Animagus is one of the greatest achievements in human transfiguration.

It can transform a wizard into a specific non-magical animal, making it easier to conceal their identity or lie in wait.

To perform the Animagus transformation, one must hold a mandrake leaf in their mouth for a full month (from one full moon to the next). The leaf cannot be swallowed or removed from the mouth during this time. If the leaf leaves the mouth, the entire process must be restarted.

"The orcs are my enemies, but you killed their leader, so you're my friend!"

Just then, the dwarves inside the house mistakenly thought they had received Gandalf's signal and came out in pairs.

The previously amiable Beorn suddenly changed his expression, grabbed his giant axe, and glared fiercely at the dwarf.
