"What's going on! What happened?" The loud noise startled everyone inside the yurt.

"Beware! Enemies!" Gandalf jumped up, grabbed his staff, and shouted. The gem at the top of the staff emitted a dazzling white light, illuminating the tent.

The dwarves also drew their weapons, such as short swords, axes, or hammers.

Bilbo was startled awake from his sleep. Having never seen such a scene before, he quickly drew his dagger like the dwarves, extremely nervous.

Dui woke up when the magical barrier was attacked. He drew his wand and shouted, "Don't panic, everyone! I've set up a magical barrier outside; the enemy can't get in for now!"

After saying that, he immediately rushed out of the yurt and came outside, with Gandalf and the others following closely behind.

"It's a corpse demon!"

Upon seeing the tall, dark figure not far away, everyone gasped in surprise.

Dui was no less shocked than the others when he saw the Corpse Demon.

He clearly remembered that the expedition team had never encountered a corpse demon, so why was it different from his memory?

Upon seeing the group, the corpse demon became even more agitated and transformed into a black shadow, charging towards them once more.

"Prepare for battle!" Thorin shouted, raising his sword.

The dagger was forged by the last prince of the Kingdom of Kadolan to fight against the Witch King of Angmar. It has the ability to suppress dark forces, and its effect on the undead is immediate.

The corpse demon let out a resentful roar, and a burst of black energy shot straight into the sky from its body before exploding and dissipating.

As the ghoul fell to the ground and turned into a pile of bones, the dwarves were silent for a moment, and then immediately burst into cheers.

Gandalf raised his staff and slammed it heavily on the ground, his voice booming like thunder: "Avoid evil!"

Saint White's magical aura exploded like a tsunami, and hordes of corpse demons roared and pounced. Before their sharp claws could even touch the edge of his cloak, they were all blasted away by the burst of lightning power and instantly lost their ability to resist.

Dui's eyes were filled with shock. He wondered when he would be able to possess such power.

But just when he thought the battle was about to end, a shadow of death suddenly loomed over everyone.

Evil, dark language echoed around them, and everyone felt a bone-chilling cold. Their blood seemed to freeze, and their hearts felt as if they were being gripped by an icy hand. Instantly, they were filled with fear and despair, and their minds and consciousness were impacted by the darkness, gradually driving them to madness.

A tall, crowned corpse demon emerged from the darkness, its eyes burning with an eerie light and radiating a chilling aura, as if it were a deathly shadow emerging from the darkness itself.

Just when everyone thought they were about to succumb to despair and madness, a force full of warmth, courage, and hope enveloped them, dispelling the fear and coldness in their hearts.

Then countless cheerful and lively golden musical notes appeared, surrounding everyone. The music played by the notes was highly infectious, making everyone feel happy involuntarily and resisting the negative emotional influence brought by the corpse demon.

Everyone looked at Dui and realized that the dancing notes were flying out of his wand.

But at this moment, Dui looked at the corpse demon that appeared in the distance as if facing a formidable enemy. He remembered this feeling, and it was even stronger than the last time.

He immediately shouted to Gandalf, "Gandalf, he is the Witch-King of Angmar! He is possessing a wight!"

Gandalf's expression turned grave upon hearing this. He raised his wand against the wight, his aged yet majestic voice booming like thunder: "Nazghur, dark spirit, this is not your territory! Go back to your Netherworld!"

The Angmar Witch-King, possessed by the corpse demon, paused, but uttered a chilling, piercing ancient dark language: "Witch, you cannot stop me."

Enraged, Gandalf unleashed a bolt of lightning from his staff, striking the wight.

The corpse demon was blasted to ashes by lightning.

But the next second, a fallen corpse demon stood up, opened its flame-burning eyes, and let out a triumphant laugh: "You can't kill me, wizard. I'm thousands of miles away now, what can you do to me?"

Gandalf didn't say anything, and instead unleashed another bolt of lightning that shattered the undead possessed by the Witch-King of Angmar.

As expected, the Witch-King Angmar possessed another ghoul, this time turning his dark gaze upon Dui with a sinister grin and an air of certainty. "Young wizard, I told you I would remember you. You are marked, forever unable to escape, destined to fall into darkness and become my spoils!"

Dui felt a chill run down his spine as he faced the Witch-King of Angmar's determined gaze.

He was marked? When did that happen? Why didn't he notice?

Dui felt uncomfortable all over, and he was annoyed by the Angmar Witch King's smug and unrestrained manner.

Do you want to treat him as a trophy? Does that mean you've got him cornered?

"Watch out, you might break your teeth!" Dui scoffed.

With a wave of his hand, a small wooden box flew out of the luggage and landed in his hand. He opened it and took out the item wrapped in black cloth.

Then he immediately shouted to Gandalf, "Gandalf, don't destroy his body yet, make him incapacitated first!"
