Chapter 46 Stealing a Ship, But an Alien Spaceship

"Ivy, you're not Little Pa's slave, why are you calling me master?"

With Connors gone, the supercar suddenly became quieter. Harley Quinn, still fixated on the previous question, asked Ivy in the passenger seat.

"It's possible." Ivy still exuded a powerful aura as a mature woman, but her words were completely at odds with her image.

"Catwoman" Selena quietly pricked up her ears; she had never heard of such a strange name before.

Even more strangely, while it was Poison Ivy who kept calling her "Master," Selena's body, hidden beneath her bodysuit, began to feel slightly hot.

How novel, how exciting! Selena sat silently in the back seat, not daring to speak.

Harley Quinn shook her head. These two weren't in a plantation owner and slave relationship. Besides, wasn't Poison Ivy always hating humans and not even respecting Batman?

What happened that I don't know about?

Harley Quinn's curiosity, once piqued, could not be quelled, so she simply turned the steering wheel and chased after Connors.

At this moment, Connors stood in front of the large iron gate of the abandoned warehouse. After saying "Check the rooms," the last trace of movement inside completely disappeared.

The spider-sense detected that there was more than just Bane and Killer Croc inside. It seems that these two have become friends and have gained a new partner?

Connors took a few steps back to prevent the two behemoths, Killer Croc and Bane, from suddenly opening the door and knocking him down.

In the dimly lit warehouse, Bain and Killer Croc exchanged a glance. Looking at Connors's solitary figure on the monitor, Bain pointed towards the iron gate:

"You, go and kill him."

"Me?" Killer Croc paused for a moment.

"Yes, it's not like I'll go fight and you'll make the toxins, is it?" Scarecrow said to Killer Croc, standing next to Bane.

After abandoning the Joker, he and the Riddler quickly put their former partner behind them and turned to the more violent but equally shrewd Bane.

Killer Croc was a complete accidental find here, but this guy is not very bright and has very tough skin, making him perfect as a henchman.

"Then why not let him go?" Killer Croc pointed at Riddler with his thick tail. "That guy always likes to leave clues for Batman to prove that he's smarter than Batman."

"Keeping him around will only ruin our plans again."

The riddle solver remained completely unfazed:

"I will use a scheme to lure all the security personnel in the Tower of Venn. You can't do that with just violence, you ugly crocodile."

Connors nodded, looking at the atomizing devices being modified in the warehouse, and said:

"So that's how it is. You plan to climb Wayne Tower, the tallest building in Gotham, and then poison the entire city using vaporization?"

Before he could finish speaking, the riddle man and the scarecrow jumped aside, and the riddle man shrieked:

"Bane! Didn't you say this place was safe?! How did he get in?"

"Oh, this iron gate is hard to get through, so I went through the other side," Connors said, pointing to the other side of the warehouse.

"There's clearly a lock there—." The riddle teller was puzzled.

"I originally thought you were with that bastard Bat, but I never expected you to send him there yourself," Bane interrupted the Riddler, speaking to Connors, who had inexplicably appeared in the warehouse.

"Yes," Connors nodded, "I was planning to come and work with you, but I didn't expect the Scarecrow and the Riddler to arrive first."

"Yes, we've wanted to get rid of the Joker for a long time. That guy had a chance to kill Batman in Gotham Reservoir, but we let him go for the ridiculous reason that 'only he can kill Batman,'" the Riddler said indignantly.

"Who told you to speak?" Connors was talking to Bain when the Riddler interrupted him, so he simply threw a riddle at him and told him to go play with it. "Aren't you the smartest person in the world? Prove Goldbach's Conjecture to me."

Standing to the side, the scarecrow, with its thin body and limbs longer than those of a normal person, opened its mouth but swallowed back the sarcasm that was about to come out.

"Cooperate? What makes you think you can?" Bain asked Connors after the Riddler was dismissed.

Connors: "I can unlock it."

"Anything else?"

"They also know a few tricks."

"...Anything else?"

"It can also hypnotize—but only ordinary people. I tried it on you guys as soon as I entered the warehouse, and found that this ability doesn't seem to work very well."

Bain nodded, his eyes beneath the mask were frighteningly red. He stood up, his height of about 2.5 meters and his abnormally strong muscles exuding an imposing aura.

"So, you're completely useless to me?"

As he watched the tubes in Bain's body begin to deliver poison, causing his already powerful muscles to swell even further, Connors slapped his forehead:

"sorry."

"It's too late to apologize now." Bain's voice grew hoarse as he strode heavily toward Connors, ready to crush the guy into a pulp.

"Sorry, I forgot to deal with you." Connors finished speaking and dodged Bain's swinging fist.

With his physical limits, spider sense, and precise maneuvering, Connors is now completely unafraid of Bane. A head-on collision might not work, but fighting isn't just about head-on confrontations.

So he removed the poison tube from Bain's body.

Bain paused for a moment, then re-inserted the tube that was continuously delivering poison into Connors' body and continued his attack.

But Connors used the same trick again, pulling out the tube once more and casually taking the "fear gas" container off the scarecrow and attaching it to it, then holding it high.

Killer Croc scratched his head, feeling that this scene was somewhat like when he went to the hospital for an IV drip before he became a monster.

Three minutes later.

Bain had been injected with a large amount of fear gas and was standing alone in the warehouse grounds practicing military boxing, clearly in a hallucination.

The scarecrow couldn't withstand Bane's poison and lay weakly on the ground, convulsing uncontrollably.

The riddle solver frantically worked out mathematical puzzles on paper with a pen in hand.

Killer Crocodile looked left and right, as if he was the only one left who could make a move.

So he yelled at Connors from a distance, then charged toward the warehouse's iron gate, smashed it open, and continued his charge, tearing the manhole cover off with his claws before leaping down into it.

Connors, who had already taken his stance and was waiting to receive the Killer Croc's attack, stood still, somewhat unsure of the Killer Croc's intentions. He thought the Croc might dig a hole underground and launch an attack at the opportune moment.

But after waiting for a long time, even after Bane had finished his entire set of military boxing, Killer Croc still hadn't appeared.

"Is he behaving himself now?" Connors asked with concern as he watched Bane stop punching as the "fear toxin" gradually wore off.

"—" Bane, his eyes red, pulled out the tube inserted into the "fear gas," stood up again, eager to try.

But this time, before Connors could even make a move, strong vines that rose from the ground bound him tightly.

Ivy (Poison Ivy), Selena Gomez (Catwoman), and Harley Quinn each walked with their own graceful steps.

They slowly entered through the large iron gate.

Harley Quinn looked around disappointedly, preparing to continue asking questions about her "master".

Poison Ivy reverted to her aloof demeanor, while Catwoman Selena avoided Connors's gaze.

Now, whenever she sees Connors, she thinks of Ivy burying her head in the semen sample that morning.

"How did you know I was here?" Connors asked, puzzled.

Poison Ivy pointed to the taxi parked in the tree outside.

"I was hoping to see what plans Bane and his crew had up their sleeves so I could use them to fulfill my promise to Selena, but it turns out these guys are only interested in sabotage." Connors shook his head, feeling utterly bored.

Upon hearing her part, "Catwoman" Selena finally turned her gaze, which she had been avoiding, to Connors. "Now that Batman doesn't want to rely on us and is coming out on his own, what about my part of the plan?"

If you can't steal it, then rob it! Before Connors could finish speaking, the surveillance screen in the warehouse started making a hissing sound.

The surveillance camera then displayed static, followed by a strange fluctuation before words appeared amidst the static, and a sound began to play:

You are not alone.

Inside the abandoned warehouse, Harley Quinn picked up a large wooden mallet, ready to smash the surveillance camera to pieces, but was stopped by Connors.

He glanced at the bewildered "Catwoman" Selena beside him, and a plan to continue the theft was already forming in his mind:

"Selena, we can't steal Batman, but how about we steal an alien spaceship together?"
