Pokémon, who made him the gym leader?

Chapter 71 Master Gu Xin, save me!

In front of the three top officers of Team Rocket and the boss, they said they wanted to infiltrate Team Rocket's base.

Guxin could only give a thumbs up to this; she's truly brave! Director Lijia is indeed a courageous girl!

"Eileen, I probably can't go out with you today," Gu Xin said apologetically to Eileen.

The two had originally planned to continue their trip over the next couple of days, but with this unexpected event, Gu Xin definitely had to rush over.

The Team Rocket base in Celadon City is definitely one of the largest Team Rocket bases in Kanto, so this clash is likely to be quite significant.

Even if Sakaki were to warn Apollo and the others at the Yuhong City base to evacuate now, it would definitely be too late. There is too much important data in a large base, and it would be impossible to evacuate in a short time.

Moreover, Officer Jenny is in the group, and she must have already notified the Alliance and Officer Jenny of Rainbow City.

"It's okay, but you must be careful."

Eileen was a little worried, but she still gently supported her childhood sweetheart.

She wasn't a trainer, so she couldn't go with Guxin; otherwise, she would be holding Guxin back. Queen Irene didn't want to be a burden to Guxin.

"Don't worry," Gu Xin replied with a smile.

Then Guxin immediately sent a message to Lance, put away his main Pokémon, stuffed Clefairy who was taking a nap under the shade of a tree into his backpack, and rode Articuno towards Celadon City.

Yuhong Rocket Team Base.

Inside the control room, Apollo was looking at a research document.

"How is it?"

Lance, feeling utterly bored, lay back in his chair and asked Apollo.

"Failed again. The genetic rejection is severe." Apollo shook his head, then picked up the ringing communicator and saw that it was the boss calling.

"Boss, what? Yes, I understand."

Apollo's already somewhat gloomy face darkened, and he respectfully responded before hanging up the phone.

After the call ended, Apollo looked at the monitor screen, his expression shifting between anger and uncertainty.

"What's wrong?" Lance sensed something was amiss and dropped his relaxed and carefree demeanor.

"Athena, come to the control room." Apollo contacted another senior officer.

"The boss said someone has already infiltrated the base."

"That can't be right." Lance frowned. This underground base was very well hidden, and it was built right under Game City. There were their people all up there.

"Nothing is impossible." Apollo's already somewhat gloomy face looked terrible at this moment.

"And Officer Jenny should have received the message by now. She's backed up the important data and information. We have to abandon this base," Apollo said coldly.

The door to the control room opened, and a woman with red hair, wearing a white cadre uniform, walked in.

She is none other than Athena, a fellow high-ranking officer! She is also one of the four generals of Team Rocket.

"Lance, you and Athena go and find that intruder. We absolutely cannot let her get away."

Apollo was controlling the computer. The gene fusion data and information being researched at this base were extremely important and absolutely could not be lost; they had to be backed up as soon as possible.

"Hey~ I'm really good at catching mice."

Lance slowly curled his lips into a cruel smile.

……

Rainbow City is a city located in the central part of the Kanto region. It is one of the largest cities in Kanto and is second in size only to the mega-metropolis of Goldenrod City.

The so-called Jade Rainbow is the color of a dreamlike rainbow, hence Jade Rainbow City is also known as Rainbow City.

Celadon City is actually quite famous in Kanto. Although it is not as developed as Saffron City, Celadon City's Celadon Department Store is famous throughout the region, as is Celadon Game City.

This is the largest arcade in the Kanto region, and the highest reward in the arcade is even a pseudo-legendary baby Dratini from the Kanto region, which is one of the reasons why this arcade is so famous.

Articuno's flight speed is not slow, and about two hours later, Guxin arrived outside Rainbow City.

After letting Articuno land in the wild, Gushin put Articuno away and went to Celadon City.

Normally, Pokémon are not allowed to carry people into cities, mainly because it affects the city's appearance and to avoid accidental injury.

Moreover, Articuno is, after all, one of the legendary Pokémon of Kanto, which is too eye-catching. Guxin doesn't dislike the feeling of being the center of attention; in fact, she quite likes it. However, the timing isn't right now.

Outside a hot pot restaurant outside Yuhong Game City, this was the place where Gu Xin had arranged to meet Xiao Lan.

"There's been no movement for over two hours. Could they really have been caught?"

Gu Xin glanced at the group chat and noticed that Li Jia hadn't made a sound in the chat.

If he really infiltrated Team Rocket's base, it's normal that he wouldn't have time to check his phone or send messages. But another possibility is that this guy has already been captured by Team Rocket.

After all, Giovanni would definitely inform Apollo that someone had infiltrated the base.

Hey~

At that moment, a girl's voice rang out from behind Guxin.

Why are you pretending like this?

Gu Xin turned his head and saw a black-haired girl with an ordinary appearance, wearing a T-shirt and a plaid skirt.

Gu Xin glanced at Xiao Lan's chest with a strange expression, because the curve was astonishingly large, easily a D cup.

"Hey! What kind of look is that? You pervert!"

The girl named Lan keenly noticed Gu Xin's offensive gaze and immediately crossed her arms and puffed out her cheeks.

"It's not necessarily true that bigger is better. Even if you're not satisfied with yourself, we have to learn to face reality."

After thinking for a moment, Gu Xin expressed his understanding of Xiao Lan's self-deceptive behavior and offered her some gentle words of comfort.

"What?! I've always been this big, okay?!" Little Blue was furious.

What does it mean to learn to face reality?!

"Yes, yes, yes."

Gu Xin nodded in agreement.

"Guxin!!"

Xiao Lan gritted her teeth. She was only pretending, and although she had a little selfish motive, she was a cute girl. What was wrong with making herself a little bigger?

Now that she's faced with the truth, her truth is that she's 36D!

"Did you call Crimson?"

"I called him, but it will take him a while to get here." Xiao Lan turned her head away, the topic change was really abrupt.

"Okay, let's go and observe our surroundings first."

Gu Xin gazed at the bustling and dazzling giant game city.

"it is good."

The two of them began to stroll around the arcade like any ordinary passerby.

"There's news about the Rockets' base. Officer Jenny in Celestial City should have received the news by now. I've also notified Champion Lance."

Guxin glanced at the passersby around him and spoke softly to Xiao Lan beside him.

"You notified the Imperial Dragon Crossing?" Xiao Lan was taken aback upon hearing this.

"Yes, what's wrong?" Gu Xin was a little surprised by Xiao Lan's reaction.

"There's not much of a problem, but Lance's attitude towards Team Rocket is very extreme," Blue said softly as well.

She had the privilege of secretly witnessing the destruction of a Team Rocket base by Yulongdu.

"In the Kanto League, Lorelei and Lance are two very special people; their treatment of Team Rocket is extremely cruel."

Xiao Lan knows them all like the back of her hand.

"It is said that seven out of ten Team Rocket members arrested by Kona may suffer from severe frostbite, leaving them with chronic illnesses and sequelae, or even freezing to death if they are not rescued in time."

"And Lance is even more outrageous; only Team Rocket members who survive his attack are eligible for arrest by the League!"

Xiao Lan introduced the team with great interest, but as for sympathizing with the Rockets? Not at all.

Lance's attack at the time was a huge shock to Blue, as the swarm of dragon stars that fell from the sky completely covered Team Rocket's base and bombarded it relentlessly.

To be honest, Team Rocket hiding in the base was really unlucky under this attack; whether they survived was really a matter of luck.

Little Blue knows all too well what Team Rocket does behind the scenes. Because of her childhood experiences, she has absolutely no liking for such an evil organization as Team Rocket.

This is one of the reasons why she always causes trouble for the Rockets.

"I see." Gu Xin seemed to understand. It seemed that Lance and Kona both had rather extreme personalities.

As they chatted and walked, the two soon arrived at a secluded alley, which was behind the arcade.

"By the way, look over there, that's how I infiltrated Team Rocket's base."

Xiao Lan pointed to a hidden manhole cover in a corner ahead and said to Gu Xin.

"It was quite a coincidence. I felt something was off about the arcade and was about to investigate when I saw someone sneaking out of there. I went inside and found out it led directly to Team Rocket's base."

"That's amazing," Guxin praised Xiaolan.

pat~

Just then, the manhole cover was pushed open, and a person dressed in tight black clothes climbed up from underneath, coming face to face with Gu Xin and Xiao Lan.

This is a girl; you can still clearly see her figure under her tight-fitting clothes.

The man in black was stunned for a moment, but when he saw Gu Xin clearly, his expression lit up with joy. He limped over to Gu Xin as if he was about to burst into tears.

"Master Guxin!! Please save this young lady!"

"Oh my god! I really don't understand, I haven't been infiltrated for long, why does it feel like the entire Team Rocket team at the base is searching for me?!"
