Hearing Tom's words, Dui was somewhat tempted.

He knew of the Ancient Tomb Hill, which had been a sacred site for the northern Dunedan people and the capital of Kadoran after the Kingdom of Arno split into three kingdoms.

However, with the invasion of the Witch-King of Angmar, the leader of the Nine Ringwraiths under Sauron, and the rampant plague, the Kingdom of Kaldoran fell apart. The vast majority of the local residents died of the disease, and the ancient burial mounds, which became a no-man's land, fell into the hands of the Witch-King.

Furthermore, under the corrupting influence of the Dark Lord of Angmar, the Dunedan people who slept in the cemetery were transformed into terrifying undead, and Ancient Graveyard became a terrifying zone where no one dared to approach.

The Dunedan are descendants of the Númenor, a formidable race that routed Sauron and his dark army, capturing Sauron and taking him back to Númenor Island.

If the Númenorans had not been later seduced by Sauron and had not dared to lead their fleet to Valinor, declaring that this sacred land belonged to them, thus offending the Valar and Ilúvatar and incurring the gods' punishment, which led to the sinking of the island of Númenor.

This demon king Sauron was merely a prisoner of the Númenóreans and posed no threat whatsoever.

That said, as a sacred site for the Dúnedan people, the tombs at Guzang Hill are mostly the final resting places of Dúnedan kings and nobles. According to their traditions, the deceased are buried with their jewelry, weapons, and other valuables.

So if Dui really wanted to find a sharp knife that could cut through the heartwood of a tree, Kozuka Hill would indeed be a good option.

The only thing to worry about is those ancient tomb corpse demons.

The Ancient Tomb Corpse Demons were once powerful Dunedan people, but after death, they were transformed into immortal dark creatures by dark forces, making them even more difficult to deal with.

Therefore, if Dui wants to go to Kozuka-oka, he must make sufficient preparations.

Since Tom knew about the situation at Kozuka Hill and lived so close to it, he must have some understanding of the Kozuka Corpse Demon. So he asked Tom about the Corpse Demon.

Tom didn't hide anything. "The corpse demons have bodies as hard as iron, immense strength, and lightning speed. Ordinary people can't even see them before they're attacked. Moreover, they appear in thick fog, making them impossible to spot. If you're attacked, you'll be cursed, weakened, and die, eventually turning into a corpse demon! More importantly, ordinary weapons are ineffective against corpse demons, and their bodies can quickly regenerate even after being attacked."

Dui's expression grew increasingly solemn as he listened; this corpse demon seemed even more difficult to deal with than the tree people in the old forest.

"Does that corpse demon have any weaknesses?"

"Yes, there is one: the corpse demon is afraid of sunlight, and it will dissipate as soon as it is exposed to sunlight."

But before Dui could be happy, Tom added, "But the corpse demons create fog and hide in it, so even during the day, it's not safe on Kozuka Hill."

"So if you insist on going to Kozuka Hill, you must not let the corpse demon get close, especially when you encounter thick fog, because the corpse demon may be hiding in the thick fog."

"I understand, thank you for your suggestion, Tom."

Dui temporarily abandoned his plan to go to Kozuka Hill right now. He decided to improve his strength first so that he would be more confident in getting what he wanted from Kozuka Hill.

So he turned his attention to the first willow wand he had successfully made.

This wand was originally just a practice piece he made, but he kept it because it had sentimental value.

But since the Tree Heart Wand can't be made right now, he simply finished this unfinished wand to use as a substitute for the wand he needed most.

The wand consists of two parts: the wand body and the wand core. The wand body is now complete, but the wand core is still missing.

In the magical world, wand cores are often made from a part of a magical creature. For example, Ollivander liked three magical creatures: dragon heartstrings, unicorn hair, and phoenix feathers.

But in Middle-earth, there are no creatures like unicorns or phoenixes.

As for the fire dragon, Lonely Mountain does have one. Putting aside the fact that distant water cannot quench immediate thirst, even if the dragon were right in front of him, he currently lacked the strength to kill it and obtain the Dragon Heartstring.

Just as Dui was wondering where to find the wand core, he saw Lady Goldenberry sitting between water lily pots, combing her long hair, and his eyes lit up.

Lady Goldenberry is the daughter of the river and undoubtedly possesses extraordinary magic. If her hair were used to make the core of the wand, it should be effective.

"Beautiful Lady Goldenberry, may I have a strand of your hair?" Dui asked Goldenberry.

"Hey kid, Goldenberry is mine!" Tom jumped up, glaring at Dui with a wary look.

Goldenberry smiled brightly, reassuringly taking Tom's hand. Her eyes were gentle yet full of wisdom as she looked at Dui and asked, "Can you tell me what you want my hair for?"

Dui quickly explained, "It's like this, Ms. Goldenberry, my wand is missing a core, so I wanted to make a wand using Ms. Goldenberry's hair. But please forgive my rudeness if it offends you!"

"It's nothing." Goldenberry didn't mind at all, casually plucked a strand of blonde hair and handed it to him, asking, "Is one enough? I can pluck a few more if you need them."

"Enough! Enough!" Dui said hurriedly. He felt like Tom was going to glare him to death if he pulled any further.

Upon receiving the strand of hair from the goldenberry, Dui immediately sensed its magic and the aura of water.

Dui was overjoyed; this was absolutely perfect for making wands, and far more effective than the fur of magical creatures from the wizarding world.

"Hey kid, Goldenberry gave you a hair, so I'll give you a beard too." Tom was annoyed that Dui had received a hair from his wife, so he immediately plucked out a beard, determined to be a perfect match for his wife.

Dui was pleasantly surprised by this unexpected bonus. He didn't mind Tom's beard at all. Although Tom's identity was mysterious, he was undoubtedly very powerful and ancient, and his beard naturally contained something extraordinary.

But before he could even feel happy, he was astonished to see the beard quickly wrap around Goldenberry's hair, completely merging into a single, thicker, golden-brown strand of hair.

"This..." Dui was dumbfounded, then he was at a loss for words.

I never expected Old Tom to be so jealous; he'd get jealous of even a single hair.

He picked up the strand of hair and beard, examined it carefully, and his eyes lit up.

He was initially worried that the two strands of hair intertwining would create a conflicting attribute, making them unsuitable for making a staff core.

Unexpectedly, the two strands of hair merged very well, increasing their magical properties several times over.

Now that he had the core, Dui began preparing to make a wand.

Since he couldn't carve the heartwood, he could only make a wand from willow wood and Tom and Goldenberry's hair.

As for the core of the Tree Heart Wand, he would see later whether he could replace it with a willow core or find another suitable core.

Although a wand has a shaft and a core, making a wand is not as simple as just stuffing the core into the shaft and casting a spell. It requires a series of complicated steps and rituals.

Dui first collected the dew that had not yet been exposed to the sun in the early morning, until he had collected a whole small basin of it. Then he soaked the willow wood shaft and the hair used as the core in the dew and placed it under the moonlight to dry for seven days to ensure that the performance of the shaft and core was maximized.

Dui then went into the old forest and began searching for magical trees that could produce resin, eventually finding a giant pine and a lacquer tree.

Using a petrifying spell to immobilize the two restless and hostile trees, Dui cut open the bark of the pine and lacquer trees with a knife before sunrise to collect the pine and lacquer resins.

With all this done, the wand-making process officially began.

Dui used a special drill to drill a small hole from the end of the willow wood, deep enough to hold a strand of hair.

Magical runes were carved into the inner walls of the holes to serve as nodes for magic conversion.

Then, using long tweezers, grasp the hair and carefully insert it into the hole, ensuring the hair strands are evenly distributed within the cavity. Next, carefully pour the melted pine resin into the hole, being careful not to create any air bubbles.

Once the resin has completely filled the pores and dried naturally, the hair and wand will fuse together completely under the adhesive of the resin.

Having done all that, Duy carefully sanded the wand until it was smooth, and then applied tree lacquer.

Thus, a complete magic wand was created.

Even at this point, the wand still cannot cast spells; a final and crucial ritual is still required.

On another full moon night, Dui stood under the moonlight, holding his wand and waving it in specific movements, continuously infusing it with magic while chanting incantations: "Like Nix-Inskery-Berry, Spiritus-Aura-Risontia..."

As the lengthy incantation was chanted, moonlight gathered, forming a silvery gas, which was then absorbed by the wand.

In a daze, Dui heard a faint heartbeat coming from the wand.

The wand in his hand seemed to come alive, becoming extraordinary.

"Fluorescent lights!"

A bright light appeared at the tip of the wand, illuminating Dui's smile.
