Chapter 98, Shall we start a game?

"Would you like to tie your hair up?"

Connors kindly offered advice to "Poison Ivy" Ivy, who readily accepted it. The vines on her arms grew automatically, binding together the large red waves that cascaded down her back.

However, Poison Ivy's long hair reached her waist, and although tying it up revealed her beautifully curved back, her hair still inevitably fell to the ground.

So Connors simply grabbed his tied-up red hair with one hand and truly... rode off on horseback.

"It would be nice to have a mirror," Connors said with a hint of regret.

Because the world was experiencing the "White Martian Invasion" at the time, Connors did not act too recklessly and only lasted forty minutes.

The increase in the green of all things from 10% to 13% is negligible for Connors, but Poison Ivy seems to benefit greatly.

Led by Harley Quinn, the Birds of Prey team, after meeting up with Ivy, headed towards the meteorite in Gotham, which has now become a dust factory.

The team, originally formed to rescue Connors, has now changed its nature and is now solely dedicated to causing destruction.

Whether the target of the sabotage was Gotham's factory or the White Martians' factory, it made little difference to them.

After Connors finished, he drove his tentacles in one direction and sped off. "Magnification" and "Spider-Sense" allowed him to find Wonder Woman Diana's location without much difficulty.

Diana had just smashed through the outer shell of a White Martian factory and entered. The passageways inside were intricate and complex, and the White Martians appeared and disappeared unpredictably, constantly firing bullets at her from various angles.

Fortunately, Diana didn't have the habit of taking bullets head-on. Instead, she relied on her "Athena's Vision" combined with the reaction speed granted by Hermes, the messenger of the gods, to continuously deflect the bullets using the Guardian Ring.

However, once Diana entered the factory, she immediately lost her ability to move and was forced to defend herself.

Just as she was struggling to hold on, the material beneath her feet cracked. With all her attention focused on blocking the bullets, she didn't have time to dodge and fell straight down.

The White Martians' factory is not a living entity, but its internal structure is similar to that of a living organism, with a network-like structure everywhere.

Wonder Woman Diana had just stepped on a vein, but as the vein broke, she immediately lost her balance.

He fell down.

Oops!

Diana's heart tightened, especially when her body fell and she was caught tightly by a white Martian. She instinctively tried to strike the protective silver ring, but the white Martian seemed to have sensed her intention and held her tightly with both hands.

With her hands bound, she couldn't use her greatsword or lasso of truth, so she could only slam her head into the white Martian in front of her, trying to smash it to pieces.

However, the white Martian's head twisted strangely before she could collide with it, causing her attack to miss.

Diana was incredibly strong; even using a combination of "magnification" and "human limits," they almost couldn't catch her.

Connors sighed inwardly, his appearance instantly transforming from a white Martian to his usual Gotham black trench coat, and he whispered:

"It's me, don't resist."

Diana frowned, instinctively thinking that the Connors in front of her was a fake, but a sentence he said next dispelled her suspicions:

"How's your learning of that particular knowledge going?"

Diana, the "Wonder Woman," blushed.

"Is it really you? I thought these monsters were impersonating you to fool me. As for that knowledge, I only found out what you were doing behind my back after I learned it."

Connors chuckled softly:

"But I believe that if anyone else dared to do anything strange to you, you would throw them away, right?"

Diana did not refute this statement, but simply drew a greatsword from her magic pocket:

"Will you come with me to destroy this factory and wipe out those alien monsters?"

Connors beckoned: "Come with me."

These factories were largely similar in structure, and because they were vehicles, Connors knew even more about them than the White Martians.

Under his guidance, Wonder Woman Diana bypassed countless white Martians, stealthily making her way until Connors stopped ahead.

In front of them, suspended in mid-air, was an object that resembled a heart, constantly contracting, surrounded by densely packed white Martians.

"Look, that's the central core. Inside the core is a matrix crystal. If we destroy or remove it, we can shut down the entire factory."

Connors pointed to the heart-like, contracting core and said...

"That makes things easier."

Diana nodded, completely trusting Connors' words, and took off the starlight tiara from her forehead and tossed it over.

Unfortunately, the Starlight Crown struck the central core but failed to destroy it. Instead, it bounced back weakly and fell into Diana's hands.

Wonder Woman Diana can use more than just the Starlight Crown. Seeing that the headband was not working, she simply took off the Lasso of Truth and tied it to the hilt of her greatsword.

She swung the greatsword like a giant meteor hammer, smashing the central core to pieces, causing the crystals inside to fall out.

"It's a success?" Diana asked, looking at the shattered crystals that had crashed onto the hard, veined ground.

Connors nodded. Only he could bring Diana so easily into the factory. Apart from the firepower of the White Martians, the factory actually had no ability to resist.

"This is the end, Diana. Take me to another factory with your pegasus."

Connors said that he came to Diana because he needed her flying mount.

Although he could fly quickly with a black smoke cloak by "enlarging" "Fallen Warhorse", the distance he was about to cover was too great, and Connors was unwilling to waste his energy on it.

Furthermore, and quite importantly, he discovered that the black smoke could devour these tentacles to grow itself, but it needed to digest them after eating them and could not be used for the time being.

If it weren't for needing tentacles to travel, Connors would have already had the black smoke devour it.

Now that Diana's skeletal pegasus is available, there's no need for these tentacles to remain. The black smoke can safely devour them and digest them slowly.

Connors then sat once more on the skeleton horse, his arms wrapped around Wonder Woman Diana's slender waist, and whispered in her ear:
