Dui looked him up and down, seemingly lost in thought.

"Are you from Dunedan?"

A look of surprise flashed in the man's eyes, and he nodded slightly. "I didn't expect anyone else to know about us."

"I heard it from someone else. They said there's a band of rangers in the Eliador Wasteland who secretly maintain peace in the region."

Dui naturally knew about the Dunedan people; they were descendants of the Númenor people and possessed strength and lifespan far exceeding that of ordinary people.

But could it be that this Dunedan ranger is looking for him because he led a group to rob his ancestor's tomb, and is now causing trouble?

He remembered these northern Dunedan people, the remnants of the former Kingdom of Arno, whose ancestors were buried in the ancient burial mound.

"What brings you here?"

Dui did not believe that this Dunedan man was simply visiting him.

Alpha didn't beat around the bush, "I heard that you, Wizard Duir, possess some ancient swords obtained from corpse demons. May I take a look?"

As long as it didn't involve tomb raiding, Dui readily agreed. After dealing with the Corpse Demon, besides gold and silver treasures, the most Dui got was the Corpse Demon Ancient Sword.

After obtaining the Corpse Demon Ancient Sword, Alpha examined the longsword carefully before reluctantly returning it to Dui.

"This sword was forged using the lost Numenor forging technique, and even after thousands of years, its sharpness remains undiminished. Moreover, the blade bears the insignia of the Arno nobility, so I believe it once belonged to a nobleman of the Kingdom of Arno."

Alpha made a request: "The Numenor forging technique has been lost, and we have been trying to trace its origins. Wizard Duir, would you be willing to trade a few ancient swords with us? You can make your request, and we will try our best to fulfill it!"

Dui had been struggling with how to deal with these ancient swords of the corpse demons these days, and now Alpha's request was exactly what he wanted.

He thought for a moment, then immediately nodded and said, "I have dozens of ancient swords, which I can give to you."

Alpha was overjoyed upon hearing this. He had originally hoped to get a few ancient swords from Dui, but he was surprised that Dui was willing to give them all up.

He quickly replied, "Wizard Duir, what are your requests? We will fulfill them as long as it is within our power!"

"You Dunedan people travel far and wide, you must be very knowledgeable. I would like to ask you to help me collect various herbs from Middle-earth, especially those that contain magical power, preferably alive."

Hearing Dui's request, Alpha was somewhat surprised and hesitated before saying:

"Don't worry, Wizard Duir, we will do our best to collect the herbs for you, but these things may take some time..."

Dui waved his hand, "It's okay, I'm not in a hurry. As long as you can help me collect as many herbs as possible."

Hearing this, Alpha breathed a sigh of relief and immediately agreed.

And so a deal was struck in the inn.

Both sides were overjoyed. Alpha obtained enough ancient swords from the Corpse Demon to have the opportunity to trace the lost Numenor forging technique from the ancient swords and restore the glory of the Dunedan people in the past.

Dui, on the other hand, was able to obtain more Middle-earth herbs by leveraging the power of the Dunedan.

Herbs are the foundation of potion making, but many of the magical herbs in the Harry Potter world do not exist in Middle-earth.

Dui planned to first collect herbs from Middle-earth, and then, once he had accumulated enough knowledge of potions and herbalism, he would find substitute herbs to replicate all the magical potions.

Having completed the transaction, Alpha, carrying the dozens of Corpse Demon Ancient Swords he had just acquired, left the town overnight.

Dui and his group stayed overnight at the Prairie Inn and set off again early the next morning.

To Dui's dismay, alcohol made up almost half of the supplies the dwarves received.

She studied fine art at the Icelandic College of Arts and Crafts and at Pratt Institute, New York, and holds BA and MA degrees in art history and philosophy from the University of Iceland. Sigrún lives and works in Iceland.

It's another moonlit night.

The group camped out in the wilderness, and Dui once again used his shapeshifting magic to conjure up a tent and sleeping bags.

While most people were asleep, Dui came outside the tent and poured out a bag of moonstones, placing it in the moonlight.

Then he drew his wand and, as if counting points, tapped each moonstone with it.

As the wand continued to strike, magic was continuously channeled into the moonstone.

Moonstone is a good medium for storing magic. After being infused with magic, moonstone emits a pale blue glow and begins to slowly absorb moonlight.

In the days that followed, every night, Dui would take out the moonstone and place it under the moon to dry.

This will continue until the next full moon.

The others in the group naturally noticed Dui's behavior, but since Dui didn't explain, they didn't feel comfortable asking him directly.

The group arrived at Fengyun Peak without incident.

Fengyun Peak is the highest and southernmost mountain in the Fengyun Hills, adjacent to the main east-west road. In Sindarin, it is called Amonsur, meaning "hill of the wind".

Windfall Peak was once an important frontline fortress of the Northern Kingdom of Arno. The Numenor people built a huge watchtower on Windfall Peak to house the largest and most powerful Knowledge Crystal—the Amonsur Crystal—in order to monitor the entire Eriado region and to communicate with other Knowledge Crystals.

However, as the Kingdom of Arnor split and weakened, in 1409 of the Third Age, the Witch-King of Angmar besieged Windrise, and the Tower of Amonthul was destroyed and razed to the ground. The True Knowledge Crystals stored in the tower were unfortunately lost and sank to the bottom of the sea during the war.

For more than a thousand years afterward, the Tower of Amun-sur was never rebuilt, leaving only a ring of stone walls that tell the story of its former glory.

Dui wanted to try checking in at the top of Fengyun Peak, so he suggested that they stay there for the night first.

No one objected to Dui's suggestion.

Arriving at the ruins of Amun-sur-Ta, Gandalf gazed at the crumbling walls, his eyes filled with memories, and sighed, "The grandeur of Amun-sur-Ta is still vivid in my mind, but time flies, and now its former glory is gone forever!"

Hearing Gandalf's recollections, Bilbo asked curiously, "Gandalf, have you seen the Tower of Amun-Thul?"

Gandalf nodded and recalled, "The Tower of Amun-Thul was very majestic and tall, a full 1000 feet high, soaring into the clouds. It was the tallest tower in the entire Eriador region, and the Stone of Wisdom placed inside could be seen even from the edge of the wasteland a thousand miles away."

1000 feet? Dui was astonished. That was equivalent to a height of over 300 meters, which was about the height of a hundred-story building in his previous life!

The dwarves were also very surprised, as such a tall building was a huge undertaking even for them, who were skilled in construction.

However, Dui quickly lost interest in marveling at the system, as it finally responded.

"Sign in," Dui silently repeated to himself.
