the earlier appearance of Harry Potter.
Some sharp-eyed students had spotted Sean Phillips sitting in the teachers' section long before the banquet began. They were just a little incredulous that this famous author and adventurer would come to teach at Hogwarts.
Seeing Sean, who was even more handsome than in the Daily Prophet, some of the bolder, soon-to-graduate witches blushed and shouted enthusiastically.
"Professor Sean, do you have a girlfriend?"
"Professor Sean, I'd like your autograph!"
"Professor Sean, could you tell us your story?"
Among them were quite a few young wizards, all of whom were enthusiastic fans of Shaun. The area with the loudest shouts came from the Hufflepuff long table, where they suddenly displayed a stronger appeal than Gryffindor.
This group of people practically grew up listening to the stories of this legendary senior on campus, and they were very familiar with Sean's books and experiences.
In contrast, Professor Quirrell, standing to the side, appeared somewhat embarrassed.
Few young wizards noticed him, and those who did were mostly drawn to his strange attire—a long, purple turban that completely covered the back of his head, creating a large bulge.
Sean smiled amicably at his colleague, after all, he was a man who truly carried the "ring grandfather" with him at all times, and deserved sufficient respect.
Professor Quirrell responded to Sean's overture with a smile, but no matter how you looked at it, his smile seemed slightly stiff.
Dumbledore pressed his hands down to signal for silence from the audience, then added, "Professor Quirrell is in charge of Defense Against the Dark Arts for fourth-year students and above, and Professor Sean is in charge of Defense Against the Dark Arts for first- to third-year students."
As soon as he finished speaking, some people in the audience were happy while others were sad.
For those witches who are in their senior years or even about to graduate, they lack many opportunities to interact with Professor Sean.
For younger wizards, this means they can listen up close to the author whose books fill their shelves.
If their parents knew, they would definitely send countless books for them to personally ask Professor Sean to sign.
Among these younger wizards, Hermione's expression was the happiest.
You should know that she had just bought a whole bunch of books about the wizarding world during the summer vacation.
Most of her books were by the famous Sean Phillips; she had become a die-hard fan. Unexpectedly, on her very first day of school, she received the wonderful news that her idol would be her professor.
Of course, little Hermione Granger had no idea that even more good news awaited her.
At the very end, Dumbledore added a sentence.
"Finally, I must tell everyone that anyone who does not wish to encounter an accident and die a painful death should not enter the corridor on the right side of the fourth floor."
Before the bombshell news of Professor Sean's impending appointment to teach, this news seemed rather insignificant; only a few students nodded and remembered it.
"Now, before everyone goes to bed, let's sing the school song together!" Dumbledore shouted.
Sean helplessly rubbed his forehead, and the students below the stage, who had been quite excited, paused for a moment.
Dumbledore flicked his wand, and a long golden ribbon floated out, twisting and coiling like a snake above the dining table to form lines of text.
"Everyone choose your favorite tune," Dumbledore called out excitedly, then gestured with his hand as if conducting. "Ready, sing!"
Then all the teachers and students began to sing at the top of their lungs:
"Hogwarts, Hogwarts, Hogwarts, Hogwarts"
Please teach us the knowledge.
Whether we are balding old people
.......
It taught us some valuable knowledge.
Give us back what we have forgotten.
You just need to do your best, and we'll take care of the rest.
We will study hard, until we turn to dust.
After he finished singing, Sean was a little teary-eyed because he seemed to hear the tune of Happy Birthday.
It had been a long time since anyone sang him "Happy Birthday," and to his surprise, singing the Hogwarts school song to the tune of "Happy Birthday" sounded surprisingly good.
Among these "singers," the two most special are undoubtedly the Weasley brothers.
Everyone else had finished singing the song in bits and pieces, but the two of them were still singing along to the slow melody of "Funeral March".
Dumbledore used his wand to conduct the last few bars for them, and after they finished singing, he gave them a round of applause.
Although Sean didn't understand, he chose to respect it.
Behind every strange behavior, there is a deeper reason.
After the dinner, the first-year students from each college returned to their respective college's common room under the guidance of their prefects, while Sean returned to his private office.
He was busy in the afternoon and hadn't had time to clean yet.
With a cleansing incantation of "clean and refreshed," the entire house was instantly transformed.
Sean found the office much more pleasing to the eye.
First, he neatly arranged the books he had brought and the books Snape had given him that afternoon on the bookshelf, giving the whole office a somewhat cultured feel.
Then he tidied up the bed a bit.
Lying on the soft, large bed, Sean felt as if something was missing.
Then I realized, that's right, it's Bella!
Without Bella's weapon as a pillow, he always felt a little strange.
Bella has been kept in his briefcase all this time; it's time to let her out for some fresh air.
Thinking to himself, Sean opened his briefcase and went inside. He found Bella inside looking at some Muggle book with some stimulating content written on it. When she came across the exciting parts, she was unconsciously rubbing her legs together.
She was so engrossed in watching that she didn't even notice when Sean got close.
Sean took a closer look and saw that it was a light novel titled "Kyoto: I Just Want to Be a Gentleman".
Before Bella could react, Sean swept her up in a princess carry, lifted her from his briefcase, and tossed her onto the bed.
Bella hasn't returned to Hogwarts for many years since graduating.
She was somewhat intoxicated by the unique scent of Hogwarts in the air... as if she had returned to her school days.
"Does this look familiar?"
Sean asked Bella how she was feeling while having her kneel down in front of the bed.
"Familiar...a little nostalgic..." Bella nodded, clearly unaware of what was about to happen.
"To let you taste something you'll miss even more."
Sean pulled out his weapon from which he had made the spoiled seafood and fed Bella the milk she hadn't had for days.
No one could have imagined that Hogwarts now harbors a former Dark Lord and one of his most loyal servants... no, if you include Wormtail, there are two of them.
but.
Sean looked at Bella, whose eyes were already rolling back and who was about to faint.
As a professor at Hogwarts, he had already dealt with a Death Eater, and he had dedicated his efforts to protecting Hogwarts.
