Hogwarts: The Witch Education Handbook

Chapter 41 Good Dogs, Bad People

Well known.

Triangles are stable.

And since Hermione, Harry, and Ron formed the trio, the last missing piece of the puzzle for this little group has been completed.

Harry was struggling to find a balance between his homework and Quidditch practice.

But Hermione helped him solve the problem very well and even lent him a copy of "The Amazing Quidditch".

The text records a Quidditch World Cup match that took place in 1473. The match produced more than 700 fouls, and even the referee would sometimes disappear, only to reappear in the Sahara Desert several months later.

Of course, none of that is the main point. The main point is that Snape confiscated the book on some random excuse.

When Harry went to the office to retrieve the book, he unexpectedly discovered that Snape's leg injury was caused by Cerberus.

When Harry returned to Ron and Hermione, he told them everything he had just seen.

"Do you know what that means?" Harry finally said, holding his breath. "On Halloween Eve, he was trying to get past that three-headed dog! When we saw him, he was heading there—looking for that thing the dog was guarding! I bet my flying broomstick he let that troll in to distract everyone!"

Hermione's eyes were wide open.

"No—he wouldn't," she said. "I know he's not a good person, but he would never steal something that Dumbledore is keeping under strict guard."

"To be honest, Hermione, you always think all teachers are saints," Ron said bluntly. "If this were Professor Sean, I certainly wouldn't say anything. Even if he did go to that place, it would definitely be Dumbledore who sent him."

"But what about Snape? He's capable of anything."

Ron's words can be summarized in one sentence:

If a dog bites Professor Shaun, the dog is bad and the person is good; if a dog bites Professor Snape, the dog is good and the person is bad.

However, it seems... Ron's words did touch Hermione's heart, and she thought of what Professor Sean had said in the girls' restroom on Christmas Eve.

if...

Before she could figure it out, Ron threw out a new question: What was Snape looking for, and what was Cerberus guarding?

"I've been searching for someone like you, someone I want to be by your side and protect you."

Sean glanced down at the sentence he had just written twice, then quickly crossed it out with his pen.

That's too cheesy.

He would never send such a letter to Tonks.

In fact, he is currently replying to Tonks. Since Halloween, when Sean invited Tonks to be a teaching assistant at Hogwarts, their correspondence has become increasingly frequent.

They send almost two emails a day.

Under Sean's deliberate guidance, their conversations ranged from all over the world, covering a wide range of topics.

From the history of Hogwarts to the escalating conflict between pure-bloods and non-pure-bloods and its underlying causes, from how many steps it takes to put a polar bear in a refrigerator to the hidden connections between the various constellations in the sky.

Oh, by the way, they've recently been talking about the recent weather in London and the latest fashion items from Paris Fashion Week.

Tonks, who is also Muggle-born, has a lot of insight into this. Although she has a carefree personality, this is all predicated on her being a woman. Most women are born to love beauty, and she is no exception.

But this caused trouble for the owl who delivered the letters to the two.

Sean felt that it looked a few pounds thinner than when he first saw it, and its dark circles were much more pronounced, which made him worry that it might fall asleep in the air halfway through its flight and fall down.

After several days of persistent persuasion from Sean, Tonks finally agreed to teach at Hogwarts.

However, it was only the second half of the semester, and she still harbored the dream of becoming an Auror.

Sean didn't take it to heart; in other words, it was within his expectations.

He believed that with his handsome appearance and great reputation, few witches could remain calm under his passionate advances.

If they can come, it means the plan has succeeded.

Moreover, he is confident that he will be able to successfully "educate" the other party after his term ends and make them obedient.

As for feelings?

Don't joke around. Tonks might be serious, but Sean won't.

This stuff can't be eaten as a meal.

In Sean's view, when it comes to interests, emotions are just a tool, a tool to serve interests.

When he told Bella the news, Bella gave him a flirtatious look.

"So you're just going to bully your friend's aunt like this?"

Sean didn't say anything, but took a belt out of his briefcase.

Upon seeing the belt, Bella skillfully clasped her hands together and reached for it.

Sean tightened the leather strap around her hands and tied a knot. Then, he found a black strip of cloth somewhere and blindfolded Bella with it.

In the darkness, Bella's words became even sharper and more unrestrained.

"You don't mean to have her...and her aunt serve you, do you?"

"Why are you so quiet? Did I hit the nail on the head?"

When she mentioned Professor Sean again, Bella deliberately elongated the last syllable, a shift in tone as fluid as a crystalline liquid.

It flowed naturally from her body.

Seemingly realizing that her words hadn't provoked Sean, Bella paused for a long time before finally speaking again.

"Professor Sean, I never expected you to be this kind of person."

"If you have the chance, shouldn't you also include my poor sister (Tonks' mother)?"

"My niece is being disobedient. When she arrives, I would appreciate it if Professor Sean could give her a proper talking-to. Thank you for your trouble, Professor."

"I have nothing else to offer the professor, only..."

Bella's barrage of words ignited Sean's last shred of reason, and he put down the whip...
