Douluo Continent: I am the Ice Archer, my ice power is invincible.

Chapter 49 The Scoundrel Seeks Abuse

Before we knew it, the first ten rounds of the competition had already passed.

The teams participating in the qualifiers have already shown a clear gap in skill level.

So far, the Tianshui, Shenfeng, Leiting, Chihuo, and Shrek teams have all maintained an undefeated record, winning all ten matches.

These five academies did not encounter each other in the previous competitions.

However, after today's eleventh round of competition, the top three teams from the five colleges will be determined.

Because the Divine Wind Academy and the Thunder Academy will face off, while the Blazing Fire Academy will be facing Shrek Academy.

There will inevitably be two losers in these two matches.

Tianshui Academy easily defeated Xiangjia Academy last time, demonstrating impressive offensive power. Their opponents today withdrew from the competition after learning the draw results.

Game start.

In the first round, Shenfeng Academy faced off against Leiting Academy on the central arena.

This clash of titans has garnered significant attention.

Thunder Academy is led by Yu Tianxin, who possesses the top-tier beast martial soul, the Blue Lightning Tyrannosaurus Rex. He is a level 43 power-attack type battle soul master.

The team also includes a level 43 control-type Soul Master with a Thunder Spider Martial Soul, two other level 41 Soul Masters, and the remaining three are Soul Venerables.

However, in terms of overall strength, Kamikaze Academy is stronger.

Feng Xiaotian possesses the mutated beast martial soul, Gale Two-Headed Wolf, with a soul power level of 46, close to 47. He not only has extremely powerful attack power, but also the ability to fly, and his speed is also top-notch.

Moreover, besides Feng Xiaotian, the team also includes three other Soul Masters and three Soul Venerables, all of whom are attack-type Soul Masters.

In the previous ten matches, Feng Xiaotian had never played, but his teammates were still able to easily defeat their opponents and achieve a ten-game winning streak.

Facing Thunder Academy, Feng Xiaotian dared not be careless and personally took to the stage.

After a fierce battle, the Kamikaze team finally defeated the Thunder team, securing their eleventh victory.

Soon it will be Blazing Academy's turn to take the stage.

After leaving the arena, Feng Xiaotian immediately found Huo Wu and Huo Wushuang.

Xiao Han and the members of the Tianshui team were also there. They didn't need to play, but came to support their brother academy.

Feng Xiaotian said:

"The Shrek team has some strength, but I believe you will definitely win."

Huo Wushuang grinned and said confidently:

"Is there any need to say more? I've already seen it from the previous ten matches. The strongest players on their team are those two Battle Soul Masters. The kid who controls the field has Blue Silver Grass as his spirit. When he encounters us fire-type spirit masters, isn't he just asking for a beating? That Evil Eye White Tiger spirit master has considerable attack power, but he won't gain any advantage against my One-Horned Fire Typhoon."

Xiao Han reminded him:

"You're right. However, Shrek Academy's team leader is the theoretical master Yu Xiaogang. Tang San is countered by you, so it's possible they'll withdraw from the competition."

Huo Wu said arrogantly:

"Withdraw? I've finally encountered a team that's somewhat challenging, I don't want them to withdraw."

Xiao Han ignored Huo Wu.

He knew that the Blazing Fire team would most likely win this match.

Because, given Yu Xiaogang's personality, he probably won't let the Shrek team field its full strength.

Since Tang San did not consume the immortal herb, his Blue Silver Grass naturally lost its fire immunity ability, and neither Blue Silver Entanglement nor Blue Silver Prison could pose a threat to fire-type soul masters.

The Eight Spider Lances are poisonous, but Tang San would not use them lightly. Besides, fire-type soul masters have a natural resistance to poisons.

On the other side, the Shrek team.

Upon learning that their opponent today was Blazing Fire Academy, Yu Xiaogang gathered everyone together.

"Your opponents today are Blazing Academy, who are quite strong. They have never lost a match in the qualifiers so far. I suggest you forfeit the match."

"Withdraw? Master, we've finally met a decent opponent, how can we withdraw? We haven't lost a single match."

Ma Hongjun was the first to disagree.

In the previous ten matches, Ma Hongjun and Ning Rongrong never played in order to hide their strength, and Oscar only played in the match against Xiangjia Academy.

Most of those matches were played by Tang San, Dai Mubai, Xiao Wu, and Zhu Zhuqing, along with three substitutes.

Facing a team composed entirely of fire-type soul masters, Ma Hongjun, having finally gotten a chance to shine, naturally didn't want to miss it.

"Master, why are we forfeiting the match?"

Yu Xiaogang sighed and explained:

"Time is running out, so I'll keep it short. As you've all seen, Elephant Armor Academy, which is also an elemental academy, has lost to you, Divine Wind, Thunder, Heavenly Water, and Blazing Fire Academy in succession. They follow the standard extreme style, maximizing their single defensive ability, but that alone is not enough to beat strong teams."

Although the Divine Wind, Thunder, Heavenly Water, and Blazing Fire Academies are all single-elemental schools, they do not only use the Limit Flow method, but also use the Balance Flow method to unleash the Limit Flow, which is why they can go further.

Your opponents, the Blazing Fire team, possess fire-based offensive, fire-based crowd control, fire-based agile offensive, and fire-based support abilities. In previous matches, because their opponents weren't strong enough, they somewhat concealed their true strength. Today, facing you, I think they won't hold back anymore.

Like Thunder Academy, Blazing Fire Academy is known for its offensive capabilities.

Although Mu Bai, Xiao Wu, and Zhu Qing all possess considerable offensive capabilities, none of them are immune to flames, not to mention Xiao San's Blue Silver Grass spirit. Ma Hongjun is also a fire-type spirit master, but he alone is not enough; this is, after all, a team battle.

The competition has only gone through ten rounds, but Xiangjia Academy has already lost five games. Even though we lost to Tianshui, Shenfeng, Leiting and Chihuo later, we can still enter the qualifying rounds and the finals with a fifth-place finish.

Therefore, I advise you to forfeit this match. Sometimes, necessary forfeiting is a good strategy.

Tang San and the others looked at each other in bewilderment.

They all knew very well that Yu Xiaogang's analysis made a lot of sense.

However, everyone felt resentful that they had to withdraw from the competition when they faced their first strong team.

"Teacher, let us play! Aren't the strong teams perfect for testing our abilities?"

Tang San's tone was very firm.

Ma Hongjun said excitedly:

"Master, isn't it my turn to go now?"

Yu Xiaogang nodded; he knew Tang San wouldn't admit defeat easily.

"Xiao San, Mu Bai, Xiao Wu, Ma Hongjun, Tai Long, Huang Yuan, and Jing Ling, the seven of you will come up. Remember, act according to the situation and don't force things."

"clear."

In previous matches, Yu Xiaogang deliberately concealed the strength of his team.

The spirit fusion skill of Dai Mubai and Zhu Zhuqing, the Netherworld White Tiger, Ma Hongjun's Evil Fire, and Ning Rongrong's support have not appeared.

This time, in order to face Blazing Academy, they had no choice but to send Ma Hongjun.

Soon, the two teams of fourteen people arrived at the center arena.

Among the Blazing Academy team, Huo Wu has the highest level, is a control-type, and her soul power has reached level 43.

Huo Wushuang is level 42 and follows an explosive style. He is recognized as the strongest frontal attacker among the Soul Masters who have already appeared on stage in this preliminary round.

In addition, there is a level 38 Fire Leopard Martial Soul Master with a strong attack type, two level 39 Fire Crane Martial Soul Masters with agility attack type, and two Mars Martial Soul Masters with support but some attack capabilities.

Shrek Team's side.

Tang San and Dai Mubai are both level 42, Xiao Wu is level 39, Tai Long and Ma Hongjun are both level 38, and Huang Yuan and Jing Ling are both level 35.
