Hogwarts: The Witch Education Handbook

Chapter 3 The Owl's Letter

Astral projection is the spell of the Soul-Stealing Curse, one of the three unforgivable curses.

It is a very evil form of black magic that, when used on a person, will cause that person to lose their mind and act entirely according to the caster's intentions.

Such spells are often ineffective against people with strong willpower, including Bella, who has been studying in Azkaban for many years.

So, just now, in order to increase the success rate of the spell, Sean deliberately provoked Bella's anger and used the magic while she was blinded by rage.

Seeing Bella suddenly freeze in front of him, her eyes glazed over, Sean knew his spell had worked.

Now he can focus on preparing for the training.

Sean gently stroked Bella's hot, delicate body, and couldn't help but sigh in his heart.

Bella's smooth and delicate skin makes it hard to believe that she is already over thirty years old.

Her thick, shiny black hair, full jaw, thin lips, and high nose bridge further accentuated her striking features.

All of this changed in less than a month—when she was rescued last month, she looked haggard and withered.

She seemed like a completely different person in just one month, radiating the charm of a mature woman.

Sean set the VHS (a 90s home video camera) aside and began the final preparations before tuning it.

......

When Bella regained consciousness, it was already noon the next day.

For some reason, she did not feel hungry at all despite not having eaten all day; instead, her mouth smelled fishy and foul.

Did you eat spoiled seafood?

Bella wasn't sure either.

Just as Bella was struggling to get up, she found herself tied to a sofa with a color television in front of her.

Hearing the noise coming from the living room, Sean, who was cooking, came out of the kitchen.

"woke up?"

"You bastard, what did you do to me?" Bella ignored Sean and asked through gritted teeth.

"Oh, you're asking about that?" Sean slapped his forehead as if suddenly realizing something. "I can actually answer that question for you."

With that, Sean inserted a burned disc into a DVD player and started playing it on the television.

Bella had a bad feeling.

But out of curiosity about what had happened to her, she continued reading.

The film opens with her kneeling in front of a mirror, almost exactly as she was before she lost consciousness.

Then she looked at (15 words deleted)

"Ha, is that all you've got? I see you're nothing special."

Bella had already anticipated the scene in the film when all the clothes fell to the ground.

She had long since dedicated her soul to her great master, so she didn't care about physical gains or losses at all.

However, what happened next in the film was something she hadn't expected.

What's even more hateful is...

Sean pulled her left arm, which bore the Dark Mark, behind her back and placed it in the most conspicuous position in the camera's view.

He even gave her instructions in the film.

What blasphemy!

Bella was trembling all over, almost losing her mind with rage.

She now only wants to beg for her master's forgiveness through death.

But at that moment, her voice came through the video.

"Master!" "Master!"

Bella couldn't bear the blow and fainted in a fit of anger.

Sean, who had been standing nearby, went back to the kitchen, turned off the stove, served the freshly cooked noodles, and sat down next to the unconscious Bella, continuing to watch with great interest.

They would also offer a few comments.

"Hey, here..."

"The camera isn't focused here; we should change the angle."

"This won't work..."

Throughout the process, he would occasionally glance down at Bella, who was still fast asleep.

That's it?

...

evening.

As the sun quietly sets, the sky is painted with a mixture of orange-red and violet hues, like an oil painting by a master, rendering the clouds with greater delicacy and depth. The sky is also gently covered by the afterglow of the sunset, and the light gradually softens, painting the whole world with dreamlike colors.

At that moment, a man was hunched over a desk by the window, writing something furiously.

Upon closer inspection, the title of the article was "The Days I Lived and Eat with the Wild Man of Shennongjia".

It looks like a novel.

He would sometimes ponder, sometimes write quickly, the pen tip dancing across the paper, making a rustling sound.

Whenever he wrote something particularly interesting, a satisfied smile would unconsciously appear on the man's face.

But in reality, his inner self was far less composed than he appeared.

He was waiting for a letter.

A letter that was of great importance to him.

Time passed gradually as the sun set, and the afterglow on the horizon slowly faded away.

The man's expression finally showed some emotion.

Why... haven't we arrived yet?

Just as he was about to stand up, a "tap tap tap tap" sound suddenly came from outside the window.

Sean opened the window and saw a snow-white owl clinging to the windowsill, carrying a letter in its beak.

Sean didn't rush to get the envelope.

He first smoothed the owl's somewhat ruffled feathers, then took out the snacks he had prepared earlier from the desk drawer, and finally swapped the snacks in his hand with the letter in the owl's beak.

The owl, pleased with its reward, circled a few times in the sky before taking flight and disappearing into the clouds in a flash.

After closing the window, Sean quickly picked up the envelope. On the back of the envelope was a wax seal, a shield emblem, and inside the emblem was a capital "H" surrounded by a lion, a snake, a badger, and an eagle.

He opened the envelope, took out the letter, which read:

"Dear Mr. Sean Phillips:
