Chapter 929 Taking the Lead

Peter ultimately didn't stop Deadpool, leaving the evil Deadpool army to them to deal with, but he did make sure to gag the dead man's mouth. This thing was a walking zombie bomb; one wrong move and it could wipe out the entire city of New York. If Deadpool could guarantee his own safety, could he guarantee the safety of other passersby?

However, this changes the ratio of Deadpool Legion to Evil Deadpool Legion to 4:6, making their battle much more difficult. But perhaps there's no need to worry too much, since it's 616 Deadpools; being at a disadvantage might actually be an advantage.

"Are we really just going to dump that guy on Deadpool—I mean Deadpool from Universe 616?"

"For example, if the comic is called 'Deadpool Kills the Marvel Universe,' then all the plot points have to serve that theme. As for the setting and stuff, they can be completely abandoned for the sake of the subsequent plot. But don't worry, you won't get that treatment, after all, you're the protagonists of the story."

"So, we really are comic book characters?"

"Good question, kid. If that's really the case, then this universe was indeed destroyed by some supernatural force, and the Beyonder was able to pull this universe here as part of the Battle Realm." Half-Rostron finished his critique without holding back: "This means that the comic book artists in this universe can create things that destroy their own universe, and they don't have the power to do so. It doesn't make sense from any angle."

Iron Boy scratched his head. It seemed to be true. If you guys were so invincible, wouldn't you have just released a comic book and returned to your own Earth? How did you end up here with the Beyonder?

You traveled through time to find my half-body and tried to deal with me. But haven't you considered this? Even if you find that half of me, what can you do? He couldn't beat me before, do you really think you can defeat me now?"

Half-Rostron muttered as he cast a Vishanti protective charm on everyone: "I don't like this guy at all."

"I know all about your plan, Strange." Peter stared at the dark, strange creature, choosing not to attack immediately. "Don't you think it would be appropriate to leave Strange behind after your plan succeeds?"

Dark Strange glanced at Peter, then placed the Beyonder Beacon to the other side, scrutinizing the seemingly ordinary Spider-Man before him, and asked rhetorically, "How much do you know?"

"Not much, but enough. Your plan can succeed, but the cost is too high."

"I don't care about the cost." Strange said, ignoring the Punisher's shot. Peter looked at the Punisher speechlessly, and the Punisher coldly replied, "What's the point of wasting words with a monster like this?"

Why not just attack directly?

I agree with that.

Dark Strange laughed instantly, then his body began to twist and contort. Thor, the father, swung his hammer with all his might, but Dark Strange was taken away by a portal. Half of Strange immediately opened a portal back, allowing Mjolnir to strike Dark Strange directly on the head. The latter flew backward but was not seriously injured. Then Peter opened another Suspended Ring Portal, and Twilight Wolf, empowered by Strange, descended from the sky and pierced through Dark Strange.

Dark Strange immediately grabbed at Twilight Wolf, and then in the next instant, Twilight Wolf disappeared. His time jumped directly to after Dark Strange's attack. It was Iron Boy who used his time technology to help everyone dodge this attack.

Dark Strange almost instinctively intended to use the Time Stone to reverse the effect, but then realized that, like Half-Rostron in Peter's team, his Time Stone had also been confiscated by the Beyonder.

As for the Punisher who started it all? He's already stuffed the Beacon of the Transcendent into his bag.

"Alright, forget about the fighting, let's just get out of here. Let's not blow up Stan or Marvel headquarters—although I think a lot of people want to do that." Peter said as he drew a slingshot, but Dark Strange closed the slingshot Peter had opened the moment the team regrouped: "Your magical skills are still too poor, Spider-Man."

"Yes, I know, that's why I didn't plan to use the Suspended Ring Gate to run away. We have an Almighty Heavenly Father."

As lightning engulfed everyone, Thor led the entire team away from the spot. Dark Strange only saw Stan Lee, who had witnessed everything from behind the sofa, and couldn't help but sigh, while black pus oozed from his own wounds.

As for Peter and his group, they had arrived at another location. Peter hadn't even had a chance to talk to the Punisher about his sudden shooting when he realized something was wrong. After looking around, he turned to Thor and asked, "Where are we?"

Thor looked around, his expression serious: "If I'm not mistaken, this should be Asgard in some universe."

But all that's left here is ruins.
